Cabin vacation rentals in Houghton Lake

This is my family's 3rd visit. Visiting Gordon and Nancy's cabin has turned into a tradition for our family. Beautiful cabin and surroundings. Further, the kitchen is well equipped to cook meals. The stars are amazing on a clear night! The solitude and peace it provides allows families to slow down. There are a lot of board games to chose from. The view of the lake is fantastic! We also appreciate the hosts who are very kind to host us. We love the little personal touches they add to the experience of an already perfect property.

Tom was great! he helped us out with a trailer issue, highly recommend staying here! will be going back again

Roxy was a great host. place was very clean. Enjoyed that it was pet friendly she left dog gifts which My Furrbaby enjoyed. Will be booking again once the weather warms up.

A very cozy cabin with a beautiful view. The fall colors were amazing.

We really enjoyed staying at Lisa’s. We unfortunately didn’t get to use many of the amenities because we were very busy while there. Hopefully you can!

If you’re looking for relaxing look no further! This adorable little home on the lake hit all the sweet spots! Clean, cozy, peaceful and had evening you need! Even some things you may have forgotten to pack yourself! Will definitely be going back!

Midge was an incredible host, extremely friendly and hopeful. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated for the holidays, with beautiful views on the local lake! This was the perfect staycation for our family & we look forward to all the future stays.

Very nice place. I can tell the owners maintain it well and take care of everything. It looked like the exterior landscaping had recently been redone. I felt right at home. Will stay here again.

The lakefront property was very inviting and clean. The views were spectacular. The host provided everything you would need for the stay ( ie spices, and extra condiments , wood for the fireplace and a nice grill). We enjoyed the hot tub. The water temperature and pressure were great. I highly recommend this property.

Came here for our anniversary getaway. We we liked the listing and we were even more impressed once we got there. He's more of a stay inside person so we didn't do much outside, plus I have thin skin, so cold weather is rough on me sometimes. Inside was great though! It was very homey. I could have stayed there forever. Living room made it easy to lounge and watch the TV. Dining room gave us the perfect amount of space to eat. Kitchen set up was perfect. Same for bathroom and shower space. But, the bedroom... where did that bed come from?! Was it made from clouds?! It was the comfiest bed I have ever slept on! I would definitely rent again! maybe when it's warmer for me though. lol We picked up food from The Rusty Pine. All of the food purchased there was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. The pizza from Mio pizza was really good as well. I wouldn't hesitate to eat at either place again.

Enjoyed our second stay here with the kids and the dogs. The dogs loved all the open space and running through the trails exploring the property. Great place to get away for a few days with plenty of privacy.

this was hands down one of the best Airbnb experiences I've ever had! Frank was very communicative before and throughout the whole stay! The amenities went above and beyond and I would certainly come back for another visit!

Enjoyed our stay, host was very helpful, easy to communicate with. Cabin is very cute, well done. For an inflatable, hot tub was surprisingly comfortable. Overall nice little place to stay, good value for the price :)

Wanted to get out of town and enjoy some peace and quiet and this cabin was absolutely perfect. Could not have asked for a better stay, the scenery is gorgeous and everything was extremely clean and we felt very comfortable. Host was very responsive, friendly, and attentive. I am already looking forward to booking my trip back during the summer months! Thank you again for a fabulous stay.

This was my first time renting an Airbnb and I was hesitant given the reputation. Christina's cabin was beyond 5 stars. Quiet, remote, peaceful, and beautiful. There were instructions for any questions you could think of. Christina has thought of everything. Even if something was forgotten, Christina had extra. I will be back for another fall vacation at this cabin in the future.

Great place, nice and clean and good communication

The cutest airbnb! The location was great, beautiful scenery. The house itself was spotless, we had everything we could need and more. Chelsea was extremely helpful and responsive. I would absolutely love to come back in the summer and enjoy the back patio and lake!

This cabin was amazing! We watched deer out of the kitchen window everyday. Very cozy especially with the wood burner going!

It was a beautiful cabin, My family and I enjoyed the natural beauty all around. We enjoy the outdoors and there was a lot to do all around close by, overall it was an amazing time.

Sherry was great! We had to reschedule our stay due and Sherry was so helpful! Place is cozy and peaceful.
