Trailer Glamping with Sweeping Volcano Views!

TomRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Staying in the Wilma camper was such a treat. Sitting on our porch at night we overlooked incredible wildflowers, then the pines silhouetted against the beautiful sunset with the mountains. It was better than we imagined. Staying in the camper was easy. Everything is organized, easy to find, and there are empty cupboards to store your things in. The refrigerator is plenty big with a freezer for our water bottles. There were pots and pans to cook in and the hot water was instant. There’s a little heater to heat the floor in the morning. the Wi-Fi was fast and easy to access. The bed was extremely comfortable and you overlook the Mountain View from your bed. They have mowed paths-throughout the property so you have on-site trails to take surrounded by wildflowers. This really was the most peaceful, comfortable, relaxing place to stay. It felt especially good after our 30,000 steps at glacier Bay Lake hikes. Swell taco in Homer is delicious, especially ceviche! And then ice cream.

Willow AK Glamp & Camp

FaithRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Overall, we had a nice/fun stay at Destiny’s! The place was clean, and quiet! The s’mores and hot tub were a nice touch! Destiny was very communicative and was quite helpful when we had to deal with some technical issues with Airbnb. The only issue for us was that the hot tub was too close to the host’s residence. The camper was not very far either, it was within earshot/eye-view of the host’s house so it did not feel very private or secluded. Although, this was the case, it should be noted that the hosts were very quiet, and respectful! Thank you kindly for your hospitality!

Close to historic downtown Palmer & Fairgrounds!

StarlaRating, 5 stars7 months ago
I planned a weekend getaway for our anniversary, with activities at the fair. This was the perfect place walking distance to one of the gates. It was clean and homey making it ice to just chill relax. The area was great for walking our two dogs and letting them run around. We will definitely think about coming back next year 😁

The Buskin camper in Kodiak AK

SelinaRating, 5 stars8 months ago
This was a really fun camping trip on Kodiak island. Couldn’t have gone smoother. Meg had the camper set up, ready, and stocked (gas/propane/wood) in the Buskin camp where we wanted it. Site 11 was big and private! Bathroom was near by and so was the water, but the coast guard shut it off so there is no water at all in the camp. This was our biggest challenge. With 5 of us (almost all adults) we ran out of water pretty quick. We had to buy a ton of water jugs for dishes and drinking, which sucked. We showered at one of my friend’s places one day. The laundromat is gnarly, expensive, and only open 3 days a week. It did the job though. Half the machines were broken. $4 a wash and 25 cents for 7 min to dry. There were other things that were not provided that would’ve been useful while camping. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely rent again!

I loved my stay in the retro camper. It’s so cute on the inside. Plenty of room & storage space. It was nice & quiet at night. Only a quick 5 minute drive to the main Seward area. Love the fact that they are dog friendly here! Makes it so much more fun for me (and my dog) to be able to bring her on my adventures:)

Great View of Island Lake. 20 PRIVATE acres. Quiet

ChelseaRating, 5 stars7 months ago
My stay here was magical. It was the right amount of rustic with all the comforts of home. The view of the lake and sunsets was tranquil. The place stayed warm even on the coldest night. The place was clean and comfortable. The host was respectful and responsive with lots of recommendations on local activities. We were able to use the community pool and gym, which was included and so great on the rainy days. If you have kids make sure to take them to the community pool! We were by some great fishing spots too. I would come back and stay here again and again.

Garden property with a beautiful view lake & Mtns

Ilce YolandaRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We enjoyed this place so much! Amy it's such a sweet hearth and so helpful. She brought us some pie and pastry for breakfast the first day. She also help us arrange some kayaks with her neighbors, we took around 2 hrs kayaking the lake, which was empty and beautiful. The neighbord told us he saw moose on his property early in the morning, sadly we did not see any. The RV has everything we needed and more, cooking essentials, extra beddings, heating, hot shower, stove, etc. The dinner table was nicely arrange by the time we arrived. nWe had a lovely time here, we were able to rest and also do some outdoor activities, most of the land around is private property but is perfect to walk around.

Camper AK Getaway

Would definitely stay again. What a charming place! We immediately felt comfortable and just what we needed. Jodi told us main heat was out but it was more than warm and cozy with the electric fire place & small safe heater!! Everything was clean, with fresh linens & towels. Just a note that the pullout couch, even with a topper, isn't really comfortable for an adult. It is a well laid out camper and easy to use!! Wifi was great and TV was easy to use as well.

Come Glamp with us at Camp Starlight, Eleanor!

Dr. James A.Rating, 5 stars9 months ago
Kathi - in a word - was PHENOMENAL!!!! ALL of your needs - even the ones that you haven't thought of yet will have already been met. Case-in-point, the initial morning, I'm shuffling around inside the space, and I slightly admonish myself, "Man! You should have packed your moccasins!" I look into a corner that I hadn't looked at before, and there's the 2-handled container that states, "slippers". Kathi was absolutely the best! Highly, highly recommended!

Lulu and Nugget are the best! Awesome place in a beautiful setting along the Knik River. I had a great one night stay in a comfy little trailer named Hope. Per Lulu’s recommendation I hiked the West Butte Trail to the top of Bodenburg Butte and it was spectacular. An enjoyable stay!
