The cabin sits in the trees along beautiful Lake Sara. The newly remodeled cabin offers a quiet place to relax and unwind. You can bring your kayaks, paddle boards or trailer your family boat along for some fun tubing and skiing on the lake. The dock allows for the boat to be left in the water till the end of your stay. The Marina, Pinky’s (waterfront restaurant), Rusty Reel (bar below Pinky’s ), Cardinal Golf Course, Lake Sara Campground and Lake Sara Beach are all a short walk from the cabin!

The home is located 55 miles north of Columbus by Knox Lake. This home is close to ArielFoundation Park, Mohican State Park, Mid-Ohio Racing, Kenyon College, Mt. Vernon Nazarene University, and Apple Valley Golf Course. Good place for family and friends to kayak and fish. There is a Splash Pad in town for children. In Mount Vernon, 15minutes away there is Hiawatha Waterpark. There is a fee. Family Reunions are Welcome. Great place to get away, read a book, sit by a fire and relax.

Perfect for spring fishing with plenty of room to park your boat. Situated on 20 acres backed up to the redline. With creeks and waterfalls a few steps away.

Eagles Retreat Cabins allow you to vacation with family and friends and have your own space. There are 2 cabins on the lakefront property. You can book both cabins or just one. Cabin 1 ($145/night) is a 1-bedroom, 1-bath home with sleep sofa, spacious living area, and deck with view of the lake. Cabin 2 ($175/night) is a 2-bedroom, 1-bath home with spacious living area, upper and lower decks with lake views and a third deck on the front side. There's a lighted path to the dock.

Newly updated 2 bed, 2 bath home on a quiet cove with breathtaking views and a private dock. Enjoy lake life! Swim or fish off the dock. 2 kayaks, lily pad float, fishing poles and life vests are provided. Bring your own boat or rent one nearby. Experience all southern IL has to offer on the lake, nearby hiking in the Shawnee National Forest or the Shawnee Wine Trail.

Conveniently located close to The Neeley Family Distillery. Some have visited the Ark while staying here also.
