Absolutely wonderful! Gabriel was super responsive and made the check in and check out process super straightforward. The place isn’t right in the center of the city, but it’s walkable and much more quiet/peaceful. I would highly recommend the stay for anyone looking to stay in Merida :)

This place was absolutely perfect for my very first Airbnb experience, and especially great as a solo female traveler who does not speak Spanish. I never once felt unsafe- lots of security, always friendly workers around. I was provided everything I could have needed whenever I asked (paper towels, tp, etc). Great internet, ac, tv, hot water shower, soap, hammock, filtered water on tap, lots of bodegas close by for drinks and snacks. Beautiful quiet neighborhood and close enough to walk daily to centro if you can handle the heat- otherwise bus is just a couple blocks away. I really lucked out with this one. The only thing I would warn about is there is quite a bit of noise during the day, as it is above a working deli, so maybe not ideal if you are staying there to work on computer, but I was just there to hang so it worked out great for me. Thanks guys! 💕

Ale was a fantastic host! She was super responsive, generous with recommendations, and made sure I had the best experience possible. The place is beautiful and tastefully decorated, with a comfortable bed, an amazing shower, and a deep pool that I absolutely loved. It’s right in the heart of Mérida, surrounded by restaurants, cultural activities, local commerce, and easy transportation options. Be ready for an authentic downtown colonial experience—lively, vibrant, and full of character. The kitchen was well equipped (even though I didn’t use it much), and Ale kindly placed water and local treats to enjoy. I had a wonderful stay and am already looking forward to coming back!

Beautiful, spacious, well restored and furnished colonial home with original tile floors and very high ceilings throughout. Full of character. The courtyard with plunge pool was private, comfortably furnished and beautifully landscaped, full of lush greenery - it was a total gem, just a delightful oasis to spend time relaxing out there. The only downside to the house was that it was on a busy street and it could be noisy at times in the front rooms ( not too bad in the courtyard or bedroom.) But that is the trade off for a great location so close to downtown. Would highly recommend this home and would definitely stay there again if ever visting Merida.
