We had a beautiful stay here 😊 lovely, peaceful surroundings and just what we wanted for a last minute getaway. The hut was slightly difficult to find in the dark but what a stunning place it is! Would definitely recommend this place to all 😁

"Wow" what a find! Such a beautiful place and so peaceful. The Shepherds hut was even better than it looked ,in the pictures and very spacious considering. It was spotless inside and had everything you needed. I loved that we arrived to homemade cakes and goodies in the fridge. My son loved the animals and we were very lucky to meet Bob who kindly told my son about the animals and let him help feed some of them. Bob and Helen are excellent hosts, they go above and beyond from start to finish and nothing is to much trouble. We shall be back.

A wonderful glamping/country farm site. We stayed in the Norfolk shepherds hut and it was perfect - spotlessly clean with all the amenities you could want. A well thought-out brochure to download onto your phone with all the information you could need for your stay. Complimentary fresh free range eggs! Just perfect.

Shepherds hut was perfect for two of us and the dog! Location very peaceful and we were made to feel right at home in the pub, where the food was superb and the welcome was warm. Particular thanks to Andy who was the perfect host. We will be back 👍👍

this was by far one of our favourite places. beautiful during the day relaxing looking over the farm animals whist sitting on swing in garden. And quite during the night with wild life, we was up through the night with music on quietly with no problems love and blessings

Katie and Matt’s ‘Shepherd Hut’ was so lovely, in the middle of beautiful fields and countryside, blissful and very quaint. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, Katie was very friendly and helpful, her place is highly recommended for a quiet, relaxing getaway. Coming from Australia the area is stunning.

Grate shepherd's hut well organised and very comfortablebed , garden very peaceful,full of birds , lots of deer sightings in the adjacent fields we have has a lovely stay and we'll be coming back soon

Fantastic cabin in a beautiful location, proper luxury but so close to nature, waking up to the frozen lake in anticipation of a sauna was amazing! Sarah and Will were great hosts and so helpful with check in and ideas about the local area, many thanks!

Lovely location with accommodating host. Cabin has all the essentials and is cozy with the fire on. Barnaby was very responsive and helpful and was kind enough to provide a later checkout to enjoy the space!

We had a lovely Easter weekend staying in the shepherds hut. It was comfortable and well presented. There was fire wood to warm up the cabin in the evening with direction if we needed more. The outside shower was lovely and warm, just a lot of turning it off and on again when the wind blew out the flame on the boiler on a windier day. Mini fridge was a good touch to put your own milk in to use for tea and coffee which was provided although we brought our own. It was in a good location with a small village less than 5 minutes away with a premier or a bigger retail park 15minutes away with a big Tesco and other shops. The only downside (if you could call it that) is the toilet facilities but they were as detailed and expected. They were clean and I can't complain , I’m just more of a plumbing kind of girl. I would highly recommend staying here and would stay again if the oppertunity arose.

I had a lovely stay, my dog loved the fields, he was in his element. I enjoyed the quiet and peace and the smell of mustard fields. Good communication and accommodating. Anne and I had good conversation, very caring lady; Anissa and her family had gone away. I recommend and will visit again.

Loved our time here, a last minute getaway and just what was needed. Peaceful, calm and surrounded by nature. The hut has a great private spot on site and the view from the hot tub was a real treat; an ancient oak woodland with birds and deer a plenty. We had enough time to grab a Sunday roast at the Unruly Pig, both agreed it was the best we'd ever had! Quick stop for supplies at Ruebens butcher/deli with some killer cheese and snacks. A must visit. Visiting in winter was lovely, the wood burner came into its own and we'd have been perfectly happy going absolutely nowhere. We'll certainly be back.

We had a beautiful stay at Helens place. The hut was exactly as described if not better. The need was the comfiest bed I've ever slept in and I'm a very fussy sleeper. Helen was on hand for anything we needed, was so attentive but only when we requested so our privacy was respected but Helen has truly thought of everything! I can't recommend enough

The hut is like the best apartment you’ve ever stayed in but located in a wood. We regularly saw deer and hares running across the field. You could hear birds all around. On our first night we watched the stars sat by the fire. It’s the perfect place to relax. Great pubs all around, less than 10 mins drive from a beach. The hut itself has everything you could possibly need. We loved making dinner and playing games. The Robert’s radio was a lovely touch. Matt and the team were fantastic. We are looking at dates to stay at another hut. Just amazing

Fab place to stop the night. Clean, well equiped with beautiful surroundings. Andrew is a kind, friendly host. Thank you for having us 😇 For bikers: We arrived on bikes and tucked them in next to a tall bush - they were safe overnight and great spot to explore Epping forest.

Lovely peaceful quiet location, hut was very clean and tidy. Definitely the cosiest warmest hut I've been in, even in the coldest of weathers you should be warm once you get the heater going. Richard gave clear precise instructions on how to check in, didn't get to meet him as he was away but met his sister Gillian on arrival, who is a wonderfully kind helpful lady and was quick to respond if i was in need. All in all a great peaceful experience, would love to be back someday.
