Sven and staff were great, super friendly! Had the camping vibes while still being within the city! very close to a lot of different things! Tent was super clean and plenty of room. The whole place was welcoming. Will definitely stay again when I go back to Fairbanks!

The trailer was clean and organized and ready for us. Chris and Shelly run a professional campground and they really care about the property and their guests. Communication was quick and they are more than happy to answer questions and help in any way they can.

This was a really fun camping trip on Kodiak island. Couldn’t have gone smoother. Meg had the camper set up, ready, and stocked (gas/propane/wood) in the Buskin camp where we wanted it. Site 11 was big and private! Bathroom was near by and so was the water, but the coast guard shut it off so there is no water at all in the camp. This was our biggest challenge. With 5 of us (almost all adults) we ran out of water pretty quick. We had to buy a ton of water jugs for dishes and drinking, which sucked. We showered at one of my friend’s places one day. The laundromat is gnarly, expensive, and only open 3 days a week. It did the job though. Half the machines were broken. $4 a wash and 25 cents for 7 min to dry. There were other things that were not provided that would’ve been useful while camping. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely rent again!

I loved my stay in the retro camper. It’s so cute on the inside. Plenty of room & storage space. It was nice & quiet at night. Only a quick 5 minute drive to the main Seward area. Love the fact that they are dog friendly here! Makes it so much more fun for me (and my dog) to be able to bring her on my adventures:)

Great little spot for some pre set up camping, which was great for us as we travelled with our toddler. Queen bed was super comfortable and the tent was watertight. Everyone was helpful and friendly, It is a bit of a walk from the town but beautiful surroundings.

My stay here was magical. It was the right amount of rustic with all the comforts of home. The view of the lake and sunsets was tranquil. The place stayed warm even on the coldest night. The place was clean and comfortable. The host was respectful and responsive with lots of recommendations on local activities. We were able to use the community pool and gym, which was included and so great on the rainy days. If you have kids make sure to take them to the community pool! We were by some great fishing spots too. I would come back and stay here again and again.

This tent was a great place to stay. I stayed 6 nights, and the buddy heater plus ample blankets did a fantastic job of keeping me warm. Trust me, the buddy heater on the high setting alone is enough to almost make you too hot. Even at the end of august with lows at almost freezing, I was comfortable within a few minutes of turning the heater on. The bed is spacious and comfortable, too. The kitchenette and provided items are very nice and helpful, and I didn't miss having access to running water. There are plenty of cooking items, plus provided coffee grounds, creamer, sugar, etc. You really don't need to bring much besides food and a bath towel. There is even a cooler available and, in my case, extra water. All said and done, I would choose to stay here again. It was a lovely location that was well maintained and comfortable. Emily also was kind enough to ship me back a few items I accidentally left behind. These are great hosts!

Great location for our fishing trip and was easy to access local fishing areas in the river.

Harlan is a wonderfuly kind host. The accommodations were clean and even stocked up with cleaning supplies so i could keep the enviroment nice during my stay. I found Harlan to be a good communicater and was very pleased in his interest in what i was doing as well as encouraging ( i was going to school to aquire my CDL). I would return to his place for recreation and to catch up with him as a friend. Simply a wonderful experience with a real gentleman for a host.

This is a great place near the Kenai to be able to use for sleep and relaxing while fishing. The host is very nice and welcoming and has big plans for this location in the near future. I wish him luck. Thanks!

Robert’s place was exactly what we needed. I was able to stay in for a day while my dad fished. After driving all the way from the lower 48, it was a comfy place to pause. Robert is a super great host! Highly recommend him!

Location! Location! Location! Very beautiful property located only a few minutes from the McCarthy foot bridge. The tent was beautiful and located a few hundred feet from the river. The sound of the flowing water was great for sleeping. Common kitchen, wash area and toilet were very clean. This place is a gem and we will come back. Denise communicated well with me from the time of booking. She is a great host!

We enjoyed this place so much! Amy it's such a sweet hearth and so helpful. She brought us some pie and pastry for breakfast the first day. She also help us arrange some kayaks with her neighbors, we took around 2 hrs kayaking the lake, which was empty and beautiful. The neighbord told us he saw moose on his property early in the morning, sadly we did not see any. The RV has everything we needed and more, cooking essentials, extra beddings, heating, hot shower, stove, etc. The dinner table was nicely arrange by the time we arrived. nWe had a lovely time here, we were able to rest and also do some outdoor activities, most of the land around is private property but is perfect to walk around.

excellent stay! the place was very clean and had everything needed for our stay. they left spices, cooking utensils, paper goods and more to make sure we had everything. they were very responsive whenever we had a question, we felt right at home! we traveled with small children, and the camper was very roomy and a great time for them!

Location was easy to find. Pretty clean on the inside. Had a friend cat that came and visited us. Bed was comfortable and the shower was pretty good.

Kyle was an attentive host. The camper was exactly as described, well stocked, well organized, very clean. Kyle communicated well, and even helped us program the TV so we could watch our daughter’s college volleyball game on YouTube. Kyle created an online list of his favorite restaurants/shops/attractions in the area. We walked to dinner at the Matanuska Brewery and had the Poke Nachos that Kyle recommended. Yum! It was the nicest camper I’ve stayed in. I find most camper mattresses too hard for my hip arthritis and usually bring a thin blow up camping mat to slide under the foam mattress. But I forgot it this trip. The bedding was so cozy that I almost stayed in the bed anyway, but it was a bit too hard for me so I moved to the couch. The couch was super comfy!! My son said he slept great on the bunk. We appreciate Kyle keeping the cleaning cost down and the clear cleaning instructions and supplies he provided. I was happy to do my part to leave the camper clean. Thanks Kyle.
