Fantastic stay, Janet was the perfect host and the accommodation exceeded our expectations. Janet also provided lots of recommendations, an awesome hamper of breakfast goodies and was great at communicating instructions. We will definitely return.

Great little classic cottage. Very quirky and really pretty. Ideally located to the pub opposite and walking distance to the swan pub/hotel which is great and right by the trout farm which is worth a visit. Showers are really good and the separate bothy annex is a really nice addition especially if you have geusts that cant go up the stairs very easily. Thanks again cant wait to come back. Love Bibury

We are a couple in our 30’s, we visited over Easter with our dog. It was very easy to check in to the cottage once we arrived, the location was very private and peaceful. The cottage was absolutely beautiful, exactly as described, it had everything we needed and was so cosy! We had even been left a welcome box with some cupcakes/crisps, wine and an Easter egg which is such a nice touch! The decor is so nice, kitchen was great as we like to cook dinners on staycations and the bathroom is lovely! Also made great use of the hot tub every day! We walked around the village a lot with the dog, there is a nice village shop and a pub a 5 min walk from the cottage which was dog friendly and had a really nice vibe! We had a roast there for lunch on the Sunday also and this was great! We had an amazing stay and we would definitely come back, we loved how close by all of the other Cotswold villages were for visiting and this was such a nice base to come back to each day! We absolutely loved our stay at rectory retreat, the setting was beautiful and it was so peaceful. The accommodation had everything we needed and was very cleverly thought out. The hot tub looking out onto open fields under the stars was the cherry on the cake! Would definitely recommend staying here.

We stayed at the cabin earlier this week and enjoyed every minute of our stay. There were four adults and three dogs and there was plenty of space without feeling cramped. The photos do not do it justice! The cabin and the garden are well kept and have so many interesting decorations. There is so much to see and do that we didn’t feel the need to visit any pubs or anything, as we didn’t want to leave the cabin. Marc was a great host - friendly and accommodating. He offered us a free late check-out as he had no guests coming the following day. The welcome hamper was certainly a nice touch! We loved playing pool and darts with the surround sound music playing, as well as grilling on the BBQ and playing on the garden swing. The dogs had so much fun exploring the garden and watching the ducks in the river. We will definitely be booking again in the future as it was our favourite air b&b to-date.

We have had a wonderful short break. As a family of 4 with two young children, we felt right at home as soon as we arrived. The accommodation was immaculate and so cosy. The hot tub was a fab extra and the hoburne park had lots of entertainment. The lakes and walks nearby are stunning and we will definitely be returning.

We loved The Yurt. It’s such quirky and comfortable place. Our only negative is that we couldn’t stay longer than one night. We would love to have stayed longer. Loved it and would highly recommend!

The cottage was great, in beautiful gardens. We finally played tennis with the kids on the last day and it is sat in the most peaceful picturesque gardens. The holiday was about meeting up with family and all the young children; the cottage was perfect for what we wanted. Jill gave us great recommendations. We visited many of the places she told us about, the zoo, the castle and a few pubs to eat in. Overall great first visit to the Cotswolds. Thanks Mike.

I had a great stay at Rachel’s place! The space was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. It’s located in a beautiful area, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Rachel was a great host, and I’d definitely stay here again!

Lovely home with ample space, beautiful facilities, and near to the best villages in the Cotswolds. The Airbnb is very homely and made us feel comfortable right away.

Eva was a fantastic host - so friendly, communicative and very accommodating. We stayed in the property over Christmas - it was very spacious and beautifully decorated for Christmas. Eva made it feel so welcoming and homely for us. She left welcome treats for the children and the adults, and a manual with all the ‘need to know’ information. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with all the utensils we needed for our Christmas dinner! The property is superb and in the most beautiful location. We enjoyed many walks around the local countryside and enjoyed watching the wildlife in the back garden - deer, foxes, pheasants, squirrels, as well as the resident chickens! We had the perfect stay. Thank you so much to Eva and her family.

Nicky was a great host and the house was very clean, well kitted out and a lovely relaxing place to stay. My girls loved the tennis court and we would definitely visit again.

We had a lovely long weekend at the cottage, it was perfectly located for beautiful dog walks and the local pubs were fantastic and easily reached on foot. The cottage had everything we needed and was spotless, Rachel is a great host and was very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay!

We were a family party with ages from 5 to 75 . Lots for everyone to do ( swimming , tennis, billiards/snooker & beautiful walks all there) There was enough space both inside the wonderfully converted barn and outside in the extensive grounds to enjoy each others company without being overcrowded. Thanks Sarah for enabling a lovely weekend .

What an amazing find. We have just returned from a fabulous stay with our children, at Chris and Alexandra’s gorgeous cottage - the photos don’t do it justice. So much to do and the most stunning views - there really is something for everyone. We didn’t want to leave. Chris and Alexandra were excellent hosts - helpful, friendly and responsive. We definitely will be returning.

Heron's Nest is in a very beautiful location just west of Swindon with great access to Cirencester and surrounding Cotswold villages. Hillary was extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. There is a secure back garden, perfect for pets and with a stunning view. There are a few walks around the local fields/property which was perfect for a morning walk with the dog. Very clean and tidy inside. We were surprised to find a smart TV with the usual streaming services. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to explore the Cotswolds.
