@Whit’s End? Come in and Relax

CaraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Whit’s end was a wonderful vacation for my family. Perfect size place for my family of 6. Very short walk to the beach where we spent most of our time. Felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves which I loved. Nice playground very close by. Farmers market on Saturday which was very popular. Golf course 2 miles away that my husband and boys explored. Also a brewery in the neighborhood that was a nice bonus.

The Tree House at Old Beach

KyleRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Really enjoyed the space! The downstairs felt very functional with a spacious kitchen. The upstairs is essentially two hotel suites with the key being two full baths. The spiral staircase is a charming touch and the best part is the front deck. It’s spacious with plenty of seating so you can truly enjoy beach living. The hosts gave clear instructions and it was an easy check-out. The neighborhood is peaceful yet only a short walk to the heart of Virginia Beach’s boardwalk. I highly recommend staying at this home!

Solo/Couple's Escape in Sandbridge, Virginia Beach

MatthewRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Debra was an incredible host. The space was clean, bigger than expected and had everything you could expect in the house plus more. She also surprised us with snacks and drinks! The space was nice and quiet. We had a separate entrance to the bottom half of the home and we never heard anything upstairs. We would absolutely come back again and we highly recommend this air bnb!

Quaint Quarters Oceana

DeeRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
This was hands down one of the nicest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. The studio was beautifully decorated with stylish, comfy furniture and had everything I needed—including a fully stocked kitchen and a great bathroom. The bed was super comfortable, and the linens were of nice quality—not something every host puts thought into, but it makes such a difference! You could tell right away that the host, Shawn, really cares about making her guests feel at home. She had the kitchen stocked with appliances, snacks, and bottled water, which was such a nice touch. The bathroom had a big shower, plenty of towels, and even a cozy terry cloth robe. Shawn also included thoughtful extras like games, beach chairs, and pickleball paddles for the nearby courts. I had the chance to meet her while we were there, and she was so friendly and genuinely interested in making sure everyone has the best stay possible. You can tell she puts a lot of heart into hosting. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Peninsula Suite on the Lynnhaven River

DonaldRating, 5 stars2 days ago
This is an outstanding property. Beautiful surroundings and the accommodation and furnishings are like new! April was a great hostess and took care to ensure we had everything we needed. The dedicated access to the space either via the dedicated elevator or spiral staircase to the veranda were outstanding and made getting in/out of the unit easy with bags and groceries. I was also impressed with the well appointed kitchen and appliances as well as great knives and outdoor grill! Definitely a property we’d like to use again when we visit Virginia Beach!!

Seize the Bay

AtteeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What a wonderful job our hosts did! They provided all the supplies we could possibly need and then some! They truly thought of everything. We only had to buy food for ourselves, while most air bnb’s we’ve stayed in have one roll of toilet paper, one roll of paper towels, one trash bag, a tiny bottle of dish soap, etc. It felt more like staying at a friend’s home than a stranger’s. It was very short walk to the beach, which was very convenient. The beds were incredibly comfortable and having a recent back injury, this made a huge difference for me. They provided clear instructions about everything, we never had a need to contact them, though I’m sure they would’ve been very responsive if we had. I don’t have any complaints or suggestions for improvement at all!

VA Beach Oceanfront Studio, Beach, Boardwalk, Pool

AllisonRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We really enjoyed our stay at Josh & Maegan’s place right on the beach! The building is on the last block of the boardwalk, which is a great location because you can get right on the boardwalk directly outside the building, but since it's at the end of the boardwalk, it is much quieter and less busy than further down. The building is older but very well kept up, as was the apartment. The building's pool is small but nice, and there is a grassy sitting area with chairs and tables directly off the beach, which was lovely to sit at. The apartment is small (would not recommend three people squeezing in there), but perfect for two people if you are not spending much time inside and has all the amenities you need to cook simple meals. I would absolutely stay again!

Its a nice cozy spot thats right by the water with plenty of restaurants to check out near by. A majority of them are walkable distances. There is also easy access to the highway if needed to travel further out. The area is very quiet with almost no noise. Surrounded by a community of families so you'll quickly feel right at home.

My husband and I visited Steff's AirBnB on our Honeymoon and were beyond pleased! She provided so much for her guests, including eggs and bacon for breakfast!! Her space was so clean and welcoming. It was the perfect, quiet spot for us. I found the bed to be a little too firm for my personal taste, but I still got a decent enough night sleep and I will absolutely be back if we come down to Williamsburg again. The backyard was so adorable and peaceful! I only wish the weather would have been better to enjoy the fire pit and smores kit!! Thank you Steff for having us!

Your guide to Virginia Beach

All About Virginia Beach

Surfers, swimmers, and sunbathers come to Virginia Beach to spend sunny days at the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay as it meets the Atlantic Ocean. The three-mile coastal boardwalk is lined with fresh-pressed juice shacks, pastry shops, and fashion boutiques, and there’s a separate lane for skaters and rollerbladers. Sweet saltwater taffy and maple nut fudge are traditional treats to savor along the shore, and local Lynnhaven oysters are an ever-popular mainstay on local menus.

For a commanding view of the bay, climb the 191 steps up Old Cape Henry Lighthouse — part of the journey involves climbing a tall ship’s ladder. Mount Trashmore provides an offbeat attraction that combines a skatepark, playground, and a grassy mound of reused landfill. If it’s been a while since your last surfing trip, Croatan Beach is the place to get some inspiration when it hosts the East Coast Surfing Championships.
