Cottage vacation rentals in Lazio

The house and the entire complex were beautiful. The furnishings were of very high quality, the beds were excellent. Since we unfortunately had a lot of bad luck with the weather, we/our children were very happy about the hot tub. Especially suitable for guests with dogs. The contact with Daniela was great and her father was also very helpful and very likeable. Thanks for everything

Really charming villa, immersed in the greenery of a hill above Gaeta, with breathtaking views of the sea and the surrounding mountains. An ideal place for those looking for silence and peace of nature just 7 minutes from the village and beautiful beaches. The last stretch of road is quite challenging and requires a safe and loose guide but, once you arrive, everything invites you to stay: the warm and personal decor, the large bright doors and windows (equipped with providential mosquito nets) and the terrace overlooking the view, as well as the beautiful garden. The house does not have wifi and mobile coverage is limited to some areas. From the kitchen, a rather steep staircase is used to climb to the upper floor (which can be circumvented from the outside). Very warm welcome from a friend of the owner, who provided us with total availability, valuable advice and support during the stay, as well as a welcome gift. We had a great time, thank you Iole and Robertangelo!

For us as a family of 4 with not very young children, it was optimal. The balcony offered meals with a super view, and also the pool was perfect for cooling off.

We had wonderful and relaxing days in the little cottage. Our dog also felt comfortable and could move freely on the fenced area. The family lives at the property. However, you will not be disturbed and privacy is given. The hosts are very friendly and you feel right at home. However, you have to be aware that the cottage is very remote and you should plan some time before reaching restaurants, groceries, etc. But this did not bother us. :-)

We spent a couple of nights at this beautiful, romantic property that has been lovingly and sensitively restored and renovated. The view of the mountains from the bedroom was stunning, and we especially enjoyed the wood-burning fireplace in the bedroom. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a unique and peaceful experience.

The Di Maggio farm is a unique place where you can regenerate, immersed in a beautiful natural setting where you can fully experience contact with Nature. The apartment is well cared for and furnished in a rustic style with ethnic touches. The outdoor veranda is priceless where you can see the farm animals and also the peacocks. The owners are very kind and helpful people with whom it is pleasant to converse and learn local news and curiosities. We fell in love.

We spent a wonderful time with our family at Novella in the very nice rural house with an eclectic garden and a small refreshing pool. There we had a lot of peace to read and otherwise we went by car to the nearby sandy beach and by train to Rome and Naples. We could park the car at the train station. Novella gave us many helpful tips on eating and swimming on site and was always available otherwise. Absolutely recommended to anyone looking for peace away from mass tourism and still want to enjoy the culture and beach nearby.

I spent a week in Efisio's house. A house in the middle of the woods, quiet with a beautiful view and the sound of the stream that kept us company. Great accommodation for those with dogs. In addition, the house was very clean and with all the comforts. Efisio was very kind and helpful, giving valuable advice on the surroundings that are definitely worth a visit, especially for those who love nature, good food and various villages. I highly recommend a vacation at Efisio's house

We enjoyed a lovely week at Daniela’s country house. We were a family group of 3 couples and there was lots of space to spread out with many comfortable sitting areas. It was hot so the pool was used a lot. The town is walkable and we enjoyed going out for drinks and a meal a few times but equally enjoyed cooking at the house and eating on the terrace. A car is recommended as buses are tricky and the train station 22 mins drive away. There are lots of interesting places to visit in the area as well. Thank you Daniela for hosting us!

Pleasant stay in a quiet and remote place. I love places like this, and it's not easy to find them. An isolated but easily accessible house with adequate spaces and pleasant amenities, from the interior spaces, to the fireplace in the kitchen, large bathroom and comfortable rooms, washing machine and barbecue, wood and barbecue for arrosticini are also available. Highly recommended. I will personally return in the spring/summer.

This is a most charming home in a very special, very ancient village. The home and village are in pristine, restored condition. Fabio is very knowledgeable and responsive. His excellent recommendations included wonderful local restaurants and a thermal spa center with amazing facilities and staff. This unique, well furnished - supplied home is a great value for guests that are in excellent physical condition to navigate stairs and charming walking paths.

Quiet, tranquil place, clean apartment with everything working as intended. Beautiful garden and surroundings. Easy trip to town even with public transport, < 10 min walk for a train. The host was very accommodating both regarding arrival and departure. Very nice and helpful.

We had a good time, a true oasis of tranquility thanks to which we detoxed from the chaos of our great city; my three nanerbits had plenty of space to safely explore the surrounding terrain. Cristiano is a very kind and caring host, always available and attentive to every customer's need: BRAVO!!!

We had a wonderful weekend in this apartment. The tranquility and privacy of the place are priceless, both indoors and outdoors you can breathe in total serenity. The apartment was impeccably clean and we particularly appreciated the bed, incredibly comfortable! Traveling with our almost 3-year-old son, finding an environment where you can really relax is not a given, and here we fully succeeded. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a haven of peace and comfort.

Beautiful place , extremely well looked after Paola and family offer exceptional value would not hesitate to return and recommend ….. Easy access on foot 🏃‍♂️ or bicycle 🚴 from Scafa 30 minutes via the old road beats the auto strada any days 😊

My family of 4 stayed here for a week and loved it. Very peaceful, easy access to other towns, and the area is breathtakingly beautiful. We loved taking the walking trail along the river! The health center was absolutely amazing after a long day of sightseeing. My only frustration is that the airbnb host is actually a management company that manages from a distance. When you arrive you are to contact the owner via text who is also not there. Then when you arrive there is Rita (owners mother) and Pamela (Rita’s helper); who are wonderful. There are a lot of people involved and you don’t really know who to talk to if a problem arises; communication gets tricky.

The Viterbo countryside, olive trees, silence, peace, a large comfortable house (with a pleasant and useful fireplace), a large living room with sofas and armchairs, a spacious kitchen and equipped with all the imaginable dishes and pots (as well as a precious dishwasher!) have characterized our fulfilling stay. Given the winter season we couldn't enjoy the outdoor space and the garden 100%, even this very well cared for. Gaia was always available and attentive in organizational communications and made us find a very pleasant snack of bread, salamis and wine as a welcome. Very satisfied!

Gianpiero was a wonderful host. He met us at the home and showed us around making sure that we knew where everything was and how to use everything (even providing us with a bunch of wonderful snacks, milk and juice, olive oil that his family produced AND a cake!). His smile is infectious. He was sure to tell us about his home town and lovely sights to see. Not a critique, but some expectation management- I think this home is ideal for warmer months but room heaters and a space heater were provided to improve our comfort. Also when we lost power and could not figure it out, Gianperio was at the house within 15 mins to solve the problem. He is a wonderful communicator, thoughtful, courteous, timely and I truly enjoyed interacting with him! He even brought his mom on checkout day and I wanted to hug her as she interacted with my daughter- she reminded me of my mom!

The house is very beautiful, furnished with care and love and is very clean and with every comfort (wifi, washing machine, TV, well-stocked kitchen, linens, etc.). The location is fantastic: few steps and you are on the beach. Silvia and Emilio are kind and friendly, always available without ever being intrusive. What can I say, too bad the vacation is over! We will definitely be back! Thanks Silvia and Emilio, we had a great time :)
