Relax in the cottage or use it as a base to explore the many attractions on Skye. Close to the main village of Portree and the harbour at Uig with access to the Outer Hebrides the cottage is perfectly situated. The cottage has good WIFI, perfect for WFH. This is the end terraced cottage on ardrhu holiday cottage site, in the village of Onich, with Loch and mountain views from decking area looking down towards Mull and up towards Glencoe. Fort William being only 8 miles away the cottage is situated just off the main A82 down a private road with no through traffic, ideal for a quite relaxing holiday. We have a Red squirrels coming to feed in the garden, be quite and you may see them. Only 1 dog allowed at the cottage.

Lovely detached bungalow in the quiet village of Gedintailor with beautiful sea views towards the Isle of Raasay. The cottage is newly renovated with a cosy, modern feel and with a stove in the living room. The garden has a private seating area with firepit/BBQ at the front and a decked seating area at the back. Only a 1 minute walk to the shore, 10 minute walk to the beach, and a 15 minute drive to Portree.

Had a fantastic stay in Garbhein cottage. It was a perfect base to explore the local area with stunning views. The kitchen was well equipped and the eco-friendly toiletries were a nice touch. Any questions to Anna were dealt with extremely quickly when we had problems connecting to the Wi-Fi - we were using the wrong password but once Anna helped the connection was brilliant. Walking via the road into Kinlochleven has been mentioned before. We did it twice during our stay (4 adults) and although it’s not ideal it’s worth it in order to leave the car at home. We took torches, there were very few cars passed us and local drivers were very courteous when passing. I’m not sure that I would have felt as comfortable doing that with young children, however. We would probably have just spent more time in the beautiful cottage!

A stunning location for this cottage. It was peaceful and has incredible views over the waters to the mountains. It was wonderful to see the tide come and go, we felt close to nature. The cottage was clean and well stocked with kitchen equipment. There are games and books and enough for wood for your first night there. Underfloor heating was lovely and the fire heated the house really well to the point I needed to open the door to cool down - which is great to know you won’t be cold when you’re up there at the end of Autumn! Having a bath while looking out in the views to the mountains felt like a luxury.

We had a lovely stay at Red Mountain Garden Cottage. It had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The views from our dining table were gorgeous. Carbost is ideally situated for visiting the whole island. We certainly loved Glen Brittle - which is close by. Carbost has a friendly and lively pub and the nearby Cafe Cuil is definitely worth a visit - or two! We had a wonderful few days walking. It was lovely to return to the cosy cottage to relax. We would highly recommend a stay here.

The only thing that I would rate higher than this cottage was the beautiful view and sunsets we enjoyed (these were truly spectacular!). The Byre was just right - cozy, both secluded and close to the great spots nearby such as the Glendale market/post office, Skye Weavers, and 3 Chimneys. Clear instructions and responsive communication were appreciated too. I would definitely recommend this special place to a friend and I would love to come back someday soon!

Beautiful and peaceful house set in a lovely location. House is very well equipped and easily accommodated my party of 3 adults and 2 large teenagers. Peter and Cary were very helpful hosts. Beach only a 5 to 10 mins walk away and a waterfall walk only 10 mins walk. We all loved our stay.

We stayed here for 5 nights but could’ve easily stayed much longer! It’s just such a nice place that really feels like home the minute you walk through the door. The room with the windows facing the sea is a great place to hang out, look out over the coast and watch all the birds fly by - grabbing your binoculars when you think you see something special :) Our 1,5 year old daughter really enjoyed the house too (she loved all the children’s books!). Bit challenging to keep her off the stairs but the multi-purpose fire guard worked a treat!

The view was incredible. We were looking for a peaceful location a little off of the main path and this was definitely it. The Isle of Skye is a wonderful landscape to explore and this is a great location to set out from while on the island. The hosts were very responsive and did a great job preparing the place for us. We had a great time! We only wish we could have stayed longer.

BEAUTIFUL We booked this place for our anniversary and we certainly weren't disappointed. This is the first airbnb that we didn't want to leave, we absolutely loved it and even more special for us to be able to take our pooches with us. The house is beautifully decorated and well equipped. The location is just stunning and private. Well maintained garden which is also secure for dogs. Opinon beach is walking distance from the house and we ventured to Redpoint beach which is just breath taking. We loved this place so much that we've booked to come back for my birthday in September.

Spent a wonderful week at Eileen’s cottage. It was warm, spotlessly clean, comfortable and set in the most beautiful and peaceful surrounding area. Ten minutes walk to stunning beaches, with views over to Eigg, Rhum and Skye. Eileen was a most friendly and considerate host. We hope to return soon. Karen, Grant and George (our cat).😀😽

Neil’s place is phenomenal! Neil was incredibly responsive and helpful with recommendations and ensuring everything was set up for us (including building a cosy fire for us!) The location is absolutely beautiful and a stone’s throw from Skye. Cosy and quaint the cottage is everything we expected and more. Honestly the pics don’t do the magic of Stromeferry justice. We hope to be back sometime soon.
