This house was perfect

We had a great time with our son and his family of 8. Plenty of room for all of us. The beds were comfy, plenty of towels. The kids loved swimming in the pool but it was a little chilly for the adults. The water heater could be turned up for showers & washing dishes—there is no dishwasher which I didn’t realize but was not a problem. The location is great, easy walk to many restaurants and the main road to watch the sunset and a Soriana grocery. We felt very safe. When walking turn right leaving the house, first night we went left and it was a busy road and no sidewalk. Fabiola was great! Very helpful, answered all questions very promptly. Will return!!

The house is as shown, it is quite spacious, perfect for a large group, it is just far from the center but one street away there is a park and you can take a taxi there.

Wow, great vacation . Adorable hosts and very quick to respond to questions! If you have hot water issues or anything else, be sure they'll respond quickly! It was a pleasure to meet them and spend our vacation with them . We recommend the place for your stay

it was a pleasant experience you have many amenities a lot of privacy nadien annoys you. of coming back I will come back to look for this house. the excellent security. the excellent maintenance people let us in 1 hour before very friendly.. they answer your messages fast.. in this house pass one of my best vacations the pools completely clean. all around you shops restaurants .

Casa Sora was such an amazing house! We had a wonderful time with the entire place. The living room is spacious. The kitchen is large. The backyard is fantastic with the BBQ area and the pool. The deck on the top is fantastic. Even each of the bedrooms were great! I highly recommend staying here and I would ABSOLUTELY stay here again. We had a fantastic time. Victor was always very responsive and even got us in a bit early. Thank you!!

Very spacious and comfortable house to enjoy a weekend, few days or even one night with family and friends.

This condo was exactly as advertised. It was very well stocked with all we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. Extremely clean, very comfortable beds. We love the Palmar complex. This was our second time staying in the building and we felt right at home. Easy parking, friendly security staff, excellent beach bar and snorkeling right across the street. We dove two days and we were able to board our dive boat at Sunset Beach pier. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Perfect location in Playacar. It’s easy to walk to town but yet a gated and quiet place at night! Loved the stay and would return or maybe even buy a place here. It’s the best of all worlds and a great complex.

Sami was a great host. He was proactive to ensure that we had everything we needed and were happy guests throughout our stay. The condo itself was simple and had everything we needed. The pools in the common area are beautiful and get great afternoon sun. The Kay Beach Club that is available for guests is excellent and the public beach access is great. There’s a sandy walk in to the ocean that was great for kids to play in. The Tulum Country Club grounds are beautiful and the selection of restaurants close by are delicious options. O’Tan had a neat farmers market on Saturday morning and had live music on Sunday night - both were awesome. All in all, we had a fantastic stay - thanks Sami!

Unbeatable, the perfect place, quiet, safe, the apartment is beautiful, with all the amenities, excellent parking, the host was always concerned about us, upon arrival we found a welcome card, chocolates and a complimentary bottle of wine. We congratulate the host Bruno for his excellence. I recommend it 100%.

Easy entry using lockbox and key. Surfaces were clean. Quite a bit of sand still on the floor. I asked not to have the daily maid service and just did the sweeping myself. The kitchen was stocked well. It did have a blender (not listed) and a drip coffee maker. They did provide water. I need a fair amount of storage containers for food (I cut up fruit and salad items) and the Airbnb did not have much of that. Two boogie boards and a large sun umbrella for use. Showers had doors. The water got hot for showers and in the kitchen. This unit was on the second floor, so good for carrying items up if the elevator wasn't working. Balcony and houseplants were lovely. Beds comfortable. AC worked in all spaces. Black out blinds were helpful against morning sun. The pool and entry fountains are lovely. I would stay there again. Walk to Turtle Bay & Taverna was .8 miles. Close to Buena Vida, La Lunita, and Jungle cafe. North end of beach by the place with red umbrellas for easy enter to snorkel.

This was the best place I have ever stayed. Everything was nearby, so even though it rained heavily, I could access everything on foot. The interior space was exactly as shown in the photos, and it was very clean. I was very satisfied with the value for the price.

The place is exactly what is published. Everything clean and tidy, the host responded to our quick inquiries. The area is safe, with supermarkets nearby and places to eat. I'd come back without hesitation.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this house. The property is beautiful, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The pool was definitely a highlight — spacious, clean, and perfect for relaxing throughout the day. The cleaning service was also a real plus — everything was spotless from start to finish. A huge thank you to Francesca, who was incredibly helpful and responsive during our stay. We were there to organize our wedding, and there were still a few things to arrange — the chef, the boat, the shuttle… Francesca immediately stepped in, connected me with the right people, and made everything much easier. Her support truly made a difference and helped everything come together smoothly. I would absolutely recommend this place without hesitation.

Darryl's place is exceptional and exactly as listed and shown in pictures, even better actually. We really enjoyed the space, everything in the condo worked well and the kitchen was well equipped to cook meals. There were even a number of spices and things left from previous guests that we were able to utilize throughout our stay. We were also able to leverage the VIP transportation Darryl offers which was both economical and comfortable when going to and from the airport. In terms of tips while staying here, the market at The Royal Haciendas is excellent with almost everything you'd need and only about 5% markup over heading to an actual grocery store. It would be about a 15 minute walk to get there from the condo but is much easier with a car. On that note, you'll definitely want access to a car or will need to use a cab to get into downtown Playa or head to the grocery stores but the front security gate is awesome and they can call cabs for you. Each driver we met when using a cab was excellent to deal with. The trip into Playa is maybe 10 minutes if that. Hot tip, if you are going into Playa with a rental car and want to stroll down 5th Ave, park at the Quinta Alegria mall. Parking is underground, relatively cheap and it's central to some great stuff on 5th. You'll need pesos to pay for parking however. Usually 50 to 70 pesos for a longer stay. During our 2 week stay we also had a small issue with the garbage disposal in the sink and within the same day the property manager was there and it was fixed and even cleaned spotless. Very nice to see that level of service! Also, they have a great water cooler in the kitchen that takes big jugs of water that the property manager made sure we always had a full supply of so we didn't need to worry about having lots of drinking water on hand. You could also smell that the water coming from the taps is properly treated and clean. No issues brushing our teeth from the bathroom sink etc. The property amenities from the rooftop pool and deck area (which was awesome for morning yoga sessions or afternoon/evening drinks) through to the main shared pool just a few steps away was excellent and we really enjoyed them with our 4 year old and 7 year old. We also made use of the gym and had lunch at the golf course outdoor grill one afternoon which has some nice tacos. In closing the property and the host here were excellent. Darryl clearly cares that his guests have a great time and goes above and beyond answering questions, providing tips and helping you feel right at home. We'd love to come back and stay here again!

Great location, beautiful house. We were a group of 10 and had more than enough room. It’s worth pointing out that the casita, which has two bedrooms and could sleep 6 people, is located closer to the street. The main house has 4 bedrooms. Because we had kids, we didn’t use the casita much. The view from the backyard is beautiful. Carlos was very responsive. Would recommend.

The spot and view are amazing and breathtaking. The condo had all that we were looking for - starting with a comfortable bed, which is not always the case in AirBnBs. When there were too many around the pool area, you could go back to your private deck and put on some noise-cancelling headphones. A positive surprise: at the pool, there is a bar where you can order endless... cocktails! The location is quiet after 10 PM, while being very close to the famous Fifth Avenue where all the tourist restaurants are, but you can also wander around it and find some interesting spots. There is also a big supermarket where you can find everything, including a $2,500 wine bottle !, at a 5-minute walk. If you want to be picky, the pool water (in December) was fresh but not cold + we never found a bread toaster.

After our previous Airbnb cancelling last minute, we thought we were out of options. Luckily, we found Andres’ penthouse. Plunge pool was so needed after a long day’s walk, every neighbor was pleasant, check-in was a breeze. Walkable from 5th, as well as some of the off the beaten path restaurants and bars that we prefer. I felt safe and welcomed, grocery shopping just across the street as well! We had such an amazing time, I would come back to this spot when returning to PDC.

This Airbnb was everything we hoped for and more! The location was absolutely unbeatable — just steps from the beach with stunning ocean views and the sound of waves lulling us to sleep each night. The space was clean, beautifully decorated, and felt like a true home away from home. We especially loved the outdoor seating area for morning coffee and evening cocktails. Cecilia and Orane were incredibly responsive and helpful, offering great local tips and making sure we had everything we needed. We didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended

I can’t say enough good things about our stay! The house was gorgeous, the staff made delicious home cooked meals every day, and continuously cleaned up after us! Patricia and Yessi checked in and made sure we were happy with our accommodations. This was such a special stay and experience and I would highly recommend it!
