House vacation rentals in Shell Island

Melinda and I really enjoyed our stay at Santa Rosa Beach! Our host, Emily took excellent care to have the house ready for our arrival and was very responsive to answer questions after arrival. The house was everything we hoped for and are looking forward to returning. This was a vacation / working retreat for us and the house was the perfect for what we needed. It was quiet which allowed us to focus on business planning but also close to some very nice beaches when work was over, and we wanted to relax. Temperatures were a little cool from the winter snow that fell a few days before we arrived, so we utilize the exterior amenities this trip. However, there are plenty of ways to enjoy the exterior when we return. Thank you, Emily, for making our trip something we will always remember! Danny & Melinda

This place was beautiful. My family and myself had a great time here. It was cozy and comfortable and we were able to even check in earlier than expected. Ee would definitely stay here again.

House was plenty big enough for our crowd. Heated pool was a nice touch as evenings are cool in October. The rooms had the feel of their own privacy which was a nice touch. Kids loved being able to hang out upstairs in their own area. It is not a quiet house you can hear a pin drop but great location we walked right up the side walk to the beach and it’s just a few minutes drive in either direction to shopping and restaurants!! The beds and pillows !!!!!!! You will get excellent sleep they are so comfortable !!!

It was a very nice place. Had plenty of room for our party of 8. We did not get to use the pool due to very cold weather, but would rent again.

We really enjoyed the well furnished kitchen! Seating was nice for games and relaxing. Nice cotton sheets! Very clean- Just a couple Mile drive to the public beach.

Karen gave my family and I such a wonderful and stress free vacation from the moment we booked and beyond! She was very kind and reached out personally mutiple times to not only check on us but to even help excite us for the vacation. Her response time was immaculate! The house was also just like the pictures and we enjoyed all the amenities! What a deal for all the fun things to do under one roof! Even us older "kids" found ourselves on the trampoline and shooting hoops by the pool! The massage in the jacuzzi was the perfect ending to every night! It was a trip we will never forget and I can't wait to do it again! Thank you Karen!

We had the most wonderful experience at this beautiful house! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully considered to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable, especially for our kids. The house was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that felt like home. The amenities provided for children were fantastic! From toys to high chairs, everything we needed was right at our fingertips, which made our vacation stress-free and convenient. The host was incredibly responsive and friendly, always ready to assist with any questions we had, which added a personal touch to our stay. The location couldn’t have been better! Just a short walk to the beach, we spent countless hours enjoying the sun and surf. Plus, there were plenty of shops and amazing restaurants nearby, offering a variety of delicious food options that we loved exploring. This was a perfect spot for our family vacation. Everything lived up to expectations. There were a few problematic areas within the home from previous renters that had not been fixed or tended to but I understand it is hard when the home is booked out consistently! The only big issue in my opinion was the dusty air return right in the kitchen with no air filter. Other than that everything worked as it should. 2 remotes were missing but each remote worked with every TV so no big deal there. The neighbor was super nice and helpful with recommendations and keeping us informed of water conditions etc. I would stay here again for the hospitality that David displayed to us!

We absolutely loved our stay! We had everything we could have needed! The house was amazingly clean! We really appreciated the extra pillows and towels along with the super comfortable beds!! We loved everything about the house and you can tell that Kiersten puts so much effort into making her place a wonderful place to stay!

We had an extended stay at Maya’s place. The location was perfect, the house fit us well, and Maya was very responsive. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook a nice dinner in. Washer and dryer room was great because you had enough room to do laundry. Beds were very comfortable and bathrooms were large. We enjoyed our stay completely and would rent here again if we have the opportunity.

Brian was a great host during our stay. He was responsive and checked in with us to make sure our stay was going well. The home was truly beautiful and the showers were stunning (especially the master!) The home is literally 2 minutes to the beach and the third story has beautiful sunsets every night. We loved having coffee on the third floor balcony. I’d definitely recommend his place to future guests! Thanks again, Brain!

A beautiful home in a great location. Comfortably housed our group of six. The game room was a huge bonus on double red flag days. Private beach access is always a great benefit and means hauling fewer items down to the beach. This rental was perfect for our vacation and definitely worth the price.

Great place to stay for our family. Our grandkids loved the pool and the bunk beds. The open floor plan was great for family time. Golf cart and bikes provided an easy trip to the beach. Location of house is convenient to grocery store and restaurants. Chad and Angie were fantastic hosts.

1000 outta 10 would recommend!!! Megan and Jeff were exceptional hosts! Megan was super responsive and helpful from answering questions before and during my stay. The house is gorgeous with an absolutely amazing pool (which can be heated) fenced yard and has plenty of privacy! the pool has ambient lighting for those evening swims. The house is spacious and would suit a family or large group, but don't get it twisted this is the perfect location for a solo trip as well. The decor gives fun beach vibes, the beds and linens are super comfortable. the custom bunk bed are perfect for a girls trip. full kitchen, washer and dryer, huge TVs throughout. The hosts left no stone unturned they provide pretty much everything you need for a day at the beach (it's literally across the street). The house has plenty of parking and the back is the perfect place to dine day or night. it's conveniently located and only a few minutes from pier park with plenty of shopping, entertainment and food

The house was really nice, the pool was amazing and having a golf cart and bikes was really fun! We had a few minor things that came up with the house that we asked Echelon about and they sent someone right out to check on the issue or fix it if they could. The location was also just great and we had a great time using the house.

Josh is an excellent host - the communication pre-stay and during the stay was spot on. The house was very comfortable for two families with little ones. Arguably one of the best equipped kitchens we’ve had in an Airbnb. The outdoor spaces were very nice.

Excellent location and hosts! Very responsive and a great neighborhood! Easy to access beach and other attractions. Spent most of our time in the backyard and the game room!

I travel a lot with my kids and our 2 80 pound dogs I’ve never been more impressed with a home like this one it’s very simple but very homey pictures do not do it justice the area is amazing right by a college which makes u feel extremely safe water is everywhere I look it’s so beautiful words do not describe !!!I will definitely put this on our list of places to revisit !!!Thank u Mr.Chuck for allowing our little family to enjoy your amazing home

My stay at Denaes beautiful home was nothing short of amazing . They are very responsive . They checked on me throughout the stay to make sure I had everything I needed . The place was super clean and beautiful .. The neighborhood is amazing as well . I felt right at home with Denae. Would definitely recommend to anyone . Would definitely book again In the future .

Kelly and Sandy's place is beautiful! The house is spacious...we had 7 adults and a 5-year-old and there was plenty of space to where we weren't in each other's space. The furniture and beds were cozy. The TVs in the rooms are large. The bathrooms are great size and there are plenty of hooks in the bathrooms to hang towels, so they don't end up on the floor and lots of "cubbies" to put toiletries etc. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots/pans, dishes and utensils. They provide plenty of beach things (towels, wagon, toys, chairs etc.). We didn't have any issues at all! Kelly and Sandy are quick to respond and very nice. If we are ever back in the area, I would enjoy staying at this location again!

Chandra’s place was just as described. Very nicely decorated and clean. We had plenty of room for 5 adults and we had everything we needed. The walk to the beach was very short and convenient. We plan to visit again.
