3 bedroom private home a block from the beach!

JennRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Kate’s place was perfect for our family’s first trip to Norfolk! The beach is literally less than a 5 minute walk away. Her home is adorable and her neighbors are the sweetest people! My kids loved their little dog. We felt very comfortable in the house — very nice neighborhood and the home had everything we needed! We were very close to downtown as well. We will definitely be coming back if we make it back to Norfolk! Thank you Kate!

Brandon was an awesome host. The location is amazing. Really was great to walk to any nice restaurant, but you weren't located on the main street. Better than I could have imagined.

Oceanfront Getaway-Beach & Restaurants in VIBE!

NatashaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Our family of five had a fantastic stay at Sue’s Virginia Beach townhouse! The location was ideal—just a short 5-minute walk to the beach, with cute coffee shops and ice cream spots nearby. The home was spotless, well-stocked with plenty of towels, and the check-in/out process was easy. We loved that each bedroom had a TV, and while there are a lot of stairs, it wasn’t an issue for our group of teens and able-bodied adults. The two bikes and pool table in the garage were a big hit with our family. Sue was responsive and helpful, even offered a great outing recommendation for our last day. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again.

Sojourn Guest House: Buckroe Beach Suite B

ThaisRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Had a little staycation in hampton. I wanted something close to the beach (buckroe) and my massage/ reiki appt. Maia’s place was the perfect little spot to lay my head. The beach was even within walking distance and when I went, I saw some dolphins which was pretty cool. I went with Maia’s place after seeing the other reviews of how clean it was, I’m happy to say everything was accurate in Maia’s pictures and how other folks described it. It was nice having hosts that were intentional about thinking from the guests pov, even going as far to make a video for check in instructions to avoid any confusion. Every thing was clean, the hosts clean the carpets after each use and asks guests to take off shoes in bed area. Bathroom was spotless. They even had a couple board games/ uno for guests. Lots of closet space. The level of consideration felt like a hotel room without the hotel costs. Hosts responded quickly if we had questions. I would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our long Easter weekend at Nataly’s 1st floor apartment in Virginia Beach! Great location:quiet, private, pretty backyard with nice deck, outside shower, and view of the water & lots of animal entertainment: Herons,Egrets,Mallards, fish, squirrels and 1 possum at night! 😆 The apartment is perfect for 2 people: Very Clean, comfy, & the Queen size Bed was very comfortable and the linens smelled so good! Loved the bathroom too! There’s so much to do, so many great places to eat at & funky bars & beer places to experience! Do yourself a favor and take a walk or rent bikes: You’re close enough to the beach-go enjoy it! We recommend “Rudee’s Tours”-The Dolphin Boat Cruise was AWESOME! We’ll be back! Tree Top Beach Bungalow 3 1/2 blocks fr beach

MichaelRating, 5 stars6 days ago
This was a beautiful apartment with amazing amenities. Kim and her husband were very friendly and helpful and we were within five minutes of the beach the entire time. The backyard is amazing with a hammock and a swing for the kids. We were very happy at the rooms actually had blackout curtains and we could sleep soundly. The fighter jets that fly all day are amazing to see and they fly super low so families kids and adult adults like can appreciate it.

2 bedroom condo with oceanfront one block away!

TaielirRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Went up with family and friends for the weekend. Had a wonderful time, venue was a block away from the beach. Host had recommendations on the table for local restaurants. Parking was a little snug but that’s not the host fault others couldn’t park inside the spaces. Overall we would certainly do it again.

Your guide to Virginia Beach

All About Virginia Beach

Surfers, swimmers, and sunbathers come to Virginia Beach to spend sunny days at the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay as it meets the Atlantic Ocean. The three-mile coastal boardwalk is lined with fresh-pressed juice shacks, pastry shops, and fashion boutiques, and there’s a separate lane for skaters and rollerbladers. Sweet saltwater taffy and maple nut fudge are traditional treats to savor along the shore, and local Lynnhaven oysters are an ever-popular mainstay on local menus.

For a commanding view of the bay, climb the 191 steps up Old Cape Henry Lighthouse — part of the journey involves climbing a tall ship’s ladder. Mount Trashmore provides an offbeat attraction that combines a skatepark, playground, and a grassy mound of reused landfill. If it’s been a while since your last surfing trip, Croatan Beach is the place to get some inspiration when it hosts the East Coast Surfing Championships.

This is also when the Neptune Festival showcases intricate sand sculptures along the shore. The holiday season is a big deal here, with plenty of festivities such as Holiday Lights at the Beach, the Surf-n-Santa 5 Miler, and the Christmas Market. The winter months also bring thousands of migrating birds to the bay, and this is the place to be for whale-watchers.

Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge

Grab your paddle and set out for a leisurely afternoon on the water. Explore Chesapeake Bay, venture into Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge, or float further afield through the scenic Great Dismal Swamp.
