An absolutely idyllic place to stay. Beautiful peaceful surroundings and wonderful walks from the cottage. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and very comfortable. Lovely beds and linen. A spacious yet cosy holiday home with lovely decorative touches. The view out of the back of the cottage is fabulous. Feels a million miles away from anyone but actually very close to Ripon and local attractions. Shanie and Tom are welcoming and friendly hosts, yet left us in peace while staying. The welcoming touches to settle in and the information pack provided were really excellent. We also enjoyed using the garden and play area which was fine for kicking a ball around in! Thank you for a lovely few days. I would love to return and would definitely recommend.

Perfect place for 3 old colleagues and partners to get together for a day at the races. House was perfect.

Sarah is a brilliant host, and black lab Beau also gorgeous. We had sole use of a bathroom and were able to use the kitchen facilities. Sarah was really quick at responding to all questions. I had visited with my daughter in order for her to attend the U17 driving week with Pathfinder at the Seighford driving centre, and it was only 10 mins away.

My stay at Foxt Cottages was nothing short of spectacular! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, with rolling hills and lush greenery providing the perfect backdrop for a relaxing escape. The private swimming lake was a highlight, offering serene views and a refreshing dip right at our doorstep. The cottage itself was cozy, clean, and well-equipped, making it easy to unwind. For our little one, the activities were a hit—plenty of outdoor fun to keep them entertained while we soaked in the peaceful vibe. The hosts were warm and attentive, ensuring every detail was perfect. If you’re looking for a tranquil retreat with stunning landscapes and family-friendly amenities, Foxt Cottages is a must-visit! We’re already planning our next stay.

Gorgeous little house, super warm and cosy, lovelyand clean too. Excellent communication from the host and very easy check in. My eldest is epileptic so being able to park on the drive right outside was a big bonus for us incase we had to get him inside post seizure. A million times better than 4 of use trying to sleep in one hotel room. I'm sure we'll be back especially as rhe host accepts dogs too x

Not enough words to express how perfect this place was. Booked it for a work bonding weekend and it was the perfect setting. Great host communication, lots of condiments at hand, wellies left, beautiful outdoor bath and birds. Just heaven

Highly recommend! Everything about this Airbnb is perfect! Jonathon was very helpful and friendly, recommending local walks and hikes. My friends and I really enjoyed the kayaking on the lake that Jonathon offered. The Location was perfect with beautiful views and being on the water front. It was the ideal place for our first time in the Lake District!! ⭐️

My kids love the Swallows and Amazons books so to be able to stay here was truly like being in a storybook. The accommodation itself was a great balance between keeping the old world charm but with a modern touch. We came in winter and it was great, we hope to be back one year in summer.

Spacious and comfortable. Granary Cottage was equipped with everything we needed and Phil, the host was so helpful and friendly. Ideally located for wonderful local pubs and further afield to York and surrounding area. Will definitely be back

Highly recommend the cottages. You will have all you require for a comfortable stay. Great for pets, super walking space and the bonus of being able to purchase fresh eggs. The air display from RAF Leeming is fantastic. Super choice of games to use and great pub with amazing food just down the road which is also pet friendly too. Lovely places to visit nearby.

We would 100% recommend staying here. It was so beautiful and relaxing and we will absolutely want to come back again in the future. The place was gorgeous, views were beautiful, the pub ‘The Fenwick’ was lovely we walked to and from. Loved the chickens who stayed right by our side the whole stay! Just amazing. Thank you for an incredible break!

A girls night away in the cabins and we wanted to stay forever longer! When we arrived we were so shocked by how stunning it was, so quiet with only the sound of the river and the most stylish cabins and good sized hot tub. It had everything we could've needed and a very high tech air fryer. Anthony was very responsive and friendly and came out in the evening to fix a lightbulb for us. The hot tub was beautifully clean and a lovely temperature. I have sent links to all my friends and family because you must see this place! Thank you so much, and we will be back! Xx

I loved my stay at Riverside Cabins it was beautiful and peaceful and everything we needed! We are going to make this our annual anniversary because it’s just everything you need for a romantic stay! It was so clean there was absolutely no faults what so ever!

We stayed at Riverside Cabins as a surprise for my husband's birthday. From the time of booking, with help to have balloons in the cabin prior to our arrival, to organising the hot tub to warm up quicker as we were only staying for 1 night, everyone was so friendly, accommodating & extremely helpful! I couldn't recommend this place enough! The location is no more than perfect! It was a freezing cold night (-2 i think) which gave us the beautifully clear skies on which to view the stars from the hot tub. I couldn't think of a better place to have been on such a perfect night! Luckily we live local so will definitely be staying again and I have already recommended Riverside Cabins to my family and friends. The cabin was clean, warm and cosy, well equiped & beautifully decorated with a very comfy bed. Loved it! I would say more but I'm running out of the allocated number of characters! Quick you need to book before you miss out on experiencing such a perfect location! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful property. Will definitely be back as we loved it so much. The lodge was perfectly clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub was absolutely amazing! Stunning lodge, big private garden and beautiful, quiet surroundings. Easy check in and check out too. Host is helpful and responsive. 10/10 stay!

An amazing stay for our Easter weekend getaway! The location is beautiful, waking up overlooking the lake was a daily high. The cabin was extremely spacious and clean - the photos for us didn’t quite do it justice - and the hot tub is well maintained. The only minor things I would comment on would be that the welcome pack is very basic for a 5* stay and that the hot tub maintenance gentleman came to empty the hot tub an hour before check-out on our last day, coming onto the cabin decking without notice. But overall, amazing stay, we’d do it again!

This is an excellent place. Anthony has gone to exceptional lengths to make this the kind of place that he himself would have wanted to holiday in. The grounds are vast, the chalets are well spaced out, there is a sense of real peace and tranquility - the sound of running water from the nearby river, birds chirping, nearby woodland, stand up paddle boards and sit on canoes available to borrow free of charge to meander down the river with. The accommodation itself is very well thought out and very good quality. Even in the compact chalet which we were in there was a large walk in shower and plenty of covered space outside in which we could have our meals and relax. Hot tub is well maintained and was already warmed for our arrival. We came here to have a base from which to take part in the Ultimate Triathlon at Ellesmere. We'll certainly come back and stay here again next time.

We have just returned from our Easter break at this beautiful lodge, the pictures don't do this place justice, it's beautiful, absolutely spotless and has everything you could need and more. We had use of the kayak which was brilliant fun and the surroundings are just stunning. The Host are great people and were quick to answer any questions I asked, they had a hamper waiting for us which was so generous of them. We would definitely return in the future to explore more of the beautiful sights as it's in a perfect location 30 mins from Lake Windermere and about 25 mins from Morecambe Bay. 5 Stars from us. Thanks again
