Cottage in Plockton
4.94 out of 5 average rating, 195 reviewsPlockton - Unique Thatched Cottage
First week in October, and 5 days of straight sunshine, blue skies and peace. The Thatched Cottage is a fantastic base to explore Plockton and surroundings. Has everything needed for a comfortable stay with just a few steps to sit and enjoy the view of the harbour and bay. Ian and Linda really friendly and helpful, with some good tips on local walks ( don’t miss the Rudha Mor circuit) and ideas for trips further afield to Applecross and Skye. Plockton itself is a beautiful place, a pleasure to walk around at all times of day, the East-facing micro climate supports some striking palm trees ! Had a couple of good meals at the Plockton Hotel, and the Plockton Shores evening store which sets up as a restaurant Thursday to Saturday evenings. Both places busy even in October, so booking advised. Callum’s boat trip to the Seal Island well worth the money. We’re already thinking about when we can go back to explore further, and wouldn’t hesitate to stay at the cottage again. Highly recommended

Had a lovely stay at the wee bothy. Very cosy and clean, a great space with everything you need. Amazing location for exploring the island and Rachael is a great host providing plenty of information.
Guest suite in Fiscavaig
4.95 out of 5 average rating, 197 reviewsThe Passing Place Studio, Fiscavaig, Isle of Skye
The most magical location! Waking up to sensational sunrises made our trip so special. Absolutely lovely hosts. Only thing I would say we thought would make it better would be a TV that you could watch programmes on just for later at night. But during the day you don’t need it when the landscape outside is constantly changing! Loved this air bnb and would definitely recommend it

Fantastic location short walk to the town center, the home is beautifully arranged and very cost, the underfloor heating was great on the feet after hiking. The hosts were extremely helpful and lightning fast to respond when I had questions, 100% recommend this place
Tiny home in Dunvegan

The space is clean, cozy and has everything you need. The oven was great for making some food in the evenings after long days of exploring. The view is gorgeous!
Home in Teangue
5 out of 5 average rating, 49 reviewsSkye Lair, the perfect deluxe Skye sanctuary
Had an incredible few days here. Beautiful location where you can see a sky full of stars at night and the most gorgeous outlook during the day. Watching the sun rise over the mountains with a tea and book on the snuggle chair made for a perfect morning, and a wine by the fire at night made for a perfect day. Everything was clean and the whole place is well designed. Instructions book was so useful. Would stay again in a heart beat and highly recommend.

Had a wonderful stay at Pasha's place. In a great spot central to the many sights and activities on Skye, and it was great to have this location as a home base. Also very walkable to restaurants/pubs in Portree, near the grocery store, and very nice to have a reserved parking spot. Pasha was a wonderful host who was very responsive and even helped us out when some issues came up during our trip. Highly recommend!
Chalet in Lochailort
4.99 out of 5 average rating, 140 reviewsCozy & Romantic Hideaway in the Hills
My husband and I booked Elizabeth’s place as we wanted to get away for new years and experience the Scottish highlands. The Lodge is STUNNING the location is amazing, turn left and you have the viaduct and dumbledores resting place (massive HP fans) and turn right and you get to experience the beautiful views and beaches. The pictures don’t do the lodge justice. We had to spend a whole day in because of the weather and it’s was so cosy, warm and comfortable. Elizabeth is also the sweetest checking in to see if we were okay considering the weather and then texting me when the northern lights appeared. Honestly book this place don’t think twice. We drove 8 hours to get here and would deffo stay again.
Cottage in Glendale
4.99 out of 5 average rating, 159 reviewsThe Byre, Traditional Stone Cottage
A superbly renovated croft (latterly used, I believe, as a byre, before its renovation). Views of Loch Pooltiel and the surrounding countryside from the porch and front garden were superb. Even in wet and windy weather we were very comfortable, thanks to the central heating and the excellent wood-burner (ample supply of firewood). Spotlessly clean with an excellent bathroom, a well-equipped kitchen (no problems cooking Christmas dinner), and a very comfortable bed. Lyn could not have been more helpful, ordering our excellent Christmas duck (picked up at the handy Glendale General Store, a few minutes’ walk away). Most restaurants were closed, but we had an outstanding meal at Edinbane Lodge on its last evening of pre-Christmas service, with Donda Maclean of Dunvegan Taxis providing excellent transportation and lots of local information. Our only problem was that the WiFi, was not good enough to log in to sites requiring multiple security protocols. But a wonderful place to stay.
Bungalow in Highland
4.92 out of 5 average rating, 130 reviewsHoliday lets, Back Burn Falls, Cannich
Vince's place was in the lovely little village of Cannich and was secluded and private. The home was lovely and spacious and Vince was a great host, always responsive. There are beautiful hikes and walks all around the property and would definitely recommend staying here during your visit to the Scottish Highlands!
Tiny home in Highland Council
4.9 out of 5 average rating, 139 reviewsWalter's Pod
Had a lovely weekend in this great, well equipped pod. Has a microwave/oven and air fryer which were really appreciated and not always provided at other places. I've stayed in a few pods in Skye over the years and this one is the best. It's a superb central location overlooking Portree Bay. Shops and fuel within a few minutes. Immaculately clean with good WiFi and a smart TV. Extremely comfy bed and very modern and comfortable interior. Susanne was very responsive and helpful, even often to get us anything we needed from her trip to the shop. Couldn't ask for a more hassle free experience. Will be back for sure.

Cabin in Fort William
4.84 out of 5 average rating, 153 reviewsHeron Bay - Loch side, huge deck, log burner
Our stay at the Heron cabin was beautiful! Very well equipped and great value for money compared to other airbnbs. The views out on to the loch were stunning, the huge deck was great for having a cup in the morning and the heated floors in the bathrooms were an amazing surprise for us. The fact there were two bathrooms was excellent too. Absolutely zero issues or complaints and would happily come back to stay again :)
Chalet in Highland Council
4.98 out of 5 average rating, 118 reviewsHighland Lochside Lodge Spectacular Scenery
Absolutely beautiful part of Scotland, everyone we bumped into had something new to explain about the Lochs and surrounding hill and mountains. I cannot emphasize enough how beautiful the location is and the Cabin is perfect in everyway, I would definitely recommend visiting.
Guesthouse in Highland Council
4.98 out of 5 average rating, 129 reviewsAn Outdoor Enthusiasts Slice of Heaven
We came up all the way from Somerset to stay for 4 days for my partners birthday - she'd never been to Scotland and I hadn't been for years. Karen and Uisdeans place is a little slice of heaven. Tucked away near the Caledonian Canal and Loch Lochy it is divine. We managed to explore all the way out to Oban and to Skye whilst staying here, as well as some more local sites like Glenfinnan and Loch Eil, and Loch Ness. We were lucky enough to have snow whilst here which made the place even more beautiful and peaceful. We got engaged whilst up here as well so a totally special stay - we'll definitely be back here, it holds so many amazing memories for us. Karen and Uisdean are so helpful and lovely, with loads of info provided if needed, and a lovely tour of the property. They even left some dog treats, a dog blanket and a cushion for our puppy! Would 100% recommend to anyone heading out this way.

Condo in Highland Council
4.97 out of 5 average rating, 131 reviewsHoliday home near Gairloch - stunning location!
This is a spacious, cosy, comfortable place to stay. It's peaceful, remote, in beautiful surroundings - the Atlantic to the West, the mountains of Torridon to the East, and views of Skye from beautiful local beaches. Onie and Ally were friendly and helpful (above and beyond after I'd gone knee-deep in a bog on a walk, making sure my boots dried by morning). The apartment is, if anything, better than in the photos - the comfortable sitting room/dining/kitchen area really spacious. I slept super-well here and had some great walks and drives in the day - taking hundreds of photos.
Place to stay in Na h-Eileanan an Iar
4.81 out of 5 average rating, 120 reviewsLochview caravan Grosebay .
I arrived on a windy and rainy day and initially felt a bit hesitant about staying in a caravan, but this experience far exceeded my expectations! The caravan had a beautiful view, and the interior was cozy and warm, even with the rough weather outside. The internet connection was surprisingly fast and reliable, hot water was available whenever I needed it, and the gas oven worked perfectly. Everything was excellent, with just a minor issue, the towels had a slight smell of humidity. However, I always bring my own towels, so it wasn’t a problem for me. What truly stood out was the hospitality of the owner, who personally visited the caravan to check if I needed anything, which I really appreciated. Overall, I was very happy with my stay and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
Cottage in Portree
4.97 out of 5 average rating, 115 reviewsArdchoille-Home from home cottage!
This house was the ideal place for us to stay while on Skye. We traveled with another couple. The layout is spacious so we had room to spread out. The kitchen is large and we were able to have breakfast and dinner here. The location is central so we could visit sites all over the island fairly easily. And, the views of the bay from the sitting room at the back of the house are beautiful. Seumas stopped by to greet us and was super friendly. He made us feel very welcomed. I highly recommend this stay!
