Vacation rentals with a kayak in Houghton Lake

Great place to go and very peaceful. Only down fall was family being separated, we all had a great time , a lot of walking around due to the kitchen and top deck where grill is all being to far apart, other than it was a nice visit

The house is on the canal right off the lake. We kept our boat tied up right outside the house. There are a lot of extras. Lucky for us there was an extra gas can because our gas gage started acting up and we ran out of gas in the middle grounds. There are kayaks you can use. There is a washer and dryer, plus a black stone. Lots of room for parking. I loved the king size bed.

Ruth was very accommodating. we highly recommend staying at this place.

Jodie’s place was great! They had everything we needed to stay in and relax for a couple days. The view of the river is beautiful!

The Stawberry Haus was quite honestly the best AirBnB stay I have ever had. A lot of hosts rely on doing the bare minimum and will try to squeeze the most out of you, but not Kim! The place is fully stocked with absolutely anything you can imagine. Blankets, cookware, towels, bedding, storage, etc. This really felt like a home away from home. If you want a get away to just relax and feel like you can rest, this is it. Kim was unbelievably kind and responsive and a very communicative host. I highly recommend every part of this listing!

This was our second stay with Terry & we will definitely be back! He always goes above & beyond to make sure we have everything we need & is very communicative. Can’t recommend enough!

This home was and experience was beautiful enough space for me and the kiddos a beautiful kitchen with every essential cooking component that you could need amazing side coffee and bar setup board games and alexa were the main hits during our weekend getaway would highly recommend this home and I look forward to visiting and staying in this home again

Lovely home on Rose Lake. Very quiet and peaceful. Home has plenty of room for a family of 5 .(3 adults and 2 kids) The kiddos loves the hammock in the backyard by the water and roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. A definite add to our favorites list. Will stay again and recommend to our other family when they stay up here.

The cottage was exactly what was advertised and the pictures were accurate. The cottage was very warm, inviting and clean. We had a great time on the water and the location was great to go to other areas such as Traverse City as well. Very nice property!

Such a fun stay - 4 kids and they had a blast. The place was great - We had a bonfire every night, cozy, but perfect for a family of six! The kids had a blast and it was a great home base. We took trips every day out to the local spots Traverse City, Elk Lake, Torch Lake , Charlevoix, Petoskey, Harbor Springs, etc. It had everything we needed: for a small house we really appreciated the two bathrooms and the three bedrooms. The kitchen had all we needed and the laundry really helped too! Fresh renovations, and a responsive and friendly host to boot. It’s a little bit cold in April and Michigan, but I’m certain the lake is beautiful in the summer. I would book again and would recommend to anybody with a family for trip up to northern Michigan.

Just as described only better!!! Absolutely spotless in every aspect! Patti went out of her way to answer any question I had before and during our stay. To be honest if I listed everything I loved about this place i could write a book! My family can’t wait to go back!!! Zero complaints except to myself for not staying longer!!!

Was very nice to get away and just relax. There was a storm hitting the area and very cold and windy but the home was very comfortable. Felt at home and will definitely be back over the summer!

This is my group’s second time at The Point House, and it was another great experience! We did choose a windy weekend both times, and the ample social space inside made entertainment easy even as the gale closed some nearby roads with downed trees and lines! If we’re in the area again in the future, I suspect we’ll stay once more!

We had a great stay! It was peak fall foliage and 70 degrees. The cottage was perfect, nestled right on 3 private acres which made it the perfect child free weekend getaway. We enjoyed the sauna, the fire pit and the sounds of nature. Robin was very responsive and helpful! If you're looking for rest and relaxation I would recommend The Acorn!

Midge was an incredible host, extremely friendly and hopeful. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated for the holidays, with beautiful views on the local lake! This was the perfect staycation for our family & we look forward to all the future stays.

Cabin was more beautiful than the picture!! Spotless, very cute and homey decorating. Bed was like sleeping on a cloud and the sheets were to die for!! Coffee choices, fabulous water pressure in the shower and the view was priceless!!! Perfect little getaway!!!

It was a beautiful cabin, My family and I enjoyed the natural beauty all around. We enjoy the outdoors and there was a lot to do all around close by, overall it was an amazing time.

Great overnight stay and a responsive understanding host

This cabin was exactly what we were looking for in a weekend get away. The views were stunning as we sat by the fire pit outside. This space had plenty of room for the 6 of us. The game room was our favorite space to hang out in. We played pool and shuffle board. Rules, codes, and instructions were easy to find and clear. Plus the host's phone number if needed. We would definitely stay here again.
