Lovely, homely cottage in a great location for exploring the rest of the Cotswolds. The Killingworth Castle (cosy local gastropub) is just a 5 min walk away from the property. A perfect base for a long weekend in the country.

We have had a wonderful week in The Shooting Lodge, the views were beautiful and it is set in a peaceful and tranquil spot, so we instantly relaxed. The lodge was equipped with everything we needed, the bedroom was lovely and comfortable and the bathroom was extremely clean and had a lovely shower with additional luxuries to make it even more enjoyable. Anthony and Julia were both very friendly and made us feel really welcomed. We have had a super holiday and we recommend this place for an ideal tranquil get away to relax.

we had a lovely girls getaway here. really great open plan area. the cottage had everything we needed, towels, loo roll, hand soaps, washing liquid, tea towels etc. they even provided a quite substantial welcome basket which we ate most of! the rooms were comfortable and clean. two of us stayed in the adjoining rooms that were just out the front door and they were also in keeping with the main cottage. the outside area is compact and covered, such a bonus to have the hot tub!

Myself and 3 friends went to the Cottage and had a lovely time! The location is perfect to explore the Cotswolds from and there is a lovely pub in the village if you’re wanting to stay local! David was extremely responsive via message and phone calls (especially when we locked ourselves out in the evening when getting in the hot tub🤣).

We had a lovely time at Philippa’s cottage. The cottage is lovely, very clean and in an amazing location. Philippa is a great host and we could not recommend it enough.

This was our second time staying at Jo’s place, and for good reason… it’s perfect! Very clean, beautiful location and well-equipped cottage. We’ll be booking again for trip number 3!

My family and I had a wonderful stay in this beautiful cottage. Excellent location, within walking distance of Stow-on-the-Wold village. Super clean and cosy cottage, plenty of space for us, and perfect little garden for the dog. Easily accessible with parking available. David was a very attentive host and responded quickly to our messages. There was a lovely touch made by leaving local chocolates upon our arrival, and fresh milk. Perfect. Highly recommend. Family friendly!

Sarah was a friendly and responsive host. The cottage was beautiful and we were welcomed with fresh milk and Prosecco which was a really lovely touch! The cottage is situated in beautiful surroundings and a 45 minute walk to the gorgeous Burford. We had a fabulous, relaxing New year stay! Thankyou Sarah xx

Great house, beautiful location. Good dog walks locally, nice pub and restaurant next door. Plenty of space in the house for bigger groups, loads of parking and the garden was great.

A beautiful cottage in an idyllic setting. The perfect place to stay to re charge the batteries. Our weekend was spent relaxing in front of the log fire, walking our dogs along the many footpaths on the doorstep and enjoying the lovely food at the dog friendly local pubs, which are only a short walk away. Rachel was a wonderful host, responsive and helpful and the cottage was spotless upon our arrival.

It was a lovely stay at a beautiful cottage. The cottage was everything we hoped for a little two day get away. We spent time on local walking footpaths and getting to know the local pubs. Our recommendations are; The Falcon, Ye Olde Reine Deer Inn and The Blinking Owl over the road. The owners of the Blinking Owl were lovely hosts, really traditional English pub and great food from Sylvia! We spent our New Years Eve there and it was a lovely evening. Couldnt have asked for a better stay. Mary was super helpful and responsive on the run up to the stay. We hope to visit again soon.

We needed somewhere convenient to visit some good gastro pubs and a location that catered for our dogs. This totally met our expectations. The communal garden at the back was perfect for our two golden retrievers. Everything was as stated.

We had a beautiful stay at this cottage. We arrived early, Ross allowed for an early check in. the heating was on, place spotless and a few bottles of wine in the fridge. We found the house to have everything and more that we needed. The furnishing and decoration was to a very high standard and the bed was extremely comfy. The location was perfect for us, not far from shops/pubs and many walking routes. We can’t recommend this stay enough! and will certainly be returning in the summer for more walks with our dog.

Absolutely perfect stay!! We loved this cottage so much and such lovely village. Jo went out of her way to make the cottage amazing! We had lots of delicious treats left 😃 we will definitely be coming back to stay again! Thank you so so much Jo and hope you all had a fab Christmas 🎄

Hannah and Vincent were exceptional hosts. The little cottage has been very well thought out. Everything you need and more. The lovely wood burner just added to the cozy feel of the place. Lots of extras like, cleaning products, plenty of toilet paper, kitchen roll, bathroom products, shower gel, shampoo etc. Plenty of soft fluffy towels. Hannah dropped off extra bedding as we were staying for 1 month, a small bin for the bathroom and bin bags and a very nice bottle of wine! Tea, coffee with a great coffee machine. Walking distance to some great pubs and restaurants. Two local supermarkets, fab butcher, bakers and some very nice coffee shops. In easy reach of Daylesford organic, Diddly squat farm shop and lots more. For anyone travelling by car will need to look at parking times, Hannah sent helpful instructions, but like us you can easily travel by train to Kingham station and get a taxi ( we used A1 taxis in chipping Norton, really reliable and friendly service) Recommend 5*

Stayed at Henrys place with my dad while visiting Silverstone circuit for a weekend event (great location for this only 10 minute's drive). The barn was spotlessly clean, warm, cosy and very peaceful. We had a great stay!

Gorgeous cottage made for the perfect stay. Comfiest beds, brilliantly appointed kitchen - a super easy and cosy place to hang out with a good spacious lounge. A true home from home. Great walks straight from the front door. Alan was super helpful and accommodating. Can’t recommend enough.

We were three couples away for a long weekend and were delighted with the property. We had decided before leaving that we would be eating in on two of the nights as we all love to cook, the kitchen and the layout was lovely, enabling a few of us to cook and prepare at once, resulting in some great memories. The location is excellent, a couple of hundred yards from the town, and being so close, it took 10 minutes to sort the parking as we had three cars. A lovely home and a great location, we would stay again.

A lovely bolt hole for a weekend getaway from the stresses of life. Cosy and everything you need. Great to have a fully-fitted kitchen making it easy to prepare food too! I’m sure we’ll be back 🙂

Lovely little cottage nestled in Chadlington. Lost to do around the village and right in middle of other little towns so not far for travel.

Lovely stay, everything was easy. The place was very clean and had a well stocked kitchen with all appliances, pans etc for cooking meals. Surrounding area and village is perfect for walks. Would certainly recommend.
