Perfect place for a quiet peaceful retreat. Maggi made us feel very welcome and was really helpful during a storm related power outage with hot water for drinks. The hut is small but very efficiently kitted out with all the essentials. Amazing pillows and a very warm cozy duvet make this place perfect even during colder nights. The chickens on site also supply the best eggs for all your eggy needs during your stay. The two large hounds are also very friendly and always asking for a little cuddle. The hut is quite remote and off the track but Maggi’s instructions made it very clear how to find it.

It was just wonderful and we didn't want to leave! My best friend and I felt very comfortable. We were able to cook and make ourselves comfortable in front of the stove. In addition, the location was super nice, we enjoyed the view of the garden and the mountains. Communication with Debra and Martin was super easy and when we asked for a hot water bottle and firewood, they helped us right away. Thank you! We both can recommend it and would love to come back! A perfect place to unwind and relax.

We had a great 2-night stay at the Shepherd's Hut. The views and local scenery were breathtaking, including the sheep and new lambs right out front. We had a lot of fun hunting for the dinosaur footprints at Staffin Beach just up the road and it's worth checking out the dinosaur museum next store to see some incredible artifacts and learn a bit of the local history from the local family that owns it. The Hut was very clean and well stocked. It actually feels a lot bigger on the ins than it looks from the outside! We would absolutely stay here again, 10/10 recommend.

Such a gorgeous place to stay to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The beach (a short walk away) was a real bonus. Gemma was very helpful and responsive. A great base for exploring Skye. Thank you so much for letting us stay at the shepherds hut.
