Waterfront vacation rentals in Del Coco Beach

Our 4th trip to Tamarindo - best by far. Gorgeous setting, lush foliage around the pool, wall of windows looking out on the beach and Pacific. no more than a 10 minute walk to town and vegan food: Falafel Bar, Green Papaya, WokAndRoll, Nougi's, Sat/Wed market. The grounds were well-kept, they use a rake to remove leaves, not leaf-blower. Pool area is lush and serene. Beach and ocean are clean and swimmable, plenty of shade over bench right in front of the property. Lykans Surf School right there - Andre was great. No better location to try surfing, gentle waves, standing depth. Be prepared to haul your luggage up/down outside spiral staircase to the studio. Ceiling fans are really quiet, AC off / windows open to hear the surf all night. And howlers strolled through several times, right at eye-level from the deck. Beach walk every morning and evening - beautiful sunrises/sunsets in clouds over the harbor. Can walk to town on the beach or road. Don't need a car. Fabulous place!!

My wife and I love this place. This is the second time we stayed here in the last two years. This is our go to BnB when we stay in Tamarindo. Ana is amazing and is so helpful when things dont work or if you have questions. 10/10 place!

Such a wonderful little spot, right in the heart of Las Catalinas. The studio was immaculately clean and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The space is perfect for a couple or family with smaller kids. The bed was super comfy and the studio was beautifully decorated… it’s a very relaxing and cozy spot. The proximity and access to the Beach Club was a nice perk! Diana was very responsive and provided us with so many great suggestions during the stay. Thanks for such a memorable stay! We will definitely return.

Arun was an exceptional host, tending to every request or question. We had few issues, however, if something came up it was taken care of in a timely fashion. The quality of the appliances and furniture was top notch! This "home" was spacious beyond - beds were so comfortable, with the best linens. Breakfasts which were served on the top terrace daily was a perfect way to start the day - and servers at this "resort" were beyond kind and efficient. We will definitely return. Very grateful for this experience.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach, which made it so easy to enjoy the ocean whenever we wanted. The place was spotless and exactly like the pictures—bright, spacious, and welcoming. Communication with the host was excellent; they were so thoughtful and went above and beyond to help us celebrate our honeymoon, making the experience even more special. We truly appreciated all the little touches they added to make our stay memorable. We would definitely love to come back! Highly recommend!

Great area, and even though I was there in the off-season, the beach was definitely a great place to go, as were the shops around it. A ton of restaurants were not open though because it was the low season. I missed out on seeing a lot. I also would recommend renting a car because, unless you want to Uber or taxi everywhere, you can’t really get out of Coco any other way and see the other beaches and such. I missed out on that this time but I definitely know how to plan better for the next time.

We had an excellent time on a work-cation at Paula’s! She was very responsive and instructions were clear. We enjoyed the balcony and pool where the WiFi continued to connect so we could work outside. There were often Iguanas in the trees which was a cool sight! We loved that the location was a short walk to the beach and restaurants. We got to surf every morning before work! We also appreciated the hill you had to climb back up as it got our hearts pumping each day and more of an excuse to enjoy ice cream. :) Just a reminder to bring your own shampoo/conditioner & soap as they aren’t provided.

We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to visit again. The house is in the perfect location- a short walk to town and just steps from the beach. We also all fell in love with Missy. She is the sweetest dog. The owners are very responsive to any questions. They met us there to check in and even messaged me with restaurant and grocery store recommendations.

Spacious condo with Playa Langosta quite literally on your doorstep. We were thankful to be a little bit outside of busy Tamarindo, especially with kids. The howler monkeys cross the street morning and evening by Fish and Cheeses. We also enjoyed watching the humming birds from the balcony. I really appreciated the great laundry facilities as we hit a very wet period. We spent most of our days travelling to beaches north or south of Tamarindo with Jake's place being a great base for this. Jake sent a little video showing how to find his place once inside the gates. It made the check in process really easy.

Another awesome stay. Accommodations were perfect as usual. Owners were super friendly and responsive. Location is unbeatable as it is steps away from the beach as well as great restaurants. Can’t wait to return.

Great place. Within walking distance to Potrero Beach and short drives to other beautiful ones. The place was great, the car outside in a driveway no problem. Kenneth very helpful and friendly. We greatly enjoyed.

The house was perfect for our family, 3 boys, grandma and the two of us for a total of six people. Wonderful indoor/outdoor living. The backyard, pool and beach access were amazing. Very relaxing and peaceful, we felt like we had the beach to ourselves. You can rent everything you need in the community, book all tours and excursions at multiple places in the community. Easy access to Tamarindo if you want to have that experience as well. We’d 100% recommend this place and hope to go back soon.

Great house. Loved the quiet location. Steps to the beach and screened windows/doors lets you hear ocean at all times. Beach is super quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

My family and I loved our stay here. The location was great - right on the beach. And the outside lounging area was perfect for our large family. The onsite host (Flor) was awesome. She made us an awesome local breakfast one morning and was available anytime we needed anything. If you’re ok with no A/C and a more rustic feel, this place is for you. The location is hard to beat!

Ron is a fantastic host and his place was perfect for our family of 4. The beach in front of the home was so peaceful and beautiful, and it’s a close drive to other lovely beaches as well. Inside was well appointed & the AC worked perfectly in every room. The sunset views from the patio were definitely something my family will always remember! Book Ron’s place… you won’t regret it!

Had a very pleasant stay. Brandon was on point from beginning to end. Very clean and comfortable unit. The walk to the beach was not bad at all. Yes, there is a steep driveway to navigate, but definitely manageable. We stay in the area often and would definitely rent this condo again.

We had a great visit and stay at Ray’s place. The views were amazing and having direct beach access was wonderful. Great restaurants were nearby too.

We (the four of us) had such the perfect stay here this week at Joost's place, it was a touch of class and heaven all wrapped in one. The views from the master bedroom every morning was the perfect way to start my day, and it rained our last day, and we even saw a rainbow, it made me want some Skittles candy because the rainbow had every color of skittles in it, the host was super responsive, booked our transportation to and from the airport and booked our entry into the Rincon Vieja Hot Springs and that was a good time. I would recommend Joost's condo and as my first time visiting Costa Rica if I ever returned, I would book this place again because the beauty of the views from the living room, balcony and bedroom are jewels to the eyes and the honorable mention would be the master bathroom| closet as well very nice there was enough space to accommodate all my fashions that were in my suitcase.

Safe, quiet and peaceful access to private beach and 5 min drive to larger beach areas. Marina Resort Hotel nearby is older and in need of updating but generally clean. We didn’t use pool or tennis but great to have those options. Great base for trip to playa flamingo.

Very spacious condo with outstanding views of the ocean. Right on a beautiful beach. Very comfortable beds and furniture. Very safe condo building. Close to everything and at the same time away from the crowded areas of Tamarindo and Langosta Beaches. Very helpful and responsive condo managers.

Danielle’s home has it all,very well equipped,walk to everything (beach, food ,groceries etc) We will definitely be returning to stay again. She was able to get us checked in early so we could explore the beach. Thank you for everything Danielle. Pura Vida

Great place that's quieter than Tamarindo and it's walking distance to town. Surfer's - it's walking distance to spots in town or right in front there are a 3 great spots. There's an unbelievable Italian restaurant right across the street with amazing pizza (and try the massive burgers!). You can check the sunrise from the east of the unit, or the sunset on the balcony. Surfers can check the swell and conditions right from the balcony. Birdwatchers will like the view from the balcony and the binoculars in the unit. There are iguana's climbing up and down the tree you can see from the balcony. The unit has more than enough space to kick back & relax. No one will fight over the sinks, bathrooms or showers. We used the BBQ and cooked efficiently in the kitchen. The rice cooker was handy too. The loft is a perfect place for kids. Although we didn't need the AC there are many units throughout the condo cooling off is not a problem. Or jump in the pool or the ocean! Wifi = fast 5 Stars
