Barn vacation rentals in Tennessee

We had a very relaxing few days with our pups at Esther and Tamara's place recently. The property is just beautiful and these ladies are the most incredibly gracious hosts. They are super friendly and easy to communicate with. We enjoyed walks around the property, soaks in the private hot tub, and reading our books out on the patio overlooking the pretty surroundings. We ate in our room a few times using room service, as well as dining in the Inn, and let me tell you, Esther is an amazing chef! We enjoyed everything she made for us! They really do try to create an experience for their guests here, and that makes them a unique and wonderful place to stay. We will definitely be back. Thanks again!

We enjoyed ourselves so much. We were warmly greeted, and given a tour. We opted for the morning farm chores, and they were fun and educational. It was my husbands 60th birthday, and he milked a cow for the first time!! We were offered Bible study after the chores, and Brynne did a great job. Brynne was our farm chore guide too. She was excellent at both. At night, I opened our window, and the ladybugs greeted me, and I could see the stars from my pillow. The weather was perfect. I’m very happy with my stay, and would recommend it. We were about 45-60 minutes from Chattanooga, where our activities were for the weekend, but it’s an easy drive. It was so quiet and peaceful, that you forget there are animals right near you. My husband had a great birthday weekend!!’

We stayed for 4 months during the winter and really enjoyed our time at the cottage. We were looking for a peaceful & quiet getaway in nature and that’s exactly what we got. It was so comfy and relaxing. We loved having our morning coffee in the sunroom over looking the lake. Kitchen is well equipped, wifi was super fast, lots of TV channels. There’s no cell service, but with the fast wifi you didn’t really need it. We were sad to leave! Would definitely come back, and absolutely recommend Melissa’s place for anyone who wants a peaceful escape.

This place has beautiful views! We looked forward to coming home in the evenings and enjoying the hot tub, and waking up to the beautiful mountains. Kitchen has everything we needed for cooking. It’s only about a 30 minute drive up pigeon forge, but there’s still everything you need at the bottom of the mountain such as convenience stores, restaurants, shops, and food trucks on the weekend. Will definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at William's cabin while in town visiting friends in nearby Elmwood. We enjoyed the property location, privacy and serenity. Terry the caretaker was great and checked in with us to be sure all was good. We will definitely book again next time we are in town.

We had a great stay, loved the house and the peaceful setting, but the best part was Isla, the farm dog! She’s the best!! ❤️

Probably the friendliest BnB hosts I have ever encountered. They showed me around and chatted with me about their family and were all around warm and friendly. The room was immaculate and so cozy I wish I could have stayed for longer. 5 stars!

Very private and cozy stay! Enough room for my husband and I to both work remotely for two weeks and have our own little space. Comfortable bed in the primary bedroom! The only downside is no windows in the kitchen / living room/ dining room. Otherwise a wonderful stay!

Our family of 5 and our Goldendoodle enjoyed the beautiful grounds and fun outdoor activities provided. Brandi was responsive and friendly. The pond was peaceful and we enjoyed fishing, cornhole, horseshoes, and relaxing. The cabin was cozy and clean. Thanks for a great stay!

After wrapping up a section hike on the Appalachian Trail, this goat farm stay was everything my body and soul needed. Tucked into a peaceful setting, it offered the perfect blend of cozy, quirky, and calm. The goats were full of personality and brought such lightness to the experience—it was impossible not to smile around them. The real magic, though, was in the details: a serene outdoor soaking tub, a wonderfully hot sauna, and the most comfortable beds I’ve ever melted into. After days on the trail, I felt like I’d landed in a hiker’s version of heaven. The host has clearly poured love and care into this space, and it shows in every thoughtful touch. Whether you’re coming off the trail or just in need of a reset, this stay is grounding, restorative, and unforgettable.

My four-day solo getaway was absolutely wonderful. The accommodations were spacious and comfortable. The hillside vistas and the creekside walk were peaceful and lovely. I'll definitely return for more in the future. Thank you, thank you!

A perfect little place for relaxing and getting away from the world. I didn’t have a cell service (Verizon) but the internet that was provided works very well. Stairs are definitely steep, but once you are use to it it’s not too bad. Stormed majority of my stay but what I could see outside was very nice.

Condo was exactly as pictured. Tastefully decorated and clean. They have thought of everything, bathroom has q tips and cotton balls. Kitchen has coffee and sugar packets too. Area was quiet and felt secluded. Plenty of places for sleeping, beds were comfortable and noise machines were an added bonus. The host is super nice and provides helpful suggestions..we tried the bbq restaurant that was recommended and loved it..my kids even cleared their plates! Already looking forward to a return stay!

This place was perfect for our family of five (kids are 10, 7, and 4). The kids played in the creeks and by the pond every day. The setting was serene and peaceful. We drove into Nashville several days. Austin was a gracious host - very responsive and helpful. If you are looking for a relaxing and comfortable getaway for the whole family that is near enough to Nashville to enjoy all that the city has to offer, this is the place!

Like others have said, Meredith’s place was immaculate and perfect! Everything was spotlessly clean. She had everything you could possibly need. The only thing I didn’t see was deodorant. It was simply amazing. Yeah, it can be noisy in the old building and yes the trains for run quite frequently, but it’s not enough to detract from this incredible apartment. I’ve stayed at countless hotels and Airbnb’s before, and this place was easily the best. We absolutely will book again the next time we finish Nashville.

We loved our visit. House was just as expected, clean and well equipped. Beds very confortable. Hosts were very communicative, friendly and welcoming. Had an amazing time and would highly recommend their place.

Michael & Dawn were absolute lifesavers after the originally AirBNB I was supposed to be staying in cancelled on me at the last second. They were very responsive when I was trying to find something at the last minute during the area’s busy season, & the cabin is SO NICE. I could not recommend them and this property enough!
