House vacation rentals in Oxfordshire

A truely beautiful home , great location . Victoria was always on hand if we needed anything . Very approachable and friendly. An early family Christmas together and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to be .

We had a lovely Easter weekend here as a three-generation family – grandparents, parents, and young children all thoroughly enjoyed it! The house is absolutely beautiful , stylish, and full of character, set in a peaceful spot, it even includes an old water-mill. The location was ideal for us with easy access to Oxford and the surrounding area. There’s a new children's play area just a short walk away, and the local farm shop nearby was perfect for picking up fresh produce and treats – we had everything we needed without having to go far. The hosts were thoughtful and welcoming, and the house was spotless with everything we could need for a comfortable stay. Plenty of space for everyone to relax.

We thoroughly enjoyed the house and location. Although not Sians issue, construction near the train station makes it difficult to get into town by taxi because you have to go around the city. However, if you don’t mind walking and bicycling, there are exceptional bike and walking paths right out to the house from Oxford. I’d stay again in a heart beat.

Beautiful house and surrounding garden area, the boys loved playing in the games room, house had everything we needed. Some of the pictures are out dated, only affected what we had planned for sleeping arrangements. One of the beds is a sofa bed, kitchen has been updated. The barn in the pictures is now a converted annex which someone was staying in whilst we were there. Communication could have been better prior to the stay as asked a couple of questions with no response until the owner was providing other information to me a couple of days before the stay. Overall we had a brilliant stay in a wonderful location, thank you.

We stayed for just one night, and it was a perfect stopover. Very tidy and had everything we needed. Georgina is very friendly, she gave us some milk too when we realised we forgot some. They've got two lovely dogs, a gorgeous garden and a very spacious bath. Georgina was very flexible with our check-out time since there were no guests the next day. We left around 1pm. The barn is beautiful and very well fitted out. Fabulous setting, absolutely stunning and super peaceful and quiet. The one bathroom was challenging at times with a party of adults but the rest of the barn is faultless and such a joy to stay in. The tennis court and other amenities were fabulous.

We had a very comfortable stay in this beautiful and well-equipped house. It was perfect for our extended family get-together. Thank you!

Abbie's place was fantastic for us to meet up with grandparents for a couple of days after new year. The weather was super frosty, great views & sunrise from the house. Good job the heating was really effective keeping the place cosy. Twenty minute drive to Stowe NT for a lovely walk & 5 min drive to the Folly in Towcester for a cracking meal. We're into coldwater swimming and Abbie kindly let us use the pool out of season - first time I've had to crack the ice to get in some water ! The sauna after was amazing & only took 20 mins to warm up. Imagine it must be lovely with the pool in summer. We'd definitely recommend and would like to come back.

A great cottage in the heart of Woodstock. Beautifully decorated with interesting (antique) furniture, pristine kitchen and bathroom and comfortable bedrooms. The central location makes it easy to access the town's great selection of pubs, cafes and restaurants, whilst the double glazing means that it is still very quiet.

Really lovely property. Spacious, well equipped and immaculately clean. Perfect for my team working on a project locally. Lisa's communication was always timely, accurate and friendly. We would definitely stay again if the need arises.

Lovely, spotlessly clean, peaceful house and clearly a lot of care had been put into details. Check-in was straightforward and Leima gave great instructions. Bedrooms were comfortable and spacious and it was great to have an ensuite in every one! The kitchen was well equipped and the toys in the living room were very welcome! The graveled garden has plenty of seating and great for the children to let off steam. Had been concerned about toddlers on gravel, but it had the distinct advantage of not being muddy after a shower of rain! The neighbourhood is quiet and the house is in easy walking distance to a small supermarket and playground. Laima is a lovely host, she responded quickly and was always very helpful. Highly recommend this house!

Had a great stay at Maria's very cosy accommodation whilst we were visiting family in Oxford. Great location for the city centre. Beautiful house very spacious and modern and the beds are so comfy. Will definitely stay again. Used a number of places over the years in Oxford but this was one of our favourites.

We were very satisfied with the property and the area was convenient to get into Oxford. Would recommend it as a place to stay.

The cottage is peaceful and private, as well as being in a beautiful location. Alastair and Vicky are excellent hosts and were most responsive to my requests. Highly recommended.

A great stay for us, a 7 person walking group with dog. A lovely house, modern, clean and well provisioned with lots of little touches to make it even better. A spacious house with light airy rooms , a cosy living room, and an enclosed safe garden for dogs or children, or just sitting out in the sun. Many thanks Sally

If you are after home from home , this is great. It is by main road, so traffic noise may bother some, but it wasn’t an issue for our family. If you didn’t want windows open there are fans in each room. Shops all within walking distance . Good place for a base to explore/shop or like us for family to be together before a wedding

We spent 50 days at Fulwell House during January and February and had a fantastic stay. The house is full of character, with thick stone walls, exposed beams, and a bright, modern kitchen that became our favorite space. It felt warm, welcoming, and just right for a longer visit. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and incredibly peaceful. We saw deer, foxes, badgers, pheasants, and a variety of songbirds every day—robins, wrens, finches, and more. Living abroad, it was a real treat to see so much wildlife. We fished the stream behind the house a few times (no luck!) and enjoyed miles of walks on quiet lanes. The kids and dogs were in heaven. Evenings were spent by the fire with a book or film, often with visiting friends and family. There was plenty of space for everyone. Yola was a brilliant host—friendly and responsive—and Edward, the owner, was always available if anything came up. Their support made everything easy. We’d absolutely stay again if the opportunity arises.

The house was excellent – clean, cozy, and perfectly located. We especially loved the great selection of restaurants just a short walk away. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We’d definitely love to come back and highly recommend it to others!
