Monthly Rentals in Wayzata

Our family needed a place to stay as we moved from OH to MN and our home we were building wasn’t quite ready yet. It is a charming cottage decorated very nicely. The kitchen is equipped with what you need. Since we stayed here during the winter, we can only imagine how adorable the outdoor screened in back patio would be in the spring, summer, and fall. We had 3 vehicles with us and the driveway is wide enough to park and move in and out easily. The owners are super responsive and communicated quickly and were very helpful. This is a great place for a trip to Lake Minnetonka, the location was awesome- right down the road from Hazelwood (a fabulous restaurant) and a quick trip to downtown Excelsior. Not to mention the trail is a hop across the street. The cottage is over a hundred years old so the floors are a bit slanted in some areas but not was it cute! All linens and towels are there for you. Our family of four and 2 dogs were comfortable there for our almost 8 weeks there😄

King bed was comfy & supportive. Adlon was quick to text back whenever needed and the week went fine. Small space but everything you need.

Dan’s Carriage House is beautiful and was the perfect home base for our trip. Our flight arrived late at night, and he sent us a picture of lights on a tree in his front yard to help us find our way. It was the first of many small, kind touches that made staying at Dan’s place welcoming. I hope to stay here again next time I am in town.
