Island Views Hale

DevinRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We have stayed here before. The host is very responsive whenever I reach out. The place is in a nice neighborhood. Safe to go for a walk or a run. Beds are comfortable and has all necessities. Most likely will be back in town for work in the future and will be staying here if available.

Big House with ocean view and private pool in Kona

DavidRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Chelsea was out of town yet was immediately responsive to messages dealing with a couple of minor glitches; it helped that the owner lives nearby. Place overall was great. Lack of air conditioning (it was not hot, but the upstairs did warm up in the April afternoons) was offset by the private pool, a better way to cool off than by refrigerating the house. Nice layout for two couples, one upstairs with the larger bedroom and large en suite bath, the other downstairs with two smaller bedrooms and a bath, so we each had good private space. Only drawback was the downstairs rooms seemed a bit enclosed, although all had windows. Nice large lanai and the landscaping around the pool made it feel especially private. Be sure to investigate the pantry and shelves before shopping...the place was very well supplied when we arrived. We would definitely stay again if we're in Kona!

Private Pool - 180° Ocean View - Minutes to Beach

TakudzwaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
This was the best first Airbnb experience. We were celebrating our 10-year anniversary with our 3 young kids. This home was just beautiful. The photos do not do enough justice. The home was super spacious and TV in both rooms. Our 5yr old enjoyed the jacuzzi because it was shallow and warm. The pool was huge with a diving board. It was nice having the outdoor kitchen and grill. We were able to prepare our food while also watching the kids swim. We enjoyed her papayas, avocados, and mango. Ms. Sandra shared with us her organic eggs from her chickens, Kale, beets, basil, and lettuce from her garden. Every morning when I woke up, I couldn't wait to open the curtains and windows to see the view and hear the birds. I could go on and on about this place. Thank you Ms. Sandra. It was such a pleasure meeting you and spending time in you beautiful home🙏

Tiny House Hawaii

ArturoRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Marylin, Steve and Craig were wonderful hosts. As soon as we came onto the property we felt right at home and part of the family. We were greeted with fresh fruit from the beautiful garden and fresh baked banana bread. You are surrounded by a lush tropical garden and many floral bouquets are throughout the tiny home. Craig made us the best coffee and provided us with some local Ube baked goods. Our favorite part of the property was going to sleep with the sound of croaking frogs. This place is truly a little slice of heaven! Hopefully we can come again! ❤️

Ocean, Sunset, Pool, King's Luxury experience

StephenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What a fabulous place to stay just outside Kona - we absolutely loved this place (and so did our kids!) Really spacious with huge communal areas - it was great for our group size (4 adults and 3 kids). The pool was a delight, big, clean and with wonderful floats and beach towels. The house was really well equipped and we wanted for nothing (the essence of a truly great holiday rental). Comms from Alexey were super responsive and helpful leading up to and during our stay. The views for sunset were superb and will be a lasting memory of our trip. No concerns whatsoever our side - we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to other guests.

Oceanview Oasis + Pool + A/C

GarethRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Naomi’s place is beautiful, peaceful, and spacious. The lanai is an exotic and fun feature and the house is full of character. Tropical frogs serenade at night time while the morning starts with beautiful bird song and a view of the ocean. Meanwhile, beaches, restaurants, and shops are only a 5-10 minute drive away. When you stay in the house though, you feel as though you have escaped the hustle and bustle of day to day life. I stayed here with my wife, two young children, and in-laws. It was a fantastic time and I will always remember it!

Tropical paradise, heated pool, ocean views, AC

KaylaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
I recently stayed at Justin’s Airbnb in Kona, and it was an amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, Justin was incredibly welcoming, offering great recommendations for local activities and making sure we had everything we needed. The house itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, creating a perfect island retreat. One of the highlights was the pool – it was pristine and provided the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring the island. The outdoor area was fantastic, with plenty of seating, and we enjoyed several evenings watching the sunset from the lanai. The location in Kona was ideal, with easy access to beaches, dining, and shopping, yet the house felt like a private oasis. We felt truly at home during our stay and couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind. I highly recommend Justin’s place for anyone looking to experience the best of Kona in comfort and style!

2 Bedroom in the Kona Hills on a Coffee Farm

OksanaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We loved staying at Kendall’s place! It is beautiful, private, spacious, clean and has the most amazing panoramic view. My family agreed that it was the most beautiful view that we experienced as we were sitting outside and enjoying our breakfast and wildlife, such as wild pheasants, chameleons, geckos y to I name a few. The place is very clean and has high quality appliances. The beds and the couch were very comfortable, and the quality of the linen was great - high quality bamboo tensel, which is perfect goff ed the tropical climate. Plenty of towels as well! Beach towels are also of an excellent quality- dry very fast. Little things, such as long towel rack in the bathroom, plenty of shampoo and soap, added extra comfort. There are also four beach chairs and snorkeling gear. Kendall and his family were very kind and gracious hosts: helped us find the place, always responded to messages and answered questions. Coffee is amazing and reasonably priced- buy more! Highly recommend!

Palani Hale

KariRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The most well stocked home I have ever rented. From everything you need in a kitchen, to spices and condiments, a closet full of sunscreen, first aid items, etc. Most importantly, everything this family of four needed to spend the day at the beach. Beach chairs and umbrellas, boogie boards, snorkel kits, etc. House is just as described and close to everything in Kona. House was spotless upon arrival and had great decorative touches. Sheri and Gary are lovely hosts. Very responsive and welcoming. Thank you both for providing a home away from home for our family getaway! Mahalo!

Knox Dojo - Full House 2b/2b

Jackie Rating, 5 stars1 month ago
The home was clean and very inviting. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything we could have needed. The hosts were welcoming and available to answer questions but not intrusive. We didn't spend much time in the house except eating and sleeping - but it was nice to have a beautiful home away from home. Very lovely stay. Jack and Jackie, Lee and Christi

The Airbnb was a great place to relax and get some peace and quiet for our vacation. It was conveniently located within walking distance of the local farmers’ markets and a short drive from many great restaurants. I appreciate the host’s clear instructions and images to ensure a smooth check in, check out, and stay. I would definitely stay here again if I get the chance!

Wyndham Kona 2BR Condo for 6

JenniferRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Loved our stay! Walkable to town, gorgeous grounds, functional kitchen, friendly and helpful staff and large lanai for eating outdoors. The only issue we had was the internet kept going out (three times during our stay). The internet service provider for the resort is an external 3rd party so this isn’t something the property had control over. Each time we had to call the isp to have the internet restored, which they did.

Modern Upcountry Home with Mauna Kea Views

Wonderful place for our several days there. Fantastic view and very spacious. Several restaurants were in town. Waimea had few tourists but still was close to several small out-of-the-way towns we otherwise would not have thought of to visit.

Close to Airport & Beaches, Ocean View, Sleeps 6

SanjayRating, 5 stars1 month ago
An overall great fit for our needs. Things that could be improved -- 1) Although driveway was large enough to accomodate at least 1 add'l car, the rental only allowed street parking. The lack of access to driveway parking (which was somewhat understandable since house had up to 3 cars already congesting the driveway) could be problematic for renters and more importantly, seems like an annoyance for neighbors. We made it work , the adjacent neigbors were always awesome and friendly, and this policy may very well have been listed in the house description, but still it seems like accomodating a spot in driveway could make the place even better. 2) Renters should be made more aware about their surroundings --- with renters/owner on the first floor and tight confines of the Kaiminani neighborhood -- even though we were not a bunch of partiers, the likelihood of disturbing local neighbors seems high, esp when coming/going late and not on work schedules.

Ulu Tree Retreat

LindseyRating, 5 starstoday
This oasis made for the perfect getaway. With lush vegetation and sweeping ocean views, it was so peaceful to sit on the deck or at the dining room table and just enjoy the scenery after a long day of adventuring. Roaming chickens, cats and song birds frequented the property and chirping frogs made us feel like we were in a rainforest (closing the windows at night helped keep the chirping sound at a tolerable level for the lighter sleepers). Tons of beach gear was available for us to borrow - beach towels, chairs, boogie boards! Large kitchen was well stocked with the essentials.

PiH ~ Flora Paradise ~ Hilton Passes Included

NicoleRating, 5 stars13 months ago
This place is so wonderful! Peaceful neighborhood with lots in walking distance! Pools and hot tubs were great for us on cloudy days, and being walking distance to restaurants and snorkel spots, it was exactly what our family needed! The beds were comfortable (though I wish they had cotton sheets bc it gets a bit warm at night!), the backyard was great for kids, the garage is stocked with everything you could imagine needing for a beach/snorkel day. Jeff and Suzanne really thought of everything here, and it shows! And they happily accommodated our request to have no fragrance cleaning products, which, for a family with allergies, this was super important to us. We would book this again! We did have a few issues with the cleanliness of the dishwasher and washing machine, but they were so quick to address it and make efforts to make things right. This place is worth every penny and made our time in Hawaii really nice.

Waikoloa Treehouse 3 bed 2 bath

ElizabethRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a spectacular stay. The home is located near the best beaches on the big island as well as resorts if you want to grab a day pass. It’s located equally between Kona and Hilo with easy access to the north of the island. The home is stocked with everything you would need for an island vacation, with access to grocery stores and restaurants within five minutes. The longest trip was to the volcano, but we did it easily in a day trip. Jeff was very responsive and his listing is full of recommendations. I truly cannot recommend this home enough. If I could build a replica where I live, I would. It’s truly an oasis. My kids and I absolutely loved it. Jeff really thought of everything in the home that you would need. As a bonus, the internet was perfect for movies after a long day of adventures. There’s a beautiful sunset view from the deck and master, as well as a water fountain that is the best way to start and end the day. 100/10 stay!

We loved our stay at Benjamin's place and would definitely stay again in the future. The location was very convenient, close enough to town and to other beaches up the coast. The residence was very clean, comfortable, and spacious, there is work station for your laptop. It was very well stocked with everything you need from beach chairs , snorkels, fins, towels to baby monitors and board games. The outdoor furniture was also a great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful Hawaiian sunsets. Benjamin was a great host and checked in on us regularly to make sure our stay was perfect. Thank you!
