Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Suffolk

We stayed for 4 nights with Helens caravan. This was by far one of the most loveliest caravans we been to as a family ! It was super clean and very homely. To the point that Helen and Paul had left us some sweet treats, milk,fresh Bread and snacks even sauces in the fridge ! You could have thought of something and it was there !The caravan has linen and extra towels, washing machine, air fryer and coffee machine . It really was home from home. The children loved all the game and dvds and thr large tv.the bed was one of the most comfortable beds we slept in that wasnt a hotel. The area is lovely and great for dogs and children alike. Beautiful natural area and swimming. many choices of places to eat and things to do ! Helen was always available to talk to and this trip she made us feel very looked after, i was greatful for all your help on our trip. So happy i booked and will definitely love to go again just for the caravan alone. Hope to see you soon in the year.

Very nice chalet, as described, everybody said how nice it was and how clean and tidy it was, a great time had by all and very well situated close to amenities and also the water. Will visit again, thank you very much for a lovely stay.

Perfect stay with Maria and family - very warm and welcoming hosts. Great location for exploring Bury St Edmunds and the surrounding area. Would highly recommend.

We stayed at Sarah’s place for 6 nights and had an amazing time. She went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, the home is walking distance from “downtown” and less than 200M from a beautiful Sainsburys grocery store. The gardens were very peaceful and tranquil, an absolute joy to look out at. We were initially booked in the basement suite but the garden studio was available on arrival and Sarah gave us the option to change, which we did. She was very gracious and welcoming, provided sundries in the fridge, croissants, granola and other basic groceries for us on arrival. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again.

We stayed as a group of friends at this charming house, and it exceeded all our expectations! The property was even more stunning than the pictures, with a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comforts. Vanessa is incredibly kind and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed for a fantastic stay. The peaceful surroundings and beautiful scenery provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable getaway. We can't recommend this place enough and would like to return one day!

We really enjoyed our stay at Anna's place. It has been finished to a very high standard and is very spacious. The house has beautiful views over looking a valley and benefits from a south west facing garden which gets the late sun. We would recommend the place to others.

Fabulous and luxurious house in very quiet and private location just outside Aldeburgh. The best equipped place we have stayed, very comfortable beds, lots of towels and all the essentials, we loved it and will definitely go back. You can walk into Aldeburgh, there is a pavement all the way from the end of the track. Central location for the Suffolk coast. Donna was a great host and very responsive.

The house was absolutely lovely. Gorgeous inside and out, and very comfortable to live in. The village is very quiet, but it's only a short drive into Colchester, where you can find tons of things to do. Chris was a great host who made check in easy and made us feel very welcome in his home. Would definitely stay again!

Stayed at H’s warm & cozy cottage with my son (12), Mum, partner and Cockapoo in April 2025. This place really is a true hidden gem and a proper home from home. The grounds are absolutely stunning and a real credit to the owners. I loved walking round the gardens in the morning with the dog. Very flexible, friendly and responsive hosts! Nothing was too much trouble and the communication was excellent. The cottage is well equipped with everything you need for a perfect stay with family and/or friends. It is also situated in an excellent location for Thetford Forest / High Lodge, Ely, Cambridge etc. My son loved being able to use the tennis courts, we also made use of the board games and the cottage is welcoming for your furry friends so I would highly recommend. We will definitely be back in the future and I’m sure the swimming pool will be a very popular with future guests!! Booked the lodge as a surprise for my best friend’s 40th birthday. Four of us in total, that don’t get to see one another often; and everything about this experience made it so special. Selina was so accommodating and flexible to our individual needs; kindly letting 2 of us access the lodge ahead of check-in time, to set up birthday banners & afternoon tea (ordered from No. 142 Cafe in Oulton Broad). The entire stay exceeded all expectations! The photos don’t really do it justice. The lodge is stylish, comfortable, and spotless. The double bedroom boasts its own access onto the spacious veranda, and such a lovely marina location. A fab bar/restaurant onsite too, which we enjoyed the next day.
