Treehouse vacation rentals in Guanacaste Province

This home is amazing! You feel like you are staying in a tree house! Way more beautiful than the pictures show! Peaceful yet close to everything too! 10/10!

Saskia is so kind and fun. I'm grateful for my time on her beautiful property. She was very accommodating when I decided to leave early, after seeing how much Nosara has changed. Her land is a haven, tucked away from the bustle in Guiones. So much natural beauty, and lots and lots of animals (dogs, horses, chickens). I would recommend a vehicle if you want to be involved in what's going on around town. I wasn't super comfortable cooking in the kitchen (not the cleanest and only teflon pans), but there's a blender and fridge for fruit, etc. I stayed in the treehouse room, which is so beautiful and open, with the comfiest hammock. Just note that the roosters crow in the trees for like an hour in the early morning (and often sporadically throughout the night). I would absolutely come back for a few days, just with different expectations (and maybe a bike) :)

La Casa Margarita was everything it was listed to be. It has an open layout with a creative floor plan. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, plans, cutlery, & storage containers, as well as blenders, toaster oven, and other cooking appliances. We had no trouble accessing the property, but 4-wheel drive would be advisable – both for here and for accessing some of the beach locations. Waze/Google get you close, but you will need to be shown the last turns the first time. The Paraiso grocery store next to the soccer field carries most of the basics you will need. Although we have been to CR about 10 times, this was our first time in the Guanacaste region. It was hot (90F+) and dry. Fortunately, there was quite a breeze and the heat never felt oppressive. Few bugs, and those that were there weren’t of the biting kind. Howler monkeys were easily visible from the decks almost every day & Turquoise-browed Motmot, Scissor-tailed Flycatcher, & Streaked-backed Oriole were frequent visitors.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible Airbnb, and I can’t say enough good things about it! From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the charm and uniqueness of the property—it’s clear that every detail was thoughtfully designed to create a welcoming and unforgettable experience. The space was impeccably clean, cozy, and packed with all the amenities I could possibly need, making it feel like a true home away from home. The location was perfect, offering easy access to local attractions while still providing a peaceful retreat to unwind. The host was an absolute gem—super responsive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was flawless. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing getaway or an adventure-filled trip, this place has it all. I’m already looking forward to my next visit—five stars doesn’t even do it justice! Highly recommend to anyone browsing Airbnb for a standout stay!

The property is absolutely beautiful! The surroundings and the views are stunning. Lots of wildlife! The cabin and all of the common spaces are so well thought out. You can tell a lot of intention was put into every detail. Very good energy here and I felt very welcome. The hosts were very communicative and helpful! They had an event going on and family in town, but still took time to accommodate us. I was fortunate to do some treatments with Anne. She has such a calming presence and her spa is beyond! She has very unique, advanced offerings! Samantha was also super sweet and helpful and has a very good knowledge of Costa Rica and gave great recommendations. I will definitely return to this place and I would love to plan a retreat and come back with a group. Thank you for everything :)!

We had such a great time. Mau was responsive and attentive to all our needs/questions and was very welcoming when we arrived. An incredible location in nature. Such a cool experience. I do want everyone to know 4 wheel drive is crucial when traveling Costa Rica.

We enjoyed our stay at the treehouse and got to see some wildlife while sitting on the deck. The kitchen was perfect for making a good breakfast before enjoying all the local activities.

We enjoyed the time at the Airbnb very much. Raquel and her husband were super nice and friendly and gave us tips on what to do in the area. The beaches nearby were very nice and quiet. The tiny house was really great and you had a great view. The house was lovingly decorated and cozy. It was just a little too warm for us to sleep without air conditioning, but otherwise everything was perfect.

We had a wonderful stay here, we wish we had stayed longer as we enjoyed it so much! The treehouse felt like you were in the middle of the forest yet it was easy to get into town. We saw so much wildlife from the balcony including toucans and luis kindly came and got us when he found howler monkeys! Beautiful location, Highly Recommend!

This was hands down the best Airbnb I've ever stayed at. The location is very private and so peaceful to wake up to. The minimalist design coupled with all of the amenities you could need made this place unforgettable. Things are stored in the cupboards and drawers you expect them to be in, which is an Airbnb first. The pots, pans and utensils were all in great condition and very useful. If you're looking for privacy, peace and luxury, you can't find a better place.

The tree house had everything we needed. My son and I had a wonderful stay here and would come back again if we are ever back in Monteverde in the future. Edwin was very responsive and helpful, a great host. I was especially impressed with the kitchen--clean, very functional and fully equipped. During our stay, a new parking lot was under construction as well. My only minor complaint was about the temperature of the shower water--it was a bit on the cold side. The location is great too, very close to a number of great restaurants. Highly recommend!

This place is a complete dream! I cannot explain how much we loved our stay! The architecture and every very single detail put into this house is remarkable. Great romantic getaway for animal/nature lovers. Every morning we got to wake up to birds and monkeys. Gorgeous sunrises/ sunsets! Tried most of the recommendations on Crista’s list and they did not disappoint! She was extremely helpful and responded very quickly! Can’t wait to stay again!!

Staying at the treehouse was an amazing experience! We could hear the monkeys most mornings. You are surrounded by nature everywhere you look! Especially on the hammocks. Edwin was a fantastic host and was very attentive of everything, he even offered to book tours for us (unfortunately we had already planned beforehand). The house is about 15 minutes away from town, with lots of sodas and a grocery store and some really nice souvenir shops. We loved it here
