Beautiful, spacious 2-bedroom barge! The boat is located on the Brunswick dock with parking available at the Liverpool Yacht club. The house boat has two bedrooms, one bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen with beautiful views of the dock. There is an indoor fireplace as well as a TV and Wifi available! Beautiful 60ft traditional narrow boat on the river, 240v is only available when the engine is running. We have wifi and external cctv. It is clean, warm, safe and has a chemical boat loo. The beds are all very comfortable and consist of one main double & bunk and one sofa bed, all in separate rooms. The boat is mainly on the river and we have a wide plank for access, making the boat unsuitable for wheelchairs, elderly or infirm. The boat has been on Inspector Lewis. The boat is NOT a hotel.

She is a former oil industry escape craft and when she came her in 2019 was still fully functioning with engine, seatbelts, emergency supplies etc. Now she sits in our Glamping meadow alongside our Safari Tents and Russian Truck. Great opportunity for learning to motor a canal boat for the first time. Adequate for two people and the amenities on boat were also adequate. If one is prepared for a backpack adventure on a canal boat through the Midlands of the UK on the Trent /Mersey canal then this boat offers the opportunity to do so. We enjoyed the experience and the country side with the abundance of birds and water fowls. The surrounding countryside and villages are peaceful and quiet and the folks we met along the way were usually kind and friendly and offered some good canal boating advice. After all we had a great trip and experience and can recommend to any adventurous traveler this canal boat. Great hosts and great stay!

Great stay on Andy’s boat with a couple of Schoolie bass to boot! Will definitely be back soon. Nice cosy bed, nice and warm throughout and ability to open the canopy for that real outdoor feel - a real consideration if you like the feel of nature. A lovely quiet spot. Can’t fault it!

The boat was lovely. It was perfect walking distance to a friend's house where we had a weekend of birthday celebrations and also perfect for the parkrun at Bushy Park Saturday morning. The boat looked just like the photos and loved the quirkiness of it. I was staying on the boat with my sister and brother-in-law so access to the outside toilet and shower provided extra privacy. We had a few queries over the weekend and Monica was always very quick to respond. Staying on the boat added to the wonderful weekend - thank you :)

This was a weekend break. We arrived in the evening which was no problem. The directions were clear and easy to follow, easily walkable from King's Cross. Everything was as described with plenty of room for two. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the quirky charms of life on the water! The location was incredibly peaceful, it was hard to believe we were in the middle of London. Communication was great and any questions we had were answered promptly which made our stay very relaxing. Thank you Michelle

Lovely location in the St. Katharine’s marina. Close to restaurants and a food store. We used Uber for transportation, but the boat is close to the Tower Tube. Lots of space to spread out and relax. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom shower had great pressure.

I truly enjoyed staying aboard Dana- it was a real pleasure and I was very sad to leave. Even at 6 ft 4 in (1.9M) tall, I fit in the shower no problem, which is quite an accomplishment in general, not to mention on a boat. The galley was better appointed than most Airbnb kitchens on land, and though the docks are very quiet, there are plenty of good restaurants, pubs, and attractions in the neighborhood. Tower Hill is a very convenient tube stop. I found it to be a very charming vessel that really felt like home - I came alone on business, but really hope that I will be able to bring my family back. You definitely feel that many good memories have been made here and that it is well-loved and well cared for.

Staying on a canal boat in the thick of the action in Hackney Wick is beyond anything we ever imagined! Harry was a true legend and a superb host, always available and had back up contacts if we needed them. The boat is spacious, comfortable and unique without compromising on amenities (like the telly) that travellers might be hesitant to go without. Harry provides everything you need for cozy fires, the kitchen is fully kitted out, all sorts of supplies, guides and recommendations for the area, as well as one of the best welcome packages I have ever used. Would gladly have spent far more time there than we had and I would highly recommend a day/night dedicated to just relaxing and experiencing the lifestyle and community that is the UK canals. Amazing, fun, vibrant location and still peaceful and quiet. Best of all the worlds!

Beautiful and really unique. We loved being able to take the rowboat out on the lake. A very quiet and peaceful place. One thing to be aware of is that the parking is a fair walk from the accomodation (you can unload at the accomodation but can't park there).
