Sylishly decorated and comfortable, with a small kitchenette; en-suite bathroom complete with modern shower and a woodburner for those cooler evenings. In the evenings sit and watch the sun go down around your fire pit or stay cosy indoors with your log burner. We are a working farm and you may see the tractor trundle past feeding our herds of Texal sheep (Lambing right in front of you in March/April 2025!) and Limousin cows grazing in fields, or watch the many birds. You have your own secluded, fenced and private garden area with seating.

We had a lovely weekend staying at the Starlight hut, it was a great way for us to unwind from a busy week and take a step back from technology! We played board games and even went for a walk in the rain (with a hot chocolate to warm up afterwards). The surrounding area is beautiful and I absolutely love that the horses can be seen from the hut! Thank you for a lovely stay, would love to see more in the summer sun.

Dolly is my new go-to retreat. Beautiful surroundings, it’s so peaceful, and there are some incredible walks, as well as a choice of various dog fields on the farm that you can book. Jo was brilliant, on hand if needed. I recommend taking a walk to the Falcon where we had the best Sunday roast! It’s a 40 minute walk through the village and across the paddocks and fields, They welcome dogs. Stunning pub, lovely gardens, and excellent food and service. I’m looking forward to going back to Dolly again very soon. Thanks Jo!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hut, it was super cosy and had everything we could need for a weekend. The surroundings were so peaceful, perfect destination to decompress after a busy week. Sitting outside with a coffee in the morning watching some magnificent birds in the sky, couldn’t beat it. Some beautiful walks nearby and also a great location for bike packing. We will definitely be coming back.

Hut was quaint, comfortable and warm for our winter stay and we had all we needed. Was wonderful to see the sheep close by. Area is pretty and nearby towns offer a lot of history, resturants and shops ect. Hosts at site were friendly, welcoming and we arrived to feshly baked bread which was devine. Fridge in hut was a little smaller than expected but we managed.

We had the best weekend, such a gorgeous location. Close to everything and surrounded by fields. Lovely hosts and a beautiful home! Just a quick mention - the hut is very close to the house which we didn’t mind and not enclosed for the dogs so had to walk them to go toilet so if that is something you don’t like or need. It’s good to know. Overall we would 100% recommendation and return x
