House vacation rentals in Guanacaste Province

It's an amazing place, everything was as indicated, it's a very complete and very well-equipped place, there were more appliances than I thought there would be, the whole house was air-conditioned and very very clean and in the kitchen area there were very large fans that made it so the heat wasn't felt, that part of the kitchen was open and next to the pool, which made our stay to enjoy as a family more united, since we could all be together, the beach is very close by walking, everything is very safe and very clean... We will definitely go back to this place many times, my family and I were delighted with the beautiful place and the attention of Mr. Dustin and Mrs. Norma..... We definitely spent an incredible vacation in this place, for us it was more than we expected and we have no complaints... Totally recommended

Beautiful house with a great private pool! We stayed with four toddlers and appreciated that the door to the pool locked with a key--only downside to keeping the door closed though is that we couldn't open that whole set of doors facing the pool to cool off as intended, so the downstairs got hot. But if you don't have little kids that won't be an issue. We had a problem with one of the ACs but host was responsive and we got it fixed. If you are staying with kids be aware that the walk to town is on a busy road with not much of a sidewalk, so driving/taxi/hiking backpacks may be useful. The hosts give a lot of info and the place is exactly as listed, but it would be nice if check in could be easier to do on our own with lock codes, etc. Small thing but it would be great if shampoo were available as an amenity. Great place though and we would definitely stay again!

The house is spectacular, spacious and super modern. The street is unpaved and it takes a long time to get to the main road. The nearby beaches are very rocky, so we were able to take advantage of the pool and home amenities.

Very safe and private, you can really rest in the place. We loved the pool and the ranch, it's big and suitable for the whole family. The nearby river is beautiful, we didn't imagine it was so nice, it's a place to connect with nature and rest with the family. Close to the Rincón de la Vieja Volcano and about an hour from the Bahía Junquillal Wildlife Reserve, a wonderful beach, we would definitely come back again. Jorge was very helpful at all times, he was attentive to us and what we needed, he is a super host, we recommend it.

The house is beautiful, as seen in the photos, it is a quiet area, the attention from the hosts was excellent, we always got a quick response to our questions, everything very clean, the instructions for access very clear, everything worked perfectly, I recommend it 100%, we had a great time!

This is truly a one of a kind (maybe even lifetime!) experience of a place to stay. Where else can you walk out of the pool and directly into the kitchen, living room or dining room? And get fresh air and breezes right into the house? We were a little worried that without AC in the main part of the house it would be uncomfortably hot. It was not an issue at all. Somehow the breezes blow in, the fans kept the air moving, and it felt so nice to hear the birds and not be stuck inside! It was also a very walkable 10-15 min into town, but note that Costa Rica is not big on sidewalks, so you do need to contend with traffic, scooters, and other walkers. But everyone does it, and makes you feel like a local! Down on the street is a place called Zolu, that makes amazing made to order food. You will sit outside and wait a bit but it was the best food we had and very reasonably priced.

This house is in a great location. You can walk to the beach and are right around the corner from shops, bars and restaurants. The pool area is beautiful. We were lucky that so many of the plants were in flower, so it made hanging out there really nice. The kitchen is functional and the AC in the bedrooms was great. Could have done with AC in the main room, as that was still hot despite the fans. The vibe of the house is very chill, although the bathrooms could do with a bit of an update. We had problems with opening the front door. There is definitely a knack! Alex was very helpful and his recommendations were spot on. We had a good stay.

A glorious property right on the Samara beachfront. We rented out all four units for our four person family which gave everyone plenty of space and freedom. The house was quiet and peaceful - neighbours were rarely seen. The ocean and waves were beautiful for a family swim. The area felt very safe, even at night. Maggie the property manager was a total gem and helped us settle in. Highly recommend this property for those who are looking for a walk-out beachfront property a little outside of town.

The ease of this property and responsiveness is how the property owners have a local property manager who was responsive, friendly and extremely helpful! We so very much appreciated the approved purchase of two camping chairs allowing us to enjoy the many activities and beach! Lia Delfina’s is one of a kind community!

Wow! We had a great time at Tavi’s home— comfortable furnishings, well stocked kitchen, and a beautiful view amid flowers and with the sweet songs of birds. The owners were so kind to provide information on the area, which was super helpful. We enjoyed so much the delicious food and experience at Casa Italia, we enjoyed it twice. The German restaurant also has a yummy breakfast. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

We loved our stay at the Beach House! Absolutely amazing location at the beachfront, empty beach, nice garden area and cute house. Note regarding insects: We did get visited by a lot of bugs in the house (especially ants) but when we sealed the front door were to able to limit the number.

Very clean, very comfortable. We had a great time and the host has been flexible with us and I can’t thank her enough (we were travelling with 3 young kids). Loved the backyard and the layout.

Wonderful week with my family of four! Loved Punta Islita—beautiful beach and resort- amenities available to us! So much wildlife around! We actually loved the separate master bedroom, worked perfectly for us. The pool was exquisite! Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay which was one of a kind experience. Samantha was very helpful and communicative right from the get go with check-in instructions, local recommendations, excursions and really anything we needed during our stay. She was always very quick to respond and provided all the information we needed. She communicated when landscapers, pool cleaners and any workers upkeeping the property would be coming by well ahead of time in order to keep the property in A+ condition. Marilyn, who was our maid throughout our stay was absolutely wonderful. She came everyday to clean, make breakfast, snacks, drinks and was a lovely person to get to know. She only knows a little bit of english so make sure to use a translator to communicate! The house was spotless everyday before she left and she cleaned all rooms and washrooms daily. Marilyn was truly the cherry on top for this airbnb, thank you for all your help! The pool was nice, rooms spacious, each room had its own washroom & AC.

Bertha and Kamal hooked me up with a local guide who helped me throughout the week. The house was nicely appointed, very clean and everything worked. Linens were of good quality. AC was good. Kitchen well equipped. The location is fantastic if you like the lush tropical rainforest vibe with lots of wildlife. Saw sloths, monkeys, Toucans a variety of birds and even an armadillo.. Proximity to Tenorio and Miravalles National Parks is excellent. Bijagua is a nice town and you get a feel for the real Costa Rica. I plan to return.

Great place to spend a relaxing vacation. Douglas was very responsive and the property was in a beautiful location. If you arent familiar with Costa Rica, be prepared the roads and long travel times. The location is in a beautiful location, but doesnt have alot of locations near the property. We were looking for that so it was perfect. Douglas' instructions and recommendations were very helpful and we really enjoyed the pool on property. We also had private chefs and massages on site which were great.

We had a great time, everything was perfect.We loved the pool and the casita was perfect for my 25 years old daughter. The view was incredible. There was construction near by but it wasn’t loud. It didn’t affect our vacation. I loved the kitchen, it was really well equipped! We highly recommend La Caza de Paz and we would come back for sure!

Jackie was an amazing host! She is very willing to help with any questions. She was fun to be with and lives close. The beach was beautiful and safe to swim in. We are a group of 4 couples and the space worked well for us. We highly recommend this property and will return.

The views and location to the beach are absolutely incredible. This place was perfect for our family. We enjoyed the open air concept. This place made our trip to Costa Rica even better. Highly recommend if you want to get away from the crowds but still be close to everything you need!!

We had a fantastic stay! The house was very comfortable and spacious for our group of 11. The pool and outdoor lounge area were perfect for relaxing, and the location was great—close to restaurants, with one beach within walking distance and others just a short drive away. The gated property and alarm system made us feel very safe. Highly recommend for a fun and stress-free getaway!

We had a fabulous day at Ben’s. We found Ben very available and easy to communicate with. The space was perfect for three of us. We enjoyed the cats daily visits and showing us where the cat food was kept by banging the door until we opened it lol . There was a water issue during our stay and Ben worked hard to resolve it and provided a temporary solution. Thank you, Ben. There are a few minor items that could use some repairs which I’m sure will be taken care of promptly. We would highly recommend staying at Ben’s place.

Tyler is an ideal host! He's very friendly, responsive, and helpful. We loved staying at this place for three main reasons. First, the gorgeous and cool outdoor kitchen and pool. The beach is awesome, but does get hot. Tyler's backyard oasis was so refreshing and it was very fun to cook outdoors and mingle with the other guests. Second, the lovely local hosts aka Tyler's in-laws. They were on-site during our visit and so very nice. Finally, we could easily walk to the beach and surf! We took one lesson, and then easily rented boards from Tyler for the reminder of our stay to hone our surfing skills. This is a great spot, and a place we hope to return! Thanks Tyler!
