Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Ohio River

Decided at the last minute to stay in Cartersville as I was driving across the country. I reached out to Mechellela in the early evening to ask if her place was available that night and she promptly responded that it was. Her place is very close to many restaurants and shopping. From the time I booked to the time I was at the front door was literally just a few minutes so I appreciated the availability on short notice. The house was super clean and we even enjoyed a little time in the wonderful hot tub. I would stay there again if I was in the area.

Bill was an excellent host from the beginning. He answered all my questions and gave very detailed instructions and descriptions. The house was very clean and tidy, made me feel right at home upon arriving. Bill gave excellent suggestions for the local area and was very quick in responding to me. I had no issues at all during my stay and would highly recommend his beautiful lake house to anyone! This host deserves more than 5 stars, and if I’m ever back in the area, he will be the first place I try to reserve.

I can’t say enough good things about this cabin, the whole cabin was spotless. Two living spaces with kitchens, lots of beautiful scenery peaceful surroundings breathtaking views the list goes on and on. The host is amazing so responsive and attentive love this place, I would definitely recommend it and would not stay anywhere else in NC with my family. We visited Pilot Mountain and Stone Mountain we had the best Thanksgiving in family. Thank you Wei for sharing your cabin with us ❤️

This is our second time at this cabin and it is one of favorite places. Susan even put up a Christmas tree which was wonderful. Will be back!

Lisa’s home was quaint and cozy. The hot tub was excellent to relax in and I particularly appreciated the well stocked kitchen, as I planned to do a lot of cooking and didn’t need to pack as many tools. The surrounding area is stunning with fun trails, and convenience stores close enough by that you don’t feel stranded. It was a great birthday trip!

This was a great little house in Nashville. It was well appointed, clean, close to town, and actually matched the photos. The hot tub was a great addition to our girls weekend. We had a decently heavy snow, and someone even came out to shovel the sidewalks and around our cars. Would definitely stay here again!

Very clean. Home away from home. Met all our expectations and more. We would highly recommend this place to others and will definitely book at this location again whenever we’re in the area. Very enjoyable.

The Loft was a cute space. Loved the decor, very homey! Place was perfecr for our trip! Lisa was very responsive and her instructions helped us find the place easily!

Place was as described, although felt larger than it seemed in the photos. Perfectly walkable downtown Blowing Rock location. Clean and tidy, comfortably furnished, roomy enough for our group of three with three separate beds. It's in an older house with lots of character, but the inside is updated and modern. As others noted, we did occasionally hear footsteps from upstairs, but weren't bothered by that at all. During a foggy, damp and cold day we were happy to spend time in the cozy breakfast nook with lots of natural light. Would gladly stay here in again!

We stayed here with our 2 dogs on a cross country roadtrip. We needed somewhere near i80 and dog friendly. Hotels are a pain with 2 dogs so staying in Lisa’s Airbnb apartment was a nice change! Everything exactly as described. The best part was the dogs being able to use the fenced in backyard after a long day in the car. Also helpful there was already a metal crate as we crate one of our dogs at night who likes to pace :) also bonus there was tea coffee grounds and a coffee maker

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Hillbilly Hideout! Cozy & comfortable with everything you need for a great little retreat. We are repeat guests & wouldn’t stay anywhere else for our annual ski weekend! We are already planning our return in 2026!

This place was everything the host said it would be I was in town for just 1 night for a college basketball game that was changed last minute but the host was right there to guide me through it thanks they made my stay enjoyable and was very understanding thank you I would recommend this place to everyone.

Sherrye Renee’s place is super cozy and in an incredibly convenient spot for anyone looking to explore the surrounding area or get some skiing in! Very helpful and flexible host, would definitely recommend!

had the best stay! perfect for a weekend at the slopes for my husband and I. squeaky clean! we loved the wood burning fireplace after a cold day on the slopes. would definitely stay again!

We had a lovely trip at Villa Prairie. The property is very peaceful and cozy. The villa is tastefully decorated and clean. We didn’t get to explore trails due to inclement weather but it was pretty to watch the snow fall from the warmth of the fireplace. There was a private snowplow that came and cleared the road very quickly which was appreciated. We hope to return in warmer weather!

We loved Bill’s place. It rained a few hours so we couldn’t walk around town, but it was no problem we spent a few hours looking through all of the amazing art Bill has displayed throughout the villa. Great coffee shops and awesome restaurants within walking distance. We will hopefully be back soon!!

We had a wonderful girl trip at the Treehouse again this year! Beautiful home and fully stocked. Brett is very responsive and took take of us with any concerns.

My family LOVED the holiday decorations! It was a nice touch. We don't get to see each other for Christmas and we gathered together for my graduation. We did both together. There are a lot of rooms and you can set the temperature in each. Great communication with the owner and the owner's friend came by to handle things too. I think that one of my family members could not find out how to do something in the house. She was just SO kind and personable!! The kitchen(s) and family rooms were great family friendly connected spaces. My aunt enjoyed the "chef's kitchen" and appreciated the myriad of cooking and serving vessels! One area of concern was the dirty towels. I assume that is because of a previous guest who did not follow the clear instructions, but I don't know. It was a wonderful blessed experience and great to be with so many family members under one roof!!

This was a perfect place for a weekend getaway to the Louisville area. Secluded, peaceful and plenty of amenities. Hot tub, 2 bathrooms, 2 living areas, 2 bed rooms. Plenty of TV’s, an island in the kitchen to prepare drinks and food. Table to play cards at. Was easy to get to all of our destinations (shows and restaurants), all with 15 minutes. Jonathan the host was very friendly, responsive and proactive with messages. Perfect Airbnb experience!

The Riverstone retreat is a great stay if you're looking for a getaway to the mountains of West Virginia. The hosts always provided clear communication and the residence looked exactly like the pictures.
