We felt very comfortable from the first minute. Easy check-in. The view from the cottage is magical, the surroundings invite you to hike. The house was equipped with everything you could need. We will be back :)

Really happy with our stay. Communication with the host was great. The house was beautiful, magical and clean. It had some interesting and vintage furniture and collector’s items, which made it very special. It had everything to cook, also clean towels, etc. The location was really great too - close enough to the center but located in a peaceful residential neighborhood with a really good bakery nearby. A really nice house with two terraces. One of them is beautiful and allowed us to have breakfast in the sun. The rooms are spacious. The place has great potential, with a few repairs it could be a dream place.

Our family holiday started in Rust, Germany and ended in Munich, we enjoyed our holiday in Germany and this was a great location if you’re looking to travel around the City!

My family and I had a wonderful stay in Nicholas’s house. The countryside is beautiful and there are totally stunning views of the mountains from the back of the house. We also enjoyed the pool and sauna very much, and my nephew enjoyed saying hello to the chickens. The bedrooms were generously sized and very comfortably furnished. The kitchen was well equipped and washing machine room was essential and very welcome for our family after muddy walks. It was great how close a few walking trails were to the lake and across the moor, and the town is walkable too, with a good selection of a few local shops and larger supermarket for groceries. Even on the rainy days, the house was a very peaceful place to spend time and the large smart tv and games cupboard was a blessing for adults and toddler alike. Special thanks to the caretakers who helped make our stay especially comfortable with thoughtful recommendations and guidance when we needed it about the house.

Simply everything to our complete satisfaction, everything as described, great amenities, beautiful location.

We came and stayed at Madsen’s place for a week while attending Bauma in Munich. The place was fantastic! It was very clean and had plenty of room. It is a short walk away from a grocery store and several good places to eat. The train station is about a 15 to 20 minute walk based upon pace but it is in a very quiet and safe area. We will definitely stay here again in the future when we comeback to Munich. Thank you Madsen for being such an excellent host.

A great, luxurious and spacious house, perfect for our winter silvester retreat with the family. Lots of space for the small children to play inside the house. Overall the house is REALLY well equipped! including the best kitchen appliances one can expect.
