Chalet vacation rentals in Yorkshire

It was delightful...the chalet was perfect and really well appointed...we had great weather too was a bonus...we were having such a great time we stayed an extra night..will definitely be back!!

The pictures are what sold me on this place but the other reviews are right when they say the pictures don't do it justice! The place is amazing in a lovely quiet, secluded area, right next to a river but, at the same time, it's within walking distance of anything you need. It's the perfect place for a quiet vacation away from everything or a hub to experience a lovely little city and surrounding area. On top of all that, Daria was on point with her local recommendations, and her helpful instructions to find the place as well as the few necessities she left for us made the whole experience the best it could have been. Can't recommend this place enough.

What a lovely place! There were 7 of us staying here in total and each of us said what a fabulous place it is, the pictures don’t do it justice! Rooms are spacious and clean, the kitchen/living area was open plan and sociable and the setting was beautiful. We spent one afternoon in and around the hot tub overlooking the garden and scenery with the sun on us all day and it was the perfect place to completely relax and unwind. We also got a taxi into Durham city centre which was only £12 in total so not far at all but you feel like you’re way out in the countryside. Kaye was also a great host and very responsive to any questions in the lead up to our stay. Overall, a 5 star experience. Thank You! x

We had a relaxing weekend and the lodge was well equipped and great it was dog friendly! The hot tub was excellent and particularly nice in the dark evenings with clear skies and the song of owls!

Just got back from an amazing weekend in Sycamore Lodge. We were a party of 5 and the lodge was perfect. Felt very luxurious, everything was spotlessly clean and the lodge had everything we needed. Hot tub was private and peaceful, and was well maintained. Hot tub comfortably fit everyone. Plenty of parking too. Had a fantastic stay, will definitely be back and will be recommending to family and friends!

Had a great stay at high oaks. We all really enjoyed it. Location is perfect and nice and quiet, cabin was very clean and tidy and spacious. Will definitely come back xxx

Such a lovely relaxing girls weekend away. Oak Lodge was better than we expected. Spotless inside and perfect location with lovely views. Amazing space with complimentary robes and slippers which was a lovely surprise.

Really friendly host who met us at the property and suggested some local pubs and restaurants. Good location for Pocklington and York.

we all had a blast staying here. Would definitely return. We stayed in spa sensations: and it was amazing, so spacious and clean, had so many amazing qualities such as: hot tub,sauna, pool table and more. Safe to say we never went bored. Check in was super easy I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a hot tub get away. Thank you.

The boathouse helped us to reminisce about years gone by when we had many a trip to Cleethorpes and Thorpe park when our children were young. The Boathouse was gorgeous, quaintly decorated and with extras such as the log burner and hot tub. We had an amazing 2 night break and will no doubt be back. The hosts were extremely responsive and professional. Thank you for a great relaxing 2 days...

What a beautiful place, we stayed for 2 nights for my boyfriend’s birthday and would absolutely recommend! Stunning views, very peaceful, perfect for a quiet getaway. The staff were friendly and helpful and the owners left lots of helpful information on things to do in the area. Definitely worth the price and would stay here again! Thank you for having us!

We stayed at Sand Le Mere for a short stay as we were having a new kitchen fitted and needed to move out of our home. Coastal Caravan Holidays are simply exceptional hosts. We had a wonderful stay, a beautiful lodge exactly as pictured. The park was very peaceful. Fab location to Bowness & Ambleside. Highly recommend and we will be back 😊

Absolutely gorgeous place. We loved being on the lake and and having access to it. Vanessa gave loads of recommendations and communicated well. Pictures matched the place. Wouldn't hesitate going back.
