Jessie's Hut

ConstantinRating, 5 stars3 days ago
The cabin was very neat, welcoming and warming. We really enjoyed our stay there. We came with our Rottweiler and we had very beautiful places to walk her and to get her tired 😄 we found everything we needed in the cabin and even if you’re missing on something there are big shops in the near village or ask the owner, he will do everything to help you

Lake District Modern Static Caravan sleeps 6

BarbaraRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I had a great stay! The caravan immediately felt like home. It was very clean, warm, really cosy and had everything I might have needed. The park itself is very quiet, a very pleasant place. The Lakes are not far away, I did some amazing walks! The beach is only a few minutes away by car. Bigger shops like Lidl are about 15 minutes away by car, very easy to get to. The internet signal was very good and the bed was very comfy. Carmen was an amazing host, always responsive and very helpful. Thank you very much, Carmen. I would definitely stay again.

Dobbin the horse box in The Lake District

JennieRating, 5 stars15 months ago
dobbin was a lovely quirky place to stay in. As a family of 3 we had everything we needed, there was an outside play area with various toys for our 8 year old to play with. the surroundings were beautiful, peaceful and out of the way but only a short car drive to various places. The hosts were really friendly and helpful, they couldn't do enough for us. we had a great time and didn't want to leave 🙂

The Horsebox

ChelseaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
It was exactly what I needed! It was peaceful with no signal and stunning surroundings. I sat out in the evening and looked at the stars because the only light you see of an evening is from the lodge over the lake so its a clear view of the sky. Amanda and Berbs where great and even lit the fire for my arrival. The staff at the lodge where also very welcoming and friendly!

BethRating, 5 stars28 months ago
Thank you so much to Gary and family for a perfect stay, we wanted something different for my best friends birthday and it was so lovely! Gary was so helpful from the beginning, even put out banners and prosecco for when we arrived, we loved being surrounded by the animals and the view from the adorable caravan was so relaxing. So much thought and care was put into every single aspect of our stay and we will definitely recommend to our friends and family, we hope to come back at some point soon :)

Tilly our B&B retro caravan.

FionaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
an absolutely beautiful little caravan, lots of thoughtful details in a private area on their land. Karen was a fantastic host, she had thought of everything before we got there, the heater was on, milk, tea and coffee available, adding to that instantly homely feeling. She had even advised ahead of arrival about activities on over the weekend we may like. Breakfast in the morning was out of this world, fresh local produce, beautifully prepared. An absolutely wonderful little stay, will definitely return, beautiful place, beautiful peoples.

Howgills Hideaway Bell Tent

JessicaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Once again Howgills hideaway has not failed to amaze. This is our happy place, where we reset and forget about the hussle and bussle of life for a minute. Back to nature, with the fields for the children to run until their hearts are content. While us adult sit back with a brew in hand, while pondering out upon the breathtaking views with nothing but the sound of nature and giggles of children making new friends away from technologies. There are beautiful walks for the family and pooches to take in the magnificent surroundings of rolling hills. When evening falls and its time to get cozy! The fire gets lit and the darkness creeps in. Make sure you look up at the sky ( hoping you have a clear night) the stars will take your breath away. The accommodation is perfect everytime. Always clean, bed are comfy, wash facilities are amazing, they even have a shower for the dogs if they get a bit mucky on their adventures. I could go on forever but the conclusion is we love this place so much❤

Bluebell Wood Glamping

JaneRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Our stay as a family of 4 was fabulous. Heather was very welcoming and friendly and gave clear instructions on where to meet on arrival and how to get in touch. The tent was spacious, well laid out, smelled amazing and very comfortable. There was lots of space for our stuff and extra blankets etc if needed. We were able to try the milk from the farm and Heather was very kind to the kids to let them see the cows at the farm - the highlight of the holiday for them! The BBQ, fire pit and pizza oven were all spotless. We were treated to nesting buzzard displays and saw loads of wildlife round the site. A great base for families visiting Beamish museum as we did. I’d recommend definitely taking a gas stove as we did for hot water for washing and dishes. Thanks for a great stay.
