The coast (Southwold, Walberswick, Aldeburgh, Frinton, Felixstowe, Clacton, and Lowestoft) are all a comfortable 30 - 45 minutes drive.

Anthony's place was very snug and cozy. Very comfortable bed and the heating was very easy to control and effective. Handy base for Sudbury, Bury St Edmunds, and Lavenham, just to mention 3 places. Tea, coffee, and breakfast cereals provided. We would be happy to stay again in future.

What a lovely place, perfect for a quick break. We stayed one night with our dog and was made to feel really welcome, we were given a local reccomendation for dinner which was lovely. Comfy bed, brownies on arrival which were incredible. Christine was lovely and omg the breakfast...everything was lovely!

Gorgeous location! Comfy cabin, with everything I needed. Lovely friendly hosts and it was great to receive a freshly baked loaf of bread on arrival, plus jam, butter and milk. Museli and oats provided for breakfast too. Lots of lovely hot water in bathroom adjoining the cabin. I'm tall so the shower height was a little low for me (standing in the bath), but it was very easily worked around. Next time I'll bring binoculars and my camera, as the wildlife down the lane heading towards the river was wonderful. I also loved that the cabin is located near World Horse Welfare (although it was unfortunately closed due to an infection - but I could see the horses in the fields). Also great walking/cycling around the lanes. I was visiting the Norwich and Thetford areas and the cabin is conveniently located between the two. I'd love to stay again and definitely recommend the cabin.

I brought my partner to Somerleyton Meadows as a birthday surprise on the August bank holiday weekend and it was totally dreamy ❤️ Comfy, cosy, spotlessly clean, private and peaceful - what more could we have wished for?! The host Stuart was the perfect balance of being present and available and allowing us to enjoy the space in peace. He brought us warm pastries & juice / coffee in the morning and gave us some great tips for local places to eat. By far our favourite part was the log burning hot tub. We had 2 nights of sitting out under the stars with a glass of Prosecco followed by lovely warm showers and a lovely sleep. Just the reset we needed. We’ll definitely be back soon ✨ 🙏🏼

A truly wonderful place to stay, and so close to Bury itself. The house was a beautiful example of an historic home, and had everything you needed for a very comfortable stay. Bob & Bundy were perfect hosts, and had thought of everything. The room was warm and comfortable, with spectacular views (loved the down quilt). A separate room was set aside for us to sit comfortably and watch TV. The kitchen facilities were excellent and we really enjoyed the breakfast that was left for us. The surrounding area was so peaceful, we came away feeling rested and restored. We highly recommend staying here and hope to return again soon.
