Cosy country log cabin & private indoor hot tub!

XiomaraRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The best cost cabin! We had such a lovely time! My partner and I booked a weekend stay for our anniversary and to take the dog away for his first trip. It didn’t disappoint! The cabin was clean and homey, heating was on when we arrived so it was cosy when we got in and had everything we needed for a much needed relaxing trip! Alan was lovely, greeting us when we got in and was very responsive when I had any questions. The walk for the dog was lovely and the hot tub was the cherry on top! Deffo will be staying here again! Thanks for a lovely weekend!

Forestry Cottage. Hot tub, open fire, dog friendly

DebbieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed at forestry cottage for the weekend for my mums 70th birthday. The cottage was so homely and comfortable and a really good size for 7 people. Hosts were very accommodating and responsive, little touches like doggy treats and supplies (we bought our family dog) and balloons, party poppers and a happy birthday banner was left for my mum which was a really nice touch! The cottage is set in the most beautiful/peaceful place with decent walks around the lake. All in all we had a very lovely stay, would 100% recommend.

Beautiful, Unique Georgian Coach House & Hot Tub

AimeeRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We had a lovely long weekend at Anna’s Coach House celebrating my mum’s 60th with my family. There was something for everyone including our 3 toddlers. Grounds were beautiful & the house smelt lovely & clean. Anna was very responsive & helpful during the lead up to the stay as well as during our stay. The only slight negative myself and my guests had was that upon booking we had expectations that some things would be included in the price as it was shown in the photographs (hot tub, extra fire wood, electric charger for example) but these were all at an additional costs that we were unknown about when originally booking. There were a few logs but didn’t last more than half an evening. Apart from this everything was lovely & we would recommend Anna’s Coach House.

Ramson Lodge - with hot tub & fishing lake

KellieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Absolutely amazing. Beautiful inside and the grounds were even better. I booked this for my mum 60th birthday and we all had an incredible time. All rooms were beautiful with a lovely kitchen too, even better the welcome pack they leave you. The wrap around veranda was the highlight for us, we spent most of the days on that with the hot tub, we were lucky enough to have good weather so we could really make the most of it. The fishing lake was lovely my partner fished and enjoyed it. The owner was always happy to answer any questions whenever I needed them. Thankyou so much.

Private 3 bed cottage in pretty Hitchin village

VickiRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a fabulous weekend. The cottage was exactly how it was described. Everything we needed. Lovely comfy beds. The bedrooms worked out great for our 2 daughters(18 & 11) they both had there own bedrooms & our oldest loved the en-suite & we were upstairs. The hot tub was a massive plus. We visited the pub across the road, the Green man for food & drinks on the Friday night recommended by Jess & ordered a Chinese on the Saturday, it was unreal, kitchen chop suey bar. Our reason for staying was to visit Harry Potter & its ideal 35 mins to get there. Thank you so much

The Woodpecker Tree Temple - Private Hot Tub

KirstenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Had a lovely stay at the Woodpecker cabin! It was really a peaceful stay, with beautiful surroundings and the contactless check-in added to this secluded feeling. We managed to see lots of wildlife (barn owls, pheasants, hares etc) and enjoyed the relaxation in front of the firepit and in the hot tub!

Norfolk family pet-friendly river retreat & spa

LucyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The most gorgeous house with great facilities. Such peaceful surroundings and felt very safe and secure. The host gave some many recommendations on activities and places to go that aren’t far from the area. Can be a little hard to find, however the host gave clear instructions. Couldn’t recommend more!

Luxury, cosy studio in village with pubs & walks

MariaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The surrounding area is populated with buildings that are centuries old. Staying at the Old Forge involved us closely with the charm and history of this area of Suffolk. The local shop the Boxford Stores is the oldest recorded shop in Britain. The beams in the bedroom are beautiful, my husband even noticed the traditional plasterwork had horsehair within it. It's certainly the most historically interesting individual home we've stayed in , fascinating. The bed was so comfortable, we loved the quality of the bedding.

Jennie's Cottage, a home from home.......

RoseanneRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Had a fabulous family stay at Shaun’s place, what a spot! Despite feeling cosy like a cottage it’s super roomy, and the gardens are huge. Perfect in sunny weather to sit outside. Great for families, loads to do around Castle Acre. And Shaun was really lovely! Can’t fault the place, would highly recommend and will hopefully be back.

The Lodge, Bourn, near Cambridge

ChrisRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We stayed for 2 nights from Christmas Eve to Boxing Day 2024 and what a find this cabin was. As the listing states, there's no TV but that was fine with us and we spent a lovely couple of days enjoying countryside walks (our dog loved it!), conversation, board games and reading. It was wonderfully peaceful and we all felt refreshed from the break. The only very minor issue was that there is only a combi microwave and a 2-ring induction hob. I brought along an air fryer/oven so was able to knock out our Christmas dinner pretty well but be aware if you are planning to cook anything exciting. Additionally, despite having an induction hob at home, I couldn't work out how to get it working but that wasn't an issue for me. Great wifi, wonderful walks abound, we were greeted very nicely and then left to our (happy) devices throughout our stay. I can recommend The Willow Tree in Bourn for wonderful food but we didn't try anywhere else, given the times we were there. Many thanks, Jonathan.

Honeyway 17th Century Cottage

LexRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
It was a real pleasure to be able to stay in such a historic building. Tall people do need to watch out for their heads though. The modern extension housing the kitchen and bathroom were great. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again given the chance. The location in historic Whittlesey is also a very interesting and town. It was perfectly placed for us to meet up with family who live in surrounding districts.

Peaceful & quiet river retreat (Stunning views)

ElaineRating, 5 stars3 months ago
The stand out feature of this flat is the location - with openable french doors looking up the estuary and other views from smaller windows. I came here to unwind and it was fantastic to just gaze out of these windows onto the estuary, watching the tide ebb and flow, the busy birds and the weather rolling in. I was able to enjoy the outside without expending the energy reserves that I was trying to top up:- you can even watch the scenery whilst laying in bed! Incidentally the bed is a firm orthopaedic one.... which felt uncomfortable when I first laid on it - but it was my tense achy body that was uncomfortable and not the bed! in fact the bed helped my bones and muscles to sort themselves out and I slept really well - and lots! For those not falling into the category of recuperating carers - ROWHEDGE is lovely - plenty of walking and sights to see - the restaurant nr the flat is great! I was here in the winter months but I imagine much fun to be had on the river in summr

Great Barn

JRating, 5 stars29 months ago
We stayed a Great Barn for 7 nights and had a wonderful time. It really is a home from home. There iseverything you could possibly need there. We were a group consisting of a 2 year old and four adults. The pool was brilliant no one really uses it and it was warm enough for November. Everywhere is about a half hour drive away which is fine activities wise but there is a Morrisons and Garden Centre just down the road. It's diffcult to find in the dark but not impossible. The car park is at the end of a short path which you have to walk down to get to Great Barn. Lots of things to see and do in and around the area. A wonderful stay had by all.

The Pippins studio flat

НадеждаRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We were greeted well upon arrival. They showed and explained everything. We were also lucky to see beautiful peacocks on the territory. The house corresponds to the description and photos. There is a good sauna, a large pool and there is a passage from a small goubina to a large one. The jacuzzi is also large. Everything is clean and neat, we liked it, the child is delighted, we will definitely come again.🙃
