Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in North Holland

We had a fantastic stay in Amsterdam, Franklin's flat is in the perfect location (15 minute walk from the Centraal station) in the heart of the Jordan area with lots of wonderful unique shops and some excellent places to eat! (we would recommend De Pizzabakkers across the road and Balraj Indian Restaurant just down the street was incredible) We didn't meet Franklin as he was away during our stay but his friend Eddy greeted us and showed us around. The flat is exactly as described and looks just like the photos. The bathroom is downstairs next to the hosts bedroom and not on the same floor and there is only a small sliding door (this didn't effect us as the hosts weren't there but others might find this an issue) Overall the flat was well equipt for everything all 4 of us needed (2 adults and 2 teenagers), the little terrace was cute and I'm sure would be lovely to sit on in a summer evening. There is an Albert Heijn supermarket at the end of the road for all essentials.

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and located in a quiet neighborhood in Purmerend. It was a great base for exploring both Amsterdam and the surrounding areas like Zaanse Schans and Volendam. The host was incredibly responsive and provided helpful local tips, which made our trip even better. We particularly appreciated the free parking spot, which made it easy to drive to nearby attractions and use public transport into the city. The Airbnb had a cozy living space to relax in after a day of sightseeing. It felt like a home away from home! We’d definitely stay here again next time we visit. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful stay with easy access to Amsterdam and other charming Dutch towns.

The place is right on the sea, which is just super nice. The view of the water is also really great. The landlords are very friendly and helpful. We'll be back ☺️

The apartment is beautiful and a stones throw away from central station. It’s overlook a canal and it’s beautiful in the evening to look out and just admire the surroundings. The location is amazing and Evert is such a lovely host. It is technically a self contained apartment within a big home so it’s completely private and you have your space and privacy. I would highly recommend and I would look to book again when returning. It’s a 5 star rating from me!

I highly recommend. Fabulous location, just 2 stops from the airport, 1 stop from Amsterdam central on the train. The staff were ever so helpful and accommodating. The apartment is immaculate. The amenities were perfect. We were a party of 8 friends. We are all planning on returning with our families. Lovely place!!

My husband and I found this apartment to suit our needs in many ways. The location, the place itself was clean and comfortable, and the hosts were exceptional. The breakfast food items were extensive and we enjoyed them. We would highly recommend staying here.

Judith was incredibly helpful and accommodating and her place is the ideal location for a trip to Amsterdam - only a v short bus and metro ride to get into the centre of the city. The apartment has everything you need and is very clean and comfortable. The area is gorgeous and it was lovely to get the opportunity to experience a more rural area outside the busy city. 100% recommend!

We felt very comfortable with Sharon and Djurre from the beginning. They are particularly friendly and affectionate hosts and are helpful and open to questions in every way. The apartment is fully equipped and very homely due to a spacious interior design. Every morning Sharon prepared a lush and very varied breakfast, which we very much enjoyed. The location of the apartment is very convenient: you can easily and quickly reach many interesting places and tourist attractions from here. Best buget friendly place you can get, close to the Bijlmer metro station (15 min walk) and a very kind host. Plenty of shops and cafes around, and even a market on Friday morning with a lot of fresh fruits/vegetables etc.

A beautiful accommodation, with all the comforts. An excellent breakfast, you can see that Lot is a real hostess. Everything is prepared with care and attention and you can see that in everything. We felt very welcome here. We definitely recommend these accommodations.

Thanks for hosting my daughter for the weekend - she had a wonderful time and felt welcome. The room was exactly what she needed - a homely loft in an excellent location. Communication with Ruby was excellent too and I felt very safe having my daughter stay at her place.

Mark is a super nice person! We stayed at his apartment, which is in a great location! In the evening we took the bus to the Ziggo Dome Arena in just 10 minutes to go to the Pitbull concert! He previously helped us book bus tickets online and made it seamless so we had a hassle-free, wonderful evening. The next morning, after a restful night, he also made us a hearty breakfast with croissants, pain au chocolat, grain rolls, various types of jam, various cheeses... simply great! After breakfast we only walked 7 minutes to the Diemen train station and then took the train to the center of Amsterdam. In just 3 stops we arrived at Amsterdam Zebtrum (10 minute journey), everything went smoothly and just as we imagined! Mark, you are not only attentive, friendly and helpful, You’re also funny! Bob and Menno were friendly and responsive hosts. The location was right on a canal with so many places and restaurants to walk to (including the central train station). The rooms were beautifully done and you could tell the labor of love that went into restoring the rooms as well as the entire apartment. Bonus mentions ..heated floors in the bathroom/vanity area, daily tidy and restocking of coffee in the rooms and the light breakfast choices. Every day we'd wake up to more blueberries, milk, yogurt, orange juice, etc.! This is a wonderful place to stay for 2 couples or a family of up to 4 people. We would absolutely stay here again the next time we're in Amsterdam.

Mirella and her daughter are very kind hosts. From check-in to departure, everything worked smoothly. Accommodation is as described and clean. I would recommend Mirella's breakfast to anyone!

The house boat was in a very good location it was in a walkable spot to centre of the city, the hosts were very friendly and welcoming, we were comfortable staying in the location which was quiet and the room was clean. Would recommend

We had a great time at Allysa's place! The apartment was very clean, well heated and bright. The location was great for visiting, the neighborhood is great for dining and strolling. Allysa is a really welcoming host!

Very pleasant stay spent in Abraham's home. The mansion is really beautiful and welcoming, it almost feels like home. Everything was very clean (maybe just the bathroom syphons to clean but it's not a big deal) and as described. Abraham was a very responsive host when we needed him. The location is very easy to access and a perfect base to visit Amsterdam and its surroundings. We'll be back for sure 😊
