Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Munich

Peter (and Lola!) were very welcoming, and the apartment was in a great location for our one-night stay: we were able to visit the English Garden, Marienplatz for the Glockenspiel, and lots of local church buildings with beautiful architecture, even though we were only there for a short time (~24h). We were also able to sample some great food in the local neighbourhood: Pho with great broth around the corner @ Pho You, delicious ice cream from Ballabeni (especially the chocolate and the lemon-basil), and an enjoyable, flavorful kebab from Doner Oz Urfa, just a stone's throw away. Peter also surprised us with coffee, pretzels and an engaging conversation in the morning, so we felt very blessed and prepared for our day of exploring. Danke, Peter! To summarize: friendly & generous host, great location, lots of local options, and a comfortable room with plenty of space.

For those who love small towns that are not too busy, Lechbruck am see is an ideal solution. Good restaurants, little traffic, beautiful surroundings with both Fussen and Garmisch at your fingertips and Neuschwanstein castle, the Wieskirche and the first part of the Romantische Strasse at your fingertips. Gabi lives in a beautiful villa among the houses in the upper part of the village, with large rooms on the second floor. Ours had a big balcony overlooking the village and the river/lake area. On the same floor, a large living room common to three other rooms and a kitchen where Gabi finds a good breakfast set at the agreed time. The kitchen complete with appliances pots and crockery is available for guests' disposal. We had an indoor space for our motorcycle and there were parking spaces available in the courtyard of the house right in front of the entrance door. Gabi is courteous, helpful and private. A great stay for us.

From the moment I arrived, I felt like I was stepping into a friend's home thanks to Mattias's warm and friendly demeanor. He welcomed me with open arms and made it clear right away that he was eager to ensure I had a great stay. On my first night, he prepared a delicious meal for me, which I thought was such a thoughtful gesture. It really set a lovely tone for my visit. Throughout the week, he was always available to answer my questions and offered helpful tips about the local area from the best supermarkets to visit to amazing restaurants and interesting sights to check out. The bedroom was charming and had a cozy, homely feel. When I arrived, I was delighted to find a lovely fruit hamper waiting for me, along with a refreshing drink. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I quickly fell in love with the blackout blinds perfect for a peaceful night’s sleep! Overall, my week at Mattias's place was a wonderful experience and I would absolutely love to return in the future.

Hannelore is really nice and friendly (his Karl a little bit less) but you can have very good time in this place The WIFI is perfect and Hannelore prepare some excellent breakfast ;)

Uwe & Karla were such amazing hosts during my stay. While I spent a bulk of my time in the city of Münich (which was a 30-40 minute S-Bahn ride away), I always looked forward to running into either Uwe & Karla the night of/day after to talk about the past day and suggestions of what to do. Absolutely wonderful!

It was a perfect stay! Great location to explore the surroundings, but staying in complete relaxation. Great welcome and above all great breakfast!

We stayed at Thomas's place at Schliersee's place for a quick vacation. The location was great, the breakfast absolutely varied, everything you can think of and very tasty! The room was exactly the same as the photos, very new and modern, clean and spacious! The bathroom is a dream! Check-in went smoothly via key box, check out as well. Staff were very friendly and accommodating! Only criticism: since the room is right on the hallway next to the breakfast room, you regularly woke up from 6.30 (time at the beginning of breakfast), as it is very audible and the guests of course chat or ask the employees something. If you are sensitive in this regard, you should bring Oropax or book another room. It was fine with us. We felt very comfortable and recommend it 100%!

Alex and Karoline’s are amazing kind hearted hosts who made us feel very welcomed in Munich in their beautiful house. Alex was very proactive communicator with local recommendations and guidance for any inquiries we had. It is sweet touch of the owners’ to serve lovely breakfast every morning. One of the few AirBnB’s we felt like home. Flexible check-in timings, house was very easy to find with free parking beside the house if you are reaching by car. Convenient location one of the nearest S-Bahn stops is “Mittersendling” 12 mins walk from the house in 9-13 mins reaches Munich Hbf we used this way of transportation however you have plenty of bus options also nearby. Clean house with comfy beds. We would definitely choose Alex’s house for our next visit.

We felt very comfortable with Gabi. From booking to checking out, everything worked out perfectly. Gabi even allowed us to check in late at night. She prepared breakfast with love. You can tell that Gabi loves to have guests and we highly recommend her place.

FABULOUS is the word that comes to mind when describing our stay with Steffi!!! Located about 15 minutes from the Neuschwanstein Castle and nestled in the middle of the beautiful countryside. Steffi was the ultimate host. She greeted us at the front door and showed us up to our room, which was immaculately clean. Our balcony overlooked the pastures and mountains. The room was perfect. One of the best, softest bed I have ever slept on in my life. To top it off, the breakfast which she serves is perfect. Homemade yogurt, meats, cheeses, jams, rolls, fresh juice, milk and to top it off, the eggs are from their chickens, and were cooked perfectly. In their dining room are some beautiful souvenirs that we purchased. Some hand-created salts, teas, and hand-woven socks from her mother. It was great. If you are heading to this part of Germany and needing to stay close to the castle, they stay with Steffi. It's the BEST!!!

Enjoyed our stay here for the Almabtrieb and local restaurants. Would love to stay here again with my family!

The house is beautiful, it is very quiet and you can easily access several very beautiful villages. Sandra helped us a lot with recommendations and was always attentive to make sure we had what we needed.

We had a lovely time in Schliersee. The room was clean and the breakfast was excellent!

This was a highly unique stay, and I would absolutely recommend. Not only is the house absolutely beautiful, but Sandra is a lovely host! We loved getting to know her, know the house, and learn more about the digital detox. The gardens were beautiful and the two cats were cute company when we arrived as well. The breakfast was absolutely to die for as well. My husband and I think we will remember this breakfast for the rest of our lives (and we wish we would have done the dinner as well). Overall, highly recommend this Airbnb for relaxation, peaceful views, and an amazing breakfast. We absolutely hope to return in the future.
