Kathryn runs a cabin style house that handles 7 guests easily. The decor fits the setting and was just what my group wanted. She made our stay very comfortable and was not the hostess from the big city who you can’t reach or who relies on contracted help to support her guests.

My boyfriend and our three teenage boys stayed at the cabin for 5 days and never ran out of things to do. Although the weather was anything but great when we got there, we definitely made the most of our trip. Everyone LOVED the pool table. I am from the UP so it felt like home for me and loved being able to go find a hot pasty at the grocery store ! It was so peaceful and barely any traffic, we would go out in the road at night and look at the stars. Very peaceful and relaxing. Can't wait to enjoy it again when the weather is nicer! The kids also had a grand time exploring the woods behind the house!

We love it there. This was our second time in the cabin, and third time on their properties. The place is so warm and inviting. Extremely private, clean, and had everything in the kitchen to cook with. Can’t wait to go back. Couldn't have had a better location. My girlfriend and I were looking for a secluded location away from the hectic city. Todd's cabin was the best decision I made on my first Airbnb location. We got exactly what we were looking for. Not only does it come with lots of trails to walk, indoors is a pinball machine and old school record jukebox machine, games to play and even Netflix and chill. Thank you again for the wonderful get away from the city for my 40th birthday.

"The Land" was perfect to celebrate an 80th Birthday. The main floor bedroom was great for the guest of honor. We ended up with 14 of us staying at the house (with a little coordination for the 2 bathrooms) it was a great set up. It helped that the weather was nice, so we could be outside by the fire or playing yard games. Some people enjoyed walks on the property as well. Nathan was very quick to answer all our questions. Not having internet or TV I think allowed for more interactions and game playing. Cell phones worked just fine. Thanks for sharing your place it will be a great memory for our family.

Great little cabin stay. We mostly wanted to stay in a log cabin because of our son's recent interest in building houses with logs. He seemed to enjoy the simple aspects, of just a simple cabin in the woods. The playground was simple, and he enjoyed it. The best was sitting out by the fire looking up at the stars and reading books with him. We brought chairs but didn't need them. Everything we needed was at the cabin. Great place.

Tammie's cabin was the perfect getaway for my birthday! It was very peaceful and relaxing. The cabin had everything I needed. The coffee bar was a huge plus for me. I enjoyed watching all of the squirrels, birds and deer right out the back window. I loved reading by the fire and casting a few lines in the river. This place was great for a quiet, peaceful sisters weekend. It was rainy which was perfect to just read, eat and watch the wildlife right outside the glass patio door. We saw 3 different kinds of woodpeckers, squirrels and even a few frogs! We were still able to enjoy soaking in the hot tub, which is very private. There is nothing but woods behind the cabin. The inside is really cute and very comfortable, also very clean. There is a tv for movie nights and WiFi for streaming services. The kitchen had everything we needed also. Highly recommend!

I brought my four kids age 2-16 for some special time at the lake, dunes, and St Joseph. We really enjoyed the home, it was very comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated… comfy beds, well stocked but not cluttered kitchen, and my little ones absolutely loved the children’s bedroom. The private beach is an easy walk and it’s beautiful. Kristi had great recommendations and is the most gracious and hospitable host.

This is the second time I've stayed. For personal reasons, I had to leave early, but the hosts were very gracious and kind. The house is great and comfortable as always. The host is always easy to reach and great to speak with. I hope to make more trips here in the future for some rest away from home!

Eric's place is exactly what an "up north" cottage should be. Cozy, rustic, comfortable, and in the middle of beautiful surroundings. We loved it! It was exactly as described and provided everything we needed. Eric was a great host, too. I mentioned that my husband and I were taking a weekend up north as a way to celebrate my birthday, and he ACTUALLY REMEMBERED! I walked in to find a birthday card and a token gift on the table. He also gave great instructions and local info, and stayed dialed in the entire weekend. As for the area, we drove to Harbor Springs and explored the Tunnel of Trees. We also biked the Little Traverse Wheelway from Harbor Springs to Petosky. And we checked out the fantastic bike trail right near Eric's place, which takes you to Aloha State Park. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

Excellent host, Michael & Kelly were so nice. Check in & check out was easy. The cabin was exactly as described in the listing. It is a great place for family and children. The lake is quiet and they have canoeing, kayaks as well as fishing. I recommend this resort for relaxing lakeside experiences. The shopping in Charlevoix, Petosky, Glen Arbor and Traverse City was better than Door Country. The beaches along the coastlines were also a must see.

Lynn and Jeff’s place was incredibly comfortable, cozy, and clean. Although we did not have time to use them, the grill and the fire pit were an added bonus. I wanted to get there before dark because the directions said after a certain point ignore Google directions, but it was very easy to find and their directions were also spot on.

John & Kelly are not your typical hosts, they go above and beyond! By far the most magnificent hosts in my experience with AirBnB! Their communication is excellent and the home was completely clean and pristine. They also had a very detailed binder with not only everything you need to know about the house, but everything you should know about the location as well! They poured in their time to find great recommendations and ideas so that their guests can have the best possible experience! It was the ideal location for a personal retreat. Everything about Cabin #7 fit my needs perfectly, including a brand new TV (for the Lions game lol) and space heater (which came in handy!). The beds and pillows exceeded my expectations and the shower was a nice size and had great water pressure. The 3 large picture windows in the dining area provided an incredible panoramic view of the Lake, without compromising privacy. I won't think twice about returning when the opportunity arises.

Everything is just as described. Perfect place to disconnect from the world. Craig is an amazing host! I will definitely be returning next year. If you’re a fisherman, bring your gear. Plenty of pike in the lake but be advised entire lake is very shallow. Had good luck with a #4 Mepps-yellow/orange with a gold blade. Good cell service with Verizon. Dollar General just 5 miles away for any last minute needs. Thanks Craig!

Jennifer was an amazing host! We had to leave early due to a winter storm as we weren't prepared for heavy snowfall with our small vehicle. She was very kind and gave us options for a solution. The beautiful views and decor were like something out of a movie. I immediately felt at home and plan to come back when it's warmer!

This rustic little cabin was adorable and exactly what we were looking for! It was prefect for our week up north with our pups and the setting was beautiful. The cabin is secluded from the main residence, but close enough if needed. There are walking trails on the property (which the dogs loved!) and a fire pit overlooking a pond with a beautiful barn in the background. We were happy to find that the cabin amenities were as listed. Linens, towels, dishes, silverware, coffee maker, microwave, etc are conveniently provided. The mini fridge is perfect to stash leftovers and drinks - but just a note, there isn't a freezer compartment. There is a grill on the covered porch and even grates for cooking over the fire pit! We enjoyed the electric fireplace, which not only provided cozy nights, but gave that extra ambiance to the cabin. We would absolutely stay here again! Thank you Barb & Andy for a great stay and for sharing your cabin with us. We truly felt comfortable and at home.
