Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Government of Amsterdam

The place is just so unique and charming, possibly the most unique place we’ve ever stayed in. The only reason we left the boathouse is the fact that Amsterdam is so stunningly beautifully. Otherwise, we would hardly leave the place. The water is mere centimeters below the window, there’s ducks and boats constantly passing by in front of your window. It’s so cozy and it has everything we could ask for. The area around the boat is so pretty, peaceful and private, that during our stay, on a beautiful sunny day, I decided to propose to my girlfriend on the rooftop of the boathouse. Such a special experience, and Michèle was also responsive; it’s a shame we didn’t get to meet her in person. We will definitely come back, and 100% recommend!

Els was what all good Airbnb hosts should be! Helpful, communicative, and friendly. She gave us excellent recommendations on activities, restaurants, and nearby attractions, and was overall, a great help to our trip to Amsterdam. The place was only a train ride from the city center, and walking distance to a lot of beautiful attractions, which was perfect for us. The apartment was a basement apartment and very spacious and had everything a guest could need. The only thing was that it did get a bit muggy after a while, especially after showering. That being said, it was a great place and I would definitely recommend this apartment to anybody traveling to Amsterdam!

Rob is a truly wonderful host. Not enough can be said about the delicious, fresh, Dutch breakfast he provides each morning (at the time of your choosing). He was kind and amenable while also respecting the privacy of his guests. The place was clean and warm and very neat. If I am to visit Amsterdam again, I will first and foremost be checking the availability of Rob’s listing.

Davide’s apartment was in a fantastic location easy to walk and explore Amsterdam. Davide was a great host with good communication and very friendly and helpful with good knowledge of Amsterdam. Snacks and sweets left for guests were appreciated. Would definitely return.

The guest suite was absolutely charming as had we had purposely chosen the older part of the city for our three night’s stay. Evert was most helpful and accommodating, we couldn’t ask for more. The location was excellent, most sites easily walkable. If not, I would suggest an Uber vs a taxi, which was almost twice the price. When and if we return, we would book Evert’s place again, if available!

In one word…..wow! Driss and Bettina’s Airbnb is amazing! So comfortable, cozy and clean! The location is superb! Close to all the museums, the canals and shopping. Bettina gave us a list of their favorite restaurants, where to buy provisions, and excellent instructions on how to get there from the airport👍. Any questions or requests were responded to immediately and Bettina reserved a taxi for us the more we sadly had to leave. We would highly recommended Driss and Bettina’s place considering and stay in Amsterdam!

The room was very clean and ideally located (10 minutes away) from Central Station. Comfortable and on a very quiet street and close to shops and restaurants. The bedroom equipment is very complete (with a mini fridge) and well arranged (thank you for the office area). A really great little, breakfast is included. Just present the voucher and we'll bring you a very full breakfast and that's really good. Highly recommend for a stay in Amsterdam!

It’s been a great few days in Amsterdam. Vivian’s place is close to the city centre (about 10/15 min by public transport). The room is clean and nice, all needed to make the experience great. Vivian is a great host, we had issues with the booking and she helped sorting it as soon as we got in. Very friendly as well.

We enjoyed the light festival in Amsterdam. This location is perfect because it is quiet with a nice view, downtown easily accessible by public transport, supermarket within walking distance, nice private space and super nice people where you feel immediately welcome. Very nice that you have your own bathroom and toilet and a key to the house. Highly recommended!!!

Beautiful house, located in a quiet area with quick access to the main means of transport. The loft is very nice with a relaxing and cozy atmosphere. You will find a booklet with wifi password and also useful information on where to eat (we tested a couple of places and I have to say that the tips were great) or shopping. We are fully satisfied with the experience.

The place is beautifully decorated and very modern. Mark is a very good host and always friendly. We received some very good tips for Amsterdam and a delicious vegetarian breakfast:) His sweet cat Khaleesi made the stay even more homely. In addition, the city center can be reached in only 15-20 minutes by train. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back anytime:)

The house boat was in a very good location it was in a walkable spot to centre of the city, the hosts were very friendly and welcoming, we were comfortable staying in the location which was quiet and the room was clean. Would recommend

I really liked the place, I would have given 4.5 stars rather than 5 stars, but that was not possible, but I found it to be a 5 than 4. Bathroom is directly connected to the bedroom and you feel very comfortable everywhere in the house. The hot tub and sauna are in an outdoor area that is covered and has a view of the field. The only criticism I can give is that the kitchen does not have much equipment, if there is still an oven or a stove then the accommodation would be a 10/10. Breakfast always came at the desired time and always had warm rolls, cold cuts, yogurt and something sweet and provided a more comfortable atmosphere with the transport basket. A slightly more modern TV would be good but those are all small things. The hostess was very friendly and accommodating. I can definitely recommend the place.

We spent 2 nights at Abraham’s place with my family (we got the suite) and everything was very smooth. The house is amazing, with a huge kitchen, super-clean rooms and very high overall comfort. It’s very easy and fast to get to the city center by bus and metro. Highly recommended.

This was such a good place to rest after an intense week. The bed was very comfortable, I slept really well and the balcony was exactly what I needed. Ragna and Samuel greeted us upon arrival, making us feel welcome right away. They shared helpful tips on getting to central Amsterdam and recommended great places to eat. We loved having the bikes to explore the city—it made getting around so easy. The hosts went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, and the Airbnb itself was cozy and spotless.

Beautiful rooms, in a great environment. Mirjam is a great host who goes out of her way to make a lot of effort and freshly prepared breakfast. The rooms are furnished with a lot of love.
