The shabbin is a unique stay and for two people is a great experience. Loved the way it is set up on the inside, and the secluded feel yet short drive to town.

Beautiful place to stay, able to see the northern lights from there!

Place was as described, even had a little welcome sign with my name on it 🥹. Had games, coloring books. I had to write a research paper, so I didn’t have time to play or color but, I was tempted. It was perfect.

Came down for the Oosik (iykyk!) and Larry's place was the perfect place to stay. Just outside of town in a very peaceful, private, and relaxing setting. Larry and Danielle were great hosts ready to lend a hand and share tips and recommendations as needed. The space of course was amazing and the the house perfectly matched the description with a great kitchen and wonderful wood stove. If you're a local or a tourist you will find Larry's place to suit all of your needs in talkeetna. I would (and hopefully will) stay here again!

Altho I did not communicate with Allison directly in regards to the stay, I did communicate with Katia who provided me with all the info I needed and timely updates. This is our second time staying at the Surfshack and it is a great location for a cozy haven after a long day of kayaking!

Great space- we loved the area. Close to Talkeetna. It was awesome to have a kitchen and laundry by the end of my stay. Would recommend and stay again!

we had a wonderful time and the cabin was well stocked. Great surroundings overall a beautiful setting, forest surroundings, but all the amenities.

Elli's cabin was perfect. It was just as described and pictured in the listing. My son and I felt right at home. It had everything we needed, including extra blankets to wrap ourselves up in and sit on the porch, sipping hot chocolate, while enjoying the sounds of the night. It was so peaceful. Elli was the perfect host; she was very responsive and even offered us a late check out since our flight didn't leave until midnight on check out day. Check in instructions were easy and she provided us with some great local recommendations of things to do on our day off. It was the perfect cabin for our 3-night stay. It'll be hard to find a place in Fairbanks that is more comfortable and nicer equipped. If/when we return to Fairbanks, we'll definitely return. Thanks so much for having us, Elli!!

I have stayed here before and would again. it suits my needs is accessible to town.

Such a cute, clean and cozy cabin. Great escape, very quiet, nice hot tub and porch. The lights are charming and the loft space is great for kids. We’ll be happy to return in the future!

Aside from the slanderous sticker in the gift shop (haha), I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I had cabin 1 and it was very cozy.

Awesome place has everything you need and awesome location!

Perfect location to break up a long drive across Alaska. It was a few minutes from the main road and ten minutes away from plenty of food options. Cabin had all the essentials!

great stay, cabin was easy to find with host directions, the area felt very private, bathroom and kitchen were very comfortable for the cabin's size. adjustable/pull out sofa downstairs was a great addition. would recommend a stay with Alaina

We ended up staying in both cabins when we added an extra night and they’re both wonderful! The instructions provided to get to the cabin were super clear and easy to follow. The host sent things to do ahead of time which was great and continued to be super responsive throughout the stay. This is the perfect place to stay for Denali as you’re in nature, surrounded by trees and views and very private while still not far from town and the park. The space was great for three of us. There’s a mini fridge, kettle, microwave, and coffee maker and then cups, coffee pods, tea, cream, and sugar/sweeteners provided. And a corkscrew! No wifi, but both Verizon and AT&T service is strong. We loved our stay here and would stay here again in the future! Highly recommend

Place was great and very cozy!

Cozy little cabin in a beautiful setting. Hosts were very, very nice and very accommodating. Pet friendly is a huge plus for me, and my husky pup loved making a new friend!! Mike even brought out some snacks for me and said goodbye this AM before I hit the road. 10/10 would recommend if this is your style. Excellent romantic retreat! Very relaxing place with hot tub. Nice Alaskan rustic fixtures and decor. The views are amazing, and it's nice to be a few minutes away from town while still close enough to stores and restaurants.

We had a great stay at the Bear Valley Cabin! Great location, amazing views of the mountains, and had everything we needed. Definitely would stay here again!

Such a great experience! Definitely a recommendation to everyone! It's a very cute, comfy, cozy cabin stuffed with everything you need - BBQ grill with charcoal and starting fluid, spices, kitchenette, coffee and tea. I really appreciate the cleanliness, especially of the fridge. Not a standard with AirBnBs. The communication was quick and friendly and Marshall made sure we had an easy checkin and a great experience. But the cherry on top was the firewood for a little campfire.

We really enjoyed our quick overnight stay from Anchorage. Affordable, adorable and had everything we needed. Bre was very responsive and friendly! My 13 year old daughter was ready to move in and said “I could totally live here Mom!”
