Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Merida

I stayed at Gina & Jean's house when I visited Merida for 3 nights. They were very friendly and helpful. The place was super clean. The breakfast was served on the patio and well prepared. Its location is super for visiting Merida. Almost every sights are within walking distance including a market. The house is close to downtown square but far enough to be very quiet at night. Parking was easy on the street in front of the house. Google map worked great to navigate the one-way streets. Be aware that there is no laundry at the house but a laundry mate is only 5 m walk. If you need to use microwave or utensils, please let them know. Otherwise, kitchen is offlimit. There is no refrigerator in the room and they request no food in the room due to concerns of insects. I would stay again.

Simply beautiful the house, the pool, the gardens, the exceptional rooms, but the best part of all the warmth of their hosts are very nice people and super friendly always pending and in service. The Wowww 🤤🤤🤤 thousand breakfast, thank you 😊 super invited to come back and enjoy again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Years ago when in Merida for a short vacation, we hoped to return for a longer visit. We explored many options for a 3 week stay and chose La Pantera Negra; it was a great decision. Gina and Jean-Pierre are wonderful hosts as are their dogs, Mostaza and Chavela. The home is an art gallery, decorated with pieces from their collection. You feel like you're stepping back in time (in the best of ways) - high ceilings, tiled floors and a lovely garden/dipping pool. We had the yellow room with garden access and windows for good air flow. Breakfasts were amazing, prepared with loving care by Jean-Pierre with foods from their garden and the local market; breakfast was served on the balcony, a great way to start the day with other guests. It is in a good location, near transportation (ADO, AutoProgreso) and within easy walking distance of many sites and restaurants. Super clean, good WIFI, A/C. Hosts very willing to help you achieve your travel goals. Thanks for a great time!

The room is comfortable, the bathroom is clean. The location is very quiet and easy to access from ADO (20min walk), highly recommended. Breakfast is early if you want to walk, just ask the hosts if they have preference, for example I am a vegetarian and cannot eat the omelette with jamon :(

Maison Azul is even more beautiful in person than shown in the photos. Such a special place. The hosts are very responsive and helpful. The location is quiet and walkable to all of Centro. I have stayed here multiple times and I am already looking forward to my next visit!

Excellent location and ideal if you go to the consulado! Literal a few steps. Maria was very attentive, and Ernesto made us recommendations that helped us to tourist! Our room is very clean and cozy! I highly recommend it as it is very central to the place! And Oxxo super close ! Definitely back, ah and it's PETFRIENDLY ❤️
