We had such a lovely stay. The view from this flat was more than amazing, right one the Atlantic Ocean with view of the city. It is located right in the heart of everything. Wear comfortable sturdy shoes as it's all cobblestone and very hilly. The beds were comfortable, the lots of seating, all the amenities you need to cook at home. Use of washing machine was very helpful and a cute little terrace to hang your clothes and hang out. It far exceeded my expectations. Communication with Mafalda was so easy, and she was quick to respond. I would highly recommend.

House is lovely, great ocean view. Open space with a retro vibe. Loved the antiques and old phonographs. Big bathroom. 3rd bedroom is a big loft. Very quiet neighborhood except for the roosters. Back porch would be fantastic in warm weather, which we did not have. Central to all the attractions. Francisco’s honey is delicious!

Judith's place is absolutely fantastic! My family (parents, wife, brother-in-law, and their baby) stayed at this wonderful home, and it had one of the best views we’ve ever experienced. The co-hosts, Manuel and Carla, were incredibly kind and helpful, making us feel right at home. They even brought us fresh cheese, milk, butter, and breakfast for a small additional fee—it was worth every penny! Terceira is a beautiful island, and staying at Judith's place made our trip even more special. We highly recommend it!

Our experience was wonderful from the moment we arrived. We were so surprised that Eugenia greeted us with a pot of soup and fresh bread that helped make our first evening there much easier. The home has everything you need, a great kitchen and the sound of the waves to put you to sleep at night. The patio was absolutely amazing for watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee. Eugenia is an amazing host and stayed very accessible to us. Very responsive to questions and requests. We work when we travel so we asked if there was an extension cord available for us to be able to sit on the patio with our laptops. Rui, her husband, showed up within minutes with one for us to use. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Teresa’s house in the Azores is an absolute must-visit! Not only is the house spotless and cozy, but Teresa herself is one of the kindest and most thoughtful hosts I’ve ever met. When it started raining, she went above and beyond by personally driving me to a restaurant in her cool classic truck, and even offered to drop me at the airport. Her hospitality is unmatched, and staying at her Airbnb felt more like visiting a friend. If you get the chance to stay at her place, don’t hesitate—book it! I had a wonderful stay at the ground-floor apartment of Carlos and Carolina. They were both very welcoming and came out to greet me despite my very late arrival! There was a key-safe box there which I could have used if they had not been able to meet me. The apartment had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. There was spacious off-street parking and a lovely outside space with a fabulous view. They kept in contact during my stay to check whether I needed anything or wanted recommendations. Carolina even kindly offered to translate for me on her day off when I was trying to arrange with a priest to see a church of interest that was closed due to renovation. Biscoitos itself is unique and beautiful - you will not regret coming here for a holiday.
