Cottage vacation rentals in Portsmouth

Very enjoyable stay, nicely renovated house with some nice extra touches - thank you. Hosts gave helpful recommendations to local places, we had a delicious Sunday Roast at the Green Dragon, Brook, (recommendation booking) We also downloaded the New Forest app to help choose places to walk, giving information and time frames etc, we also visited the Saturday market in Lymington. House is a good base, well equipped with good facilities that is in a peaceful and private location. Jacuzzi was also very much enjoyed.

We booked this little gem as a last minute half term getaway and are so we did - great location for visiting local attractions such as the Wittering, Chichester, and Portsmouth. Spotlessly clean and fully equipped, Wisteria Lodge (and the hot tub…wow!) is a wonderful place to stay. Thank you to Jane and Jeremy.

Really relaxing, comfortable and peaceful. Superb decking area and private garden area. Lots of places to visit and the setting is lovely. In fact, met all our expectations and more! Really pleasant stay in sumptuous surroundings. Outstanding host!

Neil was a great and flexible host. We based ourselves in the Airbnb over Christmas and he made a special effort to make it feel festive, with a Christmas tree and decorations. On arrival he came to welcome us and show us how the stove and hot tub worked. The house was spotlessly clean and comfortable and everything done to a high standard. Directions to the cottage were 100 % easy to follow. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay, everything was exactly as in the photos if not better. We loved the log fired hot tub, and the stylish, modern interior. The bed was super comfortable, and all the furnishings were extremely luxurious. Winchester was only 20 mins away by Uber, and we enjoyed a lovely meal at the Ivy on Saturday night. All in all a fabulous weekend.

We have had a wonderful stay . Julia and James are fantastic hosts , always there to help and offer guidance. The cottage was fabulous. Very quirky , cosy and unexpectedly quiet (due to the central location) . We slept incredibly well. My husband especially enjoyed sitting in the garden in the evening with a glass of wine listening to the water feature. We didn’t use the garden room as only 4 of us but looking to book next year as it would be a great room for the grandparents. Thank you so much James and Julia. The converted stable has been finished to a very high standard and is absolutely beautiful. Fabulous bathroom with a lovely roll top bath as well as an excellent shower. Kitchen finished to a very high spec with all needed utensils in place. Bed was extremely comfortable with great quality pillows & duvet. The hot tub was the icing on the cake, which we enjoyed every day. We were lucky enough to see two red squirrels when out walking early in the morning as well as a barn owl 🥰

Had a lovely weekend at the cottage, very cosy and comfortable, the log burner was lovely and kept the cottage really warm. The hot tub was great to relax in and we had a clear night so did some star gazing. The only downside to the cottage was having to leave.

Lovely cottage in a great location. Plenty of space. We travelled in February and the weather was cold - there was plenty of hot water and the heating kept us warm. Perfect for a family - it allowed us to be together because there’s a big table and lots of sofa space. But it also gave us space for a bit of quiet time - the bedrooms are a good size so the teenager could chill out by themselves. It worked well for us

Spent a very pleasant weekend in the property whilst visiting Titchfield for a family get-together. The cottage, although quite plain from the outside, is full of character, warm and was spotlessly clean. Location is in the centre of the village, two local stores close by (2 min walk) for stocking up food and drink etc. Located on the lane that leads to the church parking can be “problematic” - but that said we had no problems. Good communication from managing team, easy check in and out. Would certainly use again.

Absolutely perfect cottage for us, everything you need for a lovely stay. Warm and cosy for a evening in after spending the day exploring the beautiful local countryside, our first visit to the area and definitely won’t be the last.

we loved our stay at manor farm. the house was a treasure trove of beautiful old beams, and architectural features and fun stuff for kids and adults alike. I loved cooking on the aga and playing the piano! way bigger than expected and such a lovely peaceful location. we didn't want to leave

Fantastic property with beautiful comfy furniture and 2 en suite bathrooms. Such a peaceful place to relax and perfect for visiting the Army Flying Museum.

This is a lovely place in the middle of the Isle of Wight making it handy for whenever the day takes you. It has beautiful views over the adjacent field of wild flowers and sheep. What a beautiful sight to wake up to!

An absolutely WONDERFUL cottage! The vibes, the cleanliness, the location next to the little river, the bedrooms and the kitchen are all first class. This is a real gem - a gorgeous and spacious place in a wonderful area. Very quiet, private, cozy and with fantastic beds. Excellent and easy communication with the host Emma. There’s not many air bnbs like this nowadays. Book it!

Spacious, very comfortable cottage in a beautiful estate in the New Forest, with wildlife all around you. Perfect location from which to explore the area. Sandra welcomed us on arrival and provided a lot of useful information.

This is a very charming hatched cottage/house. The pictures don't do it justice as its even better once you arrive. Finding the house was fun as it didn't quite come up the the GPS but once we did we couldn't believe this was where we would be staying! We then spent the first 20 minutes literally exploring the house, finding all the many bathrooms, and just saying 'wow'! The kitchen is brilliant: 6 burner hob and two ovens, plus two sinks in the middle 'island'. Dining room table is absolutely massive and perfect for playing the many board games stored in the lounge. There are some nice paths behind the house that are fun to walk and there is plenty to do in the area: close to Romsey and Salisbury and also the New Forest (we are into geocaching so had a blast!). Overall we had a fantastic stay and I'd highly recommend this to anymore considering it.

Lovely quiet location but conveniently close to Beaulieu, Exley Gardens and Lymington, and of course the New Forest. Comfortable property with a spacious kitchen - we really enjoyed our stay.
