Friendly host, we had a wonderful stay! Loved that you can easily walk into the local town, through country landscape

We found this little barn when we we're looking for places to stay close to Lapland Uk. What a find! A beautiful cosy little barn, warm, spotlessly clean & our son loved his little den bed upstairs & the little Christmas decorations round the barn. The little extras we're a lovely addition too, everything from tea, coffee & biscuits to shower gel & hot water bottles! The barn had everything we needed for our stay. We would definitely stay again Thank you x

We booked Natasha’s place at short notice for an overnight walking the SDW. Easy to find off the trail, cosy & comfortable with the log burner and good local pubs & cafe in S Harting for dinner & breakfast

We spent a week at the Barn with our two young boys, aged 5 and 6. We had a good time. The Barn is well located to explore Dartmoor National Park and the beaches of Southern Devon. The setting and nearby scenery are simply stunning. The farm also has two gorgeous cats that also moved in with us (on and off) for our stay, with the host being away. It was a good space to have with the kids. It also provided a very good taster of very rural life!

We absolutely loved our time at Sara and Rob’s place. An idyllic location with great facilities at the barn. Sara and Rob were welcoming, kind, and patient. Would love to stay again.

Lucy’s place is wonderful. Beautifully furnished and with everything you need. Spacious yet cosy and very warm on cold November nights. The log burner is brilliant. Quiet and rural but within easy access to all the sights. Lucy answers all questions promptly. It’s a gem.

We were a family party with ages from 5 to 75 . Lots for everyone to do ( swimming , tennis, billiards/snooker & beautiful walks all there) There was enough space both inside the wonderfully converted barn and outside in the extensive grounds to enjoy each others company without being overcrowded. Thanks Sarah for enabling a lovely weekend .

We had a Fantastic single night stay at Richard’s place check in was easy and being dog friendly made it perfect for us The place was very retro and had sone great furnishings the bed was extremely comfy. We visited the five dials pub for dinner on the host’s recommendation and we were not disappointed the food the staff and atmosphere were fantastic. Highly recommend Richards place and would love to revisit one day

Photos don’t do it justice! Even better in person. Very detailed folder of all the hosts recommendations was also a really nice touch and helped us decide on what we wanted to do.

Liz was a wonderful host: we checked ourselves in (there’s a keybox but the key had been left in the door for us) and Liz knocked on the door to say hi! She was so lovely and made us feel right at home. We were so impressed with the space: it is spacious and open, very clean and has everything we needed (including a couple of games to keep us entertained). The bed is really comfy, and it was perfect to go to sleep/wake up to the skylight window above us. Easy vicinity to get to all the sights we wanted to see by car. The instructions were helpful and clear so that we knew exactly what to expect when we arrived and we got exactly what we wanted. Would highly recommend!

From the minute we opened the front door we felt right at home, the Barn was warm and inviting. There was little thoughtful extras throughout the Barn and since it is Christmas time even a Christmas tree and crackers! Janice is a great host, very thoughtful, friendly and quick to respond to messages. The Barn is a great base to explore the surrounding areas. We will look Janice up again, should our travels take us in that direction in the future. Thank you for your hospitality, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The upside barn was beautiful very clean and well laid out Perfect for my 70th birthday The cupcakes and balloons and banners etc were a lovely touch The only tiny negative was the size of the hot tub only really comfortable for 4adults so two of us never got in and as we were celebrating would have been nice to be all together but on saying that we all had a great time and will defo return xx

We stayed a few days for a family get together and had everything we needed. We certainly felt very comfortable in the spacious barn. We have stayed in quite a number of Airbnbs over the years and when we arrived it certainly had the WOW factor. It was one of the best that we have stayed in. Chris and Nic were very friendly and welcoming.

My partner and I stayed in the one cottage with our baby and our friends stayed in the other with their children, the garden was beautifully kept and private with plenty of outdoor seating, very secure so felt at ease letting the children play. The cottages were nicely furnished and spotlessly clean, very well equipped kitchen with everything you would need to make any sort of meal. Plenty of room in the bedrooms for travel cots and lots of luggage. Location was great, small shops within walking distance, town only a short drive away, lots to do nearby. fortunately the weather was kind and we even got to drive the short distance to the ford to let the children paddle in the stream and get an icecream from the icecream van that parks there most days. Plenty of pubs near by serving good food. Anna and Tim were lovely, very welcoming and helpful with information and recommendations. Nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be visiting again.

The Barn was lovely! Cozy and very comfortable for the two of us and our 3 dogs. Super clean, really nice decorations, comfy couch and bed. Very complete kitchen utensils, ready to cook whatever you need. Hazel was very friendly and quick to respond. The place is lovely, peaceful and with outstanding landscapes. Besides she took my dogs for amazing walks with her company, so this was a plus. Totally recommend to book here.

We had a wonderful stay here! It’s in a great location, close to lots of walks! The barn itself is lovely, there are 4 good sized rooms and 3 bathrooms (we were 4 couples and it worked really well)! The living area is lovely to hang out in! The rooms are nicely decorated, and the house has everything you need! Sally is a lovely and responsive host. I really recommend - we’re already planning our next stay!

I stayed at The Piggery for two nights with a couple of friends. It's on a farm set in a peaceful, rural location. Check-in and check-out were very easy and Judy provided helpful instructions to find the place. Inside everything was clean and tidy and we found a well-equipped kitchen to make dinner for two evening meals. If I visit the area again I'll certainly check to see if The Piggery is available to stay in.

Lovely barn in the middle of nowhere. Just what we wanted in order to escape London for a few days. South Downs in the background, nice cosy fire on every night. Perfect!

Such a gorgeous Airbnb, loved all the attention to details and calm surroundings - perfect for a snug weekend in front of the log burner. Dee was great and super helpful - thanks so much and hope to be back soon!

Kate was extremely helpful and kind. Brilliant location for walking the coastal path. Clean and tidy, with everything you would need to stay with a large group. Would recommend!

Absolutely wonderful stay! Group of 5 couples stayed with so much to do and so much space for everyone, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. The en suite rooms were a nice touch for our group, super comfortable beds and we all had so much fun in the games room! Everything has been thought of at this place, I’m sure we’ll be back, thank you.
