Ski-in/Ski-out vacation rentals in Ohio River

The house was perfect for our crew! After the first day getting the rental gear and lift ticket, it was easy to just walk up the hill to the end of the road where one of the lifts are located. We came back for lunch each day and it was really easy for some to start early or late and finish the same, without having to wait on others! We would stay here again and I plan on recommending it to others who want to stay near Beech!!

Allure came through for my family at the last minute when our Vacasa canceled on us 4 hours before our check-in for false excuse. This home was not only as described but it was beautifully decorated and the kitchen and every bathroom were fully stocked with additional amenities! Nothing was left out or needed! Allure was so quick to respond, easy to work with, and their communication was perfect. Thank you for helping make our family vacation special!

Loved the location and cozy home! Dennis was very responsive and helpful. The proximity to the ski lift was amazing. The home was cozy and nice. Beautiful views. Would definitely return. Everybody loved it!

Ryan was an awesome host, and it was clearly evident that making the guest feel at home was his number one priority. The chalet was beautifully maintained and everything was in perfect condition, not to mention that all of the kitchen appliances, TVs, etc were all up-to-date and in nearly brand new shape. Ryan was extremely responsive and answered any questions or concerns I had within 15 minutes or less. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a prime location on Beech Mountain!

My family had the best stay here! It’s such a warm and welcoming space with a great design. Being located right on easy street made it super convenient for me and my boys to go right out and start skiing for the day. Amy was so nice and responsive during the whole trip. We will definitely book this place again!

Very nice place and the slopes to the ski resort is right in the back. House is very cozy. Parking is a bit challenging as expected in the area so plan ahead to bring 1-2 cars

The condo was on main level from parking lot. The walk to the slopes is a bit uphill and takes about 10 mins. Get a locker, it is well worth it, if you want to walk. The king bedroom uses the hall bath and the 2 queens are in the master with en suite full bath.

Decent place. Backyard leads directly to the magic carpet ski slope. Washer and dryer worked. Limited hot water. TV was dated, no options for streaming. Value is found in the ski-in/ski-out aspect. But even so, the rates being charged by all ski-in/ski-out rentals is absurd.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It's very easily walkable to the slopes. Rentals at Fred's Mercantile are a short walk away and were a breeze. Frank is extremely personable and seemed to genuinely enjoy having guests and was very a accommodating host. Looking forward to making this a tradition.

We had a wonderful stay there the past few days. The condo was well laid-out and decorated nicely with a welcoming feel. Everything was clean and comfortable. The kids had a great time in the pool and hot tub. We hope to stay there again in the future. :)

Cindy’ place was such a wonderful get away for my son’s 18th birthday and Christmas. Condo was spotless, I would even say maybe they did extra cleaning since this is a pet friendly unit, and my son is allergic. He did not react once! She has every kind of kitchen supply and utensil you can think of, and labeled. I feel we are soul sisters that way, lol. Sofa and beds comfortable, and the place looked updated and well cared for. She send out info on the area, things to do, and, places to eat and grocery shop, and etc. She also sent ski rental discount information if needed. Cindy was so thoughtful too and has a small Christmas Tree and Weath for the holiday. No issues with the heat or having plenty of hot water. Pretty views from the very large back porch and literally steps away from the runs. Lovely place to enjoy some cocoa or coffee while watching my hubby and son ski. Perfect holiday ski vacation and amazing host. We will def try and book her listings on our next trip there.

What a great place! Also the host was very kind and great communication! Very nice place and only 10 minutes from Sugar Mountain. Wonderful amenities including pool, hot tub, sauna, library, shop, workout room etc etc. Only (potential) issue which is no fault of the owners is that this is a large 10 story condo complex. On busy days, especially around the weekend it can get very busy during check in and check out and you have to park outside of the guard shack and get shuttled back to the condo. Again, we didn’t really have much of a hang up but others did-just something to keep in mind. Fantastic place, and well equipped! Thank you again!

Great host such a great cute little place will definitely be back. No issues whatsoever. Highly recommend also comes with amenities pool hot tub Jacuzzi sauna great for children.

Rick was a great host. Very thoughtful. messaged us to let us know home was ready early. Had the driveway plowed after heavy snowfall without request. They have a beautiful home in a great spot. Prefect for our family of 6. We had so much fun in the snow. A wonderful location, close to the slopes and town, but still tucked away. Definitely look forward to coming back.

Close to Sugar Mountain and downtown Banner Elk. The home had everything we needed and more!

Loved it here! It was cozy and gorgeous on our snowy getaway. The cabin had everything we needed, plus great aesthetics and the comfiest bed! Check out was a breeze too. Shout out to our hosts who were so responsive, friendly, and helpful as we were nervous navigating slightly icy streets.

We stayed here to celebrate my birthday, for a long weekend. Our adult son and his friends snowboard and ski and this was the perfect location! They walked just a short distance to the slopes. This chalet is cozy and comfortable. We were very pleased and would definitely stay here again.

This was a great Chalet with a short walk to the slopes, maybe 100 feet. This Chalet is more spacious than most with the top consisting of a nice open kitchen/Living Room area with plenty of seating and room. Great location for skiers in the winter. We have stayed at several Chalets on this road over the years and this was one of our favorite to stay at!

Felt like home with all the amenities. Close to ski slope and also to grocery store. Made sure they put salt on steps so we would not slip.

We had two families staying for a long weekend. We were able to ski one of the days but had rain the others. If you are taking lessons this area is a bit of a walk and very difficult to do in ski boots. I would recommend driving but for anything else this is a perfect location. Just out back is a little more advance bunny hill that the kids can ski on all day while you watch them from the balcony. The home is set up for families with plenty of sleeping options, comfy beds and plenty of toys & crayons for the kids. Our kids love the loft area and played hide and seek every day. The dedicated parking spot was great and overflow parking was very easy to navigate. We had a great time and I would absolutely come back.

Great ski weekend with my family. Restaurants were great. The house is SO nice, comfy beds, beautiful fireplace, and the hot tub is amazing! Would love to stay again.

Wonderful place to stay. Having the cabin at the bottom of the mountain, to us, was the best spot to have it. You can ski down from the top, right up to the back door. Very clean, very good host. The walkway was very salty to prevent slips. Overall we had a great time.
