LOVELY GEORGIAN HOUSE IN HEART OF VILLAGE

Our comfortable king-size bedroom with own bathroom, in a separate area upstairs in our house, overlooks a lovely walled garden in the heart of one of the most beautiful villages in England. We also have an adjacent smaller twin bedroom which is available for the same group or perfect for families with children (aged 5 upwards). Both bedrooms share the same private bathroom. NB 2 night minimum stay over Easter We are perfectly placed to enjoy Constable country and the coast is nearby too.

Stylish double room (with additional single sofa bed suitable for a young child). Sole use of separate shower room. Desk area. Breakfast and tea/coffee facilities available in the room. 100m from the main shopping area and many cafés and restaurants. 500m from the beach, and promenade. Perfect for a night or two away. Please be aware that we have friendly cats and a dog.

Really easy to find and up a small track with huge amounts of greenery, trees and wonderful views. Very quiet location, perfect to rest up in. Amazing host who can't do enough for you, fantastic cooked breakfast and classic farmhouse style decor. Only 20 minutes from Ipswich. If you have any questions just ask!

We would love to welcome you to our quiet little spot in Suffolk and hope you would like to come and enjoy some time here with us. Over the pandemic many changes have taken place and through various circumstances we are now looking to hire out our beautiful barn and bedroom buildings as a self contained unit rather than bed and breakfast accommodation. This does mean that the current set up is a little unique but we hope we can provide guests with a spot to get away and enjoy.

Tea and coffee in room. Dogs very welcome but are owners' responsibility at all times.

Lovely stay in Shimpling. Annie was a fantastic host, incredibly friendly and made us feel at home. The rooms were all perfect for us , beautifully clean and comfortable. Annie made us tea on arrival and served us a wonderful breakfast in the morning - I highly recommend.

The breakfasts were delicious and accommodation was fantastic. Everywhere was so clean and attention to detail was second to none. Had a lovely stay and wouldn't hesitate to return. Such a beautiful place to stay. We were made to feel very welcome by our host, Lisa. Great communication from the time we made our booking to the day of arrival. Our stay was to attend a wedding locally and due to traffic we were running late. Lisa went above and beyond to help us. Check in was very smooth. Home-made cake, tea, coffee were in our rooms and a lot of other thoughtful touches. The house is full of character and a lovely and relaxing place to stay. We all had a very good sleep in comfortable beds and enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the morning including cereals, fruit, yoghurt, warm croissants, full English, juice, tea and coffee. I would highly recommend. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

What an extraordinarily wonderful stay we enjoyed with Edith! She was the perfect hostess; collecting our bags from the station so we could go on a long walk (and providing an excellent home made map, after having done the walk herself, so we wouldn't get lost!); offering us the most wonderful breakfast with local home grown produce, which were absolutely delicious; showing us local walks, including a gorgeous ancient church which we were interested in seeing to even offering us a G&T in the back garden to enjoy a sundowner! She also drove us back to the station to catch our train. This is an atmospheric and beautiful home to spend a weekend in. And truly, was the best AirBnB we have ever stayed at. We arrived as strangers and left as friends. Thank you so much for being your wonderful self, Edith! We hope to see you again. xx

Amazing B&B, spotlessly clean and very stylish !! In a beautiful location with cute villages and amazing pub near by - my husband thinks one of the best meals he’s ever had in The Dukes Head !! The towels and dressing gowns were the highest quality we’ve ever had in any previous accommodation and the breakfast was delicious ! Amazing hospitality - definitely stay here !!

We had a wonderful stay here! At first they were helpful with my booking using a voucher, the communication was excellent . They were friendly on arrival and most helpful , the whole building was a super old building with a lovely atmosphere. Our room was beautiful and the facilities perfect , i enjoyed a lovely hot bath and very comfortable bed . Having a sofa to sit on for a while and watch the village, was a nice feature too. We enjoyed a lovely meal in the evening and super breakfast . I would definitely stay again and can’t thank the staff enough as nothing was too much trouble. We hope to return to visit more of the beautiful surrounding areas . All in all a super weekend had by us both , thankyou !

What a beautiful home. We were welcomed with a roaring open fire, a beautiful dressed lounge with Christmas tree and festive music. Warm home made mince pies, followed by the best ever Koko,s home made hot chocolate. Just magical. Our hosts koko and Michael Made us feel like family. Nothing too much trouble. The offer of a wonderful breakfast. Cereals, fresh fruits, yogurt, pastries, croissants jams, just delicious. Our bedroom was lovely, waking up to views each morning of the squirrels and robins feeding and the open countryside. The bed was so comfy. The best quality bedding and towels. The bathroom had both shower and bath which was spacious and bright. With lovely toiletries. The house was cosy and warm. Enchanting. Koko gave us a map showing the beautiful walks, not forgetting the route to two local pubs. I’m so impressed with this house I’m booking to return next year for sure. Thank you Koko and Michael for making our Christmas so very, very special.
