Very responsive host and even let us check in early. Very clean and safe neighborhood by the beach.

My friends and I stayed here for three nights. We hated to leave. This little cottage is so cozy and has everything you need for your stay. We plan to return in the spring so we can sit outside and use the grill. We have already spread the word to our neighbors….

Definitely found a gem with this listing, great space, close to the beach, clean, comfortable, and in a safe quiet neighborhood. Perfect for families. We had ZERO problems with the house or communications with the host. Will absolutely look to book this place again next year.

Responsive even before I booked. As pictured. Accommodated 5 of us very comfortably. Friends stayed one half block up I liked our place much better!

Our stay at Pip's was very comfortable. The rooms are well furnished without clutter..the kitchen and laundry facilities would make an extended stay possible. I did not mind and the climb to the third floor.

We had an amazing time here! The property is incredible and the home is beautiful with a number of amenities. The rooms are very tastefully decorated and the space itself is welcoming. The theater is AMAZING and we enjoyed it immensely. The home is pristine and comfortable. Anne was very welcoming and friendly. She was as extremely helpful and communicative. We can see this becoming “our place” when we visit Yorktown. Highly recommend!

It was nice to get to, and my trip was good. Unfortunately the day before I twisted my knee while packing for the trip, and was limping a bit. I was so hapoy to have happened to book on the first floor. There were 4 steps up to the front door and I was parked a bit far away, which I corrected when I was able, but when I arrived, some kind neighbors helped me with my bags up the steps. It was super peaceful and within a few days my knee was better. This was close to my Norfolk event, and it was really awesome to have a quick trip after some late parties. There was not much noise ever and the neighborhood was so sleepy we were surprised to find an event had blocked off and rerouted a few streets. It wasn't difficult to get around as there were lots of alternatives. Next time I hope to get on the ferry....with no injured knee. :) Great job from my host.

It was a super short stay for me, however, it was a great stay. Everything you could possibly need was available in the rental; even those necessities that often forgotten while packing like a toothbrush. The rental was very clean and very nicely decorated with it looking just like the photos, and the neighborhood is pretty quiet. The host was very quick to respond to messages, and really made the rental feel homey. I didn't get to take advantage of all of the fun extras, like the fire pit, smores supplies, and coffee fixings, but would gladly stay there again. Wonderful experience!

Our stay at Martina's place was pleasant. We made it to her place late and were cold. The apartment was not warm. The baseboard radiators took a bit of time to heat. The one in bedroom seemed to take longer than the main room did. The linen in this apartment smelled very refreshing. The warm water and water pressure in the shower were nice. The coffee and creamer were welcomed amenities the mornings we stayed. We braved the chill of the air to make the short walk across the street to the beach. It was beautiful. Very few people out because of the temperature that morning. I would stay here again when visiting the area.

My husband, 2 year old son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely townhouse! After a longgg car ride it was such a relief to have easy access into the home and walk into a spotless cozy environment! Our son felt right at home as well, which was a major relief, as this was the first time traveling with him. It was so easy to back your car right up to the door and unload the luggage too. The home is well equipped for majority of your needs only thing you might want to bring along (or purchase once you are there) is tissues and creamer for your coffee, if preferred. I would most definitely stay here again when visiting our family and recommend to anyone looking to travel to the area! Thank you Monica for helping us have a stress-free visit with our family!

I would recommend staying here in general, but this review is specifically to provide information for people who may find themselves in the situation I did of being from out of town and having a family member in the hospital for several days while needing to work remotely. It is a few minute drive to Sentara and the Children's Hospital. It is a walkable distance if needed. The apartment was comfortable and quiet, and the internet was excellent. I was able to do work remotely and manage video calls without any issue and able to get back and forth quickly to the hospital as needed.

Great Condo for what we needed. Dealing with the Dolphin Run staff was a little stressful in the beginning, but Pam helped us get what was needed. The kitchen worked perfect for cooking what we needed for Thanksgiving. The view is amazing and seeing the Dolphins out there playing every morning and evening was a bonus.

Gayle’s place was a great location to stay at with our dog!!! Great neighborhood to walk him in and the marina/beach is an added bonus! Gayle was very communicative and check in was easy. The space of the condo was great for a family and large dog! We will definitely be staying again!

Came down for a weekend, had a wonderful time exploring VA beach. Perfect location and excellent accommodations!

Great stay Ty

This was a very nice studio apartment, Rebecca and Sean did a wonderful job updating this unit. For the size of the unit, it had plenty of storage and extra amenities (fan, beach chairs, plenty of bath towels & dishes) We loved that the actual unit was oceanfront with a small deck - the building itself has a nice yard overlooking the beach with tables, chairs and loungers. The building is just north of the boardwalk, which I would consider they quieter end, but you still have all the conveniences of the boardwalk making it very easy to walk to so many restaurants along the beach. We definitely hope to rent this unit again!!

We had a fantastic time staying at Jamie & Crystal’s “Carolina on My Mind” condo at the Sanctuary in Sandbridge. The condo was spotless and well-equipped with everything we needed, from dishes and cookware to all the essential appliances. The beach was clean and uncrowded during our visit, making it a perfect vacation. We especially enjoyed the foosball table, which provided hours of fun for our family. There were also plenty of play toys and family games to keep everyone occupied. The location was ideal, with easy access to restaurants and grocery stores. Our only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer. We would definitely recommend Carolina on My Mind to our family and friends.

Kelly’s house was beautiful! The ocean view was absolutely stunning. The house was well-taken-care and everything functioned well.

Great little condo near the beach! Very clean and super cute. The bed was really comfortable but the living room furniture was apartment size, kind of small for taller folks like us. Highly recommend!
