Apartment vacation rentals in Guanacaste Province

This unit was perfect - it's off the main street, so it was quiet but walkable to everything. The property manager Jo Ellen was amazing - she was incredibly responsive and had great recommendations for things to do and local restaurants. Looking forward to returning!

A nice oasis in quiet Pelada, with a cool dipping pool in the middle of the two cabanas to share. We were lucky that we knew the other couple in cabana 2 but they were private enough that I don’t think it would have mattered if we didn’t. Close to Sunrise coffee which is great breakfast. We bought coffee and fresh fruit from the market and made breakfast smoothies every day while there. Highly recommend renting a golf cart or ATV to get around as, while the beach and Pelada restaurants are walkable, you will want the broader range to get to Guiones or old town Nosara. Place was modern and clean.

We loved staying at Casa Balbi! The stream running by it is absolutely enchanting and relaxing. The wildlife apparently likes to travel through there. In the morning we heard so much noise in the porch and thought the high winds were throwing the furniture around. We got up to check and found it to be capuchin monkeys playing and throwing the furniture around! It was quite an exciting experience! Be sure to keep the doors locked at all times! Oscar and his father Edilberto truly thought about all the things one needs to be comfortable. We greatly appreciated the extra blankets, towels, tea and coffee, and even an umbrella as it rains often in Monteverde. Oscar welcomed us and was incredible at communicating and helping us book tours/activities. Also, the bus stop is a 10 minute walk away which makes it easy to travel to many places. We loved our stay at Casa Balbi and highly recommend it!

The place was super very attentive and tidy.

The place is immaculate, and exactly as described. The yard is amazing.

Claudia was very communicative and helpful! The studio was very well equipped and we had a lovely afternoon by the beautiful pool. Very easy to get to and it felt very safe and quiet. It was perfect for our one night stop through!

There are only 2 washing machine and drier, one of each, and one pair is run through an app and one pair is run by a card provided by Marco but you have to go to the gate and load it for about $4 for 2 loads which is not bad but it's always busy and it's in a separate building by the pool.

Erica’s place was very nice and comfortable and safe. The deck was a perfect place to eat meals or read. I loved how close it was to the beach and shops and restaurants. If I ever return to Sámara I would definitely stay again.

My wife & I babymooned here. Beautiful house- very nice, feels new, and super clean. 5 minute walk to the Playa Guiones. Amazing private pool (soaked every day after the ocean) with jungle surroundings, sounds of the waves in the background, and frequent sightings of howler monkeys climbing through the trees around the property :) Fully loaded kitchen- we made breakfast and smoothies ourselves every morning & some other meals as well. Walking distance to all shops & restaurants, including multiple yoga locations, surf rental shops, etc.. Quick golfcart, bike, or car ride Garza & Pelada beaches. Private driveway for rented vehicles. Highly recommend!

The best part about this Airbnb is its proximity to the beach and restaurants. You’re a 3 min walk away from everything and roots cafe is right around the corner!

We had a great stay! The hosts brought us fruit and coffee. They even made us a wonderful breakfast! Great location.

We had a phenomenal stay here! We had a private balcony, large airbnb and access to all the amenities (tennis, pickle ball, pool, ice plunge). We were a less than 5 minute walk to the beach and local restaurants. There was no noise and the AC was amazing. Will definitely be staying here again

Lovely & Accommodating

Andres is a great host with lots of recommendations for us for nearby beaches. All of which were beautiful. We enjoyed the scenery and being tucked away in nature.

Amazing stay at the tree house. Hard to beat a jacuzzi on the porch with an ocean view. Colleen was always responsive and helpful in her recommendations. Close to good food options including the restaurant in the Del Mar community, highly recommend heading over there before sunset to enjoy the pool bar. The trails around the property and neighborhood are beautiful and there is a map, but we hit several forks in the road that weren't marked and didn't know which way to go. Not a big deal, but something to be mindful of when headed out there, and bring water.

Overall great place to stay! However, keep in mind that it does get a little noisy due to local bars with their music on the weekends. Provided beach towels and regular towels and a lockbox!

The Pacifico complex is a wonderful place to stay with your family. We also enjoyed the Beach Club for lunch (meal was fantastic) and afternoon. The rooms were all very nice and the kitchen was well stocked. The hosts also left some fresh fruit for us to enjoy. There is a grocery store in very close proximity for walking and restaurants nearby. We loved our stay!

We loved our stay. The surroundings were peaceful, the jacuzzi was a plus after a long hike and having the night tour next door was very nice. Would recommend.

I had a lovely stay at Lynzie's and Grahams beautiful studio. The views were breathtaking, and so peaceful. Soaking in the hot tub at night to the stars, and the moon reflecting light onto the ocean, was nothing short of magical. Lynzi and Graham were super accommodating and helpful. I think renting out both units upstairs and downstairs, would be ideal so that one or more people can maximize their quiet and privacy. I would definitely stay here again!

This is really a stunning place. What struck me most is the thoughtful design, everything designed or chosen to answer the question "what would make staying here memorable?" The large comfortable bed is raised, I believe so the views from it are the most optimal. The building is placed so that it is open to a 180 degree view but at the same time absolutely private. Lights to and from the house come on just when needed. The shower is the best we've experienced, with lots of hot water and good pressure and the prettiest tiles AND view, making it also a lot of fun. And of course the hot tub, perfectly placed for views and sun. The location is excellent; 15 minutes away from a number of good restaurants and slightly more to parks. We held our breath when driving over the upturned, embedded rocks on the last 700 meters of the drive there but we never got a flat tire and never needed a 4 wheel drive. Highway 606 is of course paved and in excellent condition.
