Cabin vacation rentals in Portsmouth

The place is ideal for the trip plans we had. It's close to both Bournemouth and Southampton which is where we were planning to visit. We only stayed in during the morning for breakfast to eat and in the evening to sleep as we are always out and about during the day. There are plenty of shops nearby (5-7 mins drive) as well as takeaway restaurants. The place is also very child friendly. Plenty of toys to play with, sandbox outside and travel cot. Karen the host was very responsive and helpful. She still managed to accommodate our needs even though we booked the place at the last minute. We were really pleased with our stay and as soon as we walked in the house, it felt homey straight away. I would highly recommend this place as it is in a peaceful and in a quiet area and plus there is a designated parking space for 2. I would definitely come back to stay here again. If only this had a private hot tub, we would have enjoyed our stay even more as the swimming pool can get really packed.

We had the most wonderful few days. I stayed with an old school friend and her 1 Yr old Cockerpoo, Bonnie. The cabin was as described and the hot tub was just wonderful. Helen was very helpful and Bonnie loved Helen's dog Saffie Thank you for providing the bolt hole I needed before heading back to deal with my husband's treatment. I will definitely be back. Jacks caravan was perfect! From start to finish jacks communication was great. Accommodating with early check in and the little extras milk, bread etc were really appreciated. The caravan had everything we needed the kids especially loved the hot tub. We will definitely book again next time we visit the Isle of Wight.

Both Garth and Marie was brilliant, I couldn’t fault them. Even was able to check in earlier and was able to leave later. Very clean. Hot tub was amazing and all ready for our arrival plus a bottle of fizz to start our getaway for the weekend. Our dogs enjoyed the surroundings. And plenty to do in the area x

We had a weekend away with friends. The space was lovely. The hot tub was at the perfect temperature when we arrived. Lots of space for 5 ladies. Very quiet and peaceful and just a 10 min drive into Winchester city centre. Thanks for a great stay.

It was just right for our Easter break. Everything was clean, cosy and comfortable. The location was perfect for visiting the New Forest, the coast and nature reserves.

We booked this for 3 nights for a last minute break in the Easter Holidays. It was a lovely space for a family of 4 with everything we needed. The holiday park itself is very clean with plenty to do. You will need to pay for a pass to use the facilities (including the restaurant) which worked out £100 for a family of 4. The indoor swimming pool got very busy, however, I think this was because the outdoor pool wasn't open yet and it was a bit chilly for the beach - so I imagine that during the summer people spread out a bit more! We booked the The Beachcomber restaurant for our first evening. The food was ok but it was a fun place to eat as a little robot brings your food over. Overall, we had a lovely break and we would probably return in the future.

Paul & Mel’s place was excellent; comfy, well maintained, plenty of amenities and a great location for Freshwater and the rest of the island. Paul & Mel were most welcoming and always on hand to answer any questions. Would definitely stay again.

brilliant stay at "Petes pad". we love the IOW and come every easter for the last 16 years. best stay yet.!! felt so at home, kids loved a room each and all the games and space to play them both inside and outside. Ian was a brilliant host, communities and helpful. what an amazing g week away. and Ian even provided amazing weather.! something whi h in our experience e is a toss up on the IOW at Easter.!! thank you Ian and Family for letting us stay at your place

A lovely place to stay - the Shed is really charming. Lots of lovely finishing touches from the fire pit to the fairy lights. The area is so beautiful and peaceful. Lots to do in walking distance too - if you are looking for a quiet stay close to nature (and with some good local pubs nearby) this is it! What a beautiful place! We had such a lovely stay. Perfect place for resting and relaxing, beautiful views from the cabin with fabulous sunsets, and so quiet - all we heard was birds singing and lambs bleating. The cabin is very comfortable. Great for the two of us plus our two dogs. Enclosed garden so no worry about dogs escaping and private space to sit outside. Good size bedroom with plenty of storage, very comfy bed and great shower. So many places to walk straight from the cabin, miles of public footpaths in every direction through beautiful countryside. Philip is very a helpful and friendly host. All in all a great stay and we definitely hope to return.

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Anna’s! It was very peaceful and relaxing and we are missing it already! Anna couldn’t have done more to make our trip so special and we will definitely be back. As it was my girlfriend’s birthday, we wanted somewhere special to celebrate and this was perfect in every way! Thank you!

Firstly Host is really responsive, makes recommendations if requested, goes the extra mile with small touches like toiletry, kids toys, jam/buscuits, coffee etc. Place is spotless Location is quiet and not far from clubhouse Value is exception Chrissy was great, allowed an early and late check out if we wanted. Just returned from a fantastic stay. The lodge was perfect, well thought out in terms of what you need on holiday and games and things to do as well. But the main high light is the swimming pool! What a gem! Fantastic size and depth pool with heaps of pool toys. Water was a lovely inviting temperature. We would love to come back.

A cosy, comfy, cute cabin, perfect for a weekend away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Easy access to the centre. Simone was a wonderful host, communicated perfectly and gave us some recommendations. The Prosecco in the fridge was a lovely touch too! Highly recommend!

Della is a super host and the cabin is very homey. My daughters keeps on asking to be back to the cabin whenever we are out. It's funny how the universe works, meeting David and Della was turn out to be a surprisingly interesting. Can’t wait to see how it goes. Hopefully we will be able to see guys in the near future. FYI, I love the milk in the fridge even though it wasn’t came from your cows. Thank you for your hospitality. Cheers.

Cannot fault the place, really beautiful lodge we really really enjoyed our stay. Excellent value for money Everything you needed in the lodge. Peaceful surroundings. Shop, parks for kids & cooked meals available on site. 30 mins from Peppa Pig World. Only issue we had was finding the place, it was dark & I guess the directions they provide might work better if you come from a different direction but we went past the crossroads getting to the provided postcode, so then ended up driving further than we needed to, but we figured it out and it didn't take us too long, not ideal after a long journey tho.

Staying in this lovely little cabin on the Isle of Wight has been one of the most peaceful, soul-soothing experiences we’ve had in a long time. The studio itself is beautifully designed—simple, but with every little detail thought out. It was warm, welcoming, and just so cozy. We felt right at home from the moment we stepped in. a perfect mix of comfort, charm, and quiet. Easy access to transport. Everything was clean, well-kept, and the bed?. We slept like babies every night.The whole town experienced a brief power cut during our stay, but the host went above and beyond to make sure we were safe and looked after. And of course, we can’t forget Frank, the host’s pet, who made our hearts melt instantly. We ended up extending our stay by two more days-because honestly, we just weren’t ready to leave. This cabin gave us calm, connection, and comfort in the most beautiful way. Thank you so much for creating such a safe and soulful space. We’re already dreaming about our next visit.

A beautiful well equipped home from home lodge. Had everything we needed and more. My son was especially pleased and surprised to have a ps4, was appreciated on a wet day. Woukd highly recommend this lodge, a nice location to explore the island, however and this is no reflection on the lodge, the park is abit tired in places and we didnt use the pool we used a local leisure centre which was fab.

A lovely little cabin in the heart of the New Forest. It felt magical early morning with the mist rising across fields full of ponies! A definite joy to stay in and destress. we took a long lead that screwed into the ground which was a good move as both of our dogs would have been able to fit through the fence into the pony field. But otherwise, couldn’t fault it and the shower was fab! Definitely a 5/5!

Lovely stay in the cabin, and David was a very friendly and helpful host! Cabin lovely, well equipped, and in a very quiet & peaceful location. Highly recommend!
