Family-friendly vacation rentals in Wayzata

We booked three nights to accommodate extended family coming from Chicago and Duluth to celebrate my son’s graduation from UMN. This place was perfect for us! There was plenty of room for everybody. The kitchen, open living room area, and deck worked really well for entertaining. We threw a BBQ get together for my son’s friends, a huge success in this great space. The place is very well stocked with everything we needed. We also heated up the sauna each morning to start the day! Emily was very responsive to our every need. Thank you!

We had a great weekend staying at Eric’s listing! All the amenities were top notch and the home was very clean and nicely decorated. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend this listing to our friends and family!

This is our 2nd stay celebrating our family Christmas. Plenty of space and the basement is perfect for hanging out. The downstairs counter, fridge, pool table, and TV area worked great for watching Christmas movies and relaxing before we headed out to see Jim Brickman at the Pantages theater. Centrally located for easy access to sport and concert venues. Jill is responsive and has great restaurant recommendations. The property is as described and we had the best time! Thank you, Jill, for kicking off the Christmas season!

Stayed here with my sister and 2 other girlfriends for her birthday. It was so fun! Our favorite part? The hot tub literally steps outside the door. It was super cold the night we stayed so we were a bit hesitant to use the hot tub but we braved the weather and it was so worth it!

I brought my small church youth group to MN and stayed at her place. Beautiful place, cozy like home, perfect place for bonding. Her details for decor and everything that we might need are just superb, amazed me. The kitchen is pretty equipped with spices, seasonings, all the stuff that we need for a short stay. My husband loveees the coffee table area, different set of coffee machine and options. The place is very spacious, just like the photos, plenty of spaces outside and inside to have a cozy afternoon with long tables. Her game boards and books along with the other amenities keeping my youth entertained and bonding with each other. Sarah will go above and beyond to help us and to ensure we rest comfortably and accomodate what we need. Her home feels like home with aesthetic touch and design from entrance to living room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and basement all covered. Thanks Sarah, I truly appreciate your hospitality and your heart to serve others.

This was our third time staying with Katie. We had a great visit. This is a very special little cottage, which we very much enjoyed once again. As usual Katie was extremely supportive and helpful, making us feel right at home.

Amy Jo was a wonderful host and we felt right at home! The home was spacious and clean, the bed was comfy, and my little one had a blast playing with the toys and watching the ducks on the pond. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

My husband and I had an amazing time in this luxury, rustic, comfortable unique spot. We will, Lord willing, return as the hosts are incredibly joyfilled and helpful and the Corn Crib had e everything we needed... even a nice, heavy bottomed stainless steel pan! So thankful to have experienced their hospitality!

Great find for our group event. Secure entry, private baths for each room, great location, and gorgeous views made our stay perfect!

Lovely duplex, hosts live on upper level and are quiet. Right on the Mississippi River and close to restaurants. House has a lot of character and gives a great blend of city and country feel. Would recommend!

Nanci's was a great place to stay when we were in town for Thanksgiving. It is cozy, well-appointed, and clean. The description of the stay was accurate, and we would definitely stay here again. The ceiling is low in places for taller people. However, my husband had no problem being mindful of that fact, and we enjoyed our stay. While the small apartment is at basement or garden level, the light from the egress window in the bedroom area kept us feeling as if we were in a basement. We also appreciated the good quality sheets and towels.

This is comfortable stay with a very convenient location for exploring the Twin Cities. We enjoyed our stay!

This was our 4th stay at Mel and John’s place. One our favorite Airbnbs. Very friendly hosts who are super responsive. Apartment has a fully stocked kitchen with all you need to prepare meals. Lovely neighborhood with great access to a large park with lots of great trails and access to other parks. Easy access for the Minnesota state fair

Quaint & Quiet says it all. Paige was considerate to turn up the heat for us due to an early snow without our asking. Everything was very cozy! When we are back in the area, we hope this will be available again!

Had a great stay and the location was great for getting anywhere in the city. I’m from the area so lots of access to everything I needed. Michael was very responsive and the place was nice and cozy for our 4 day stay. There were plenty of towels and blankets. The kitchen was great for cooking. Stayed in the winter and was chilly until we messaged Michael. He was more than willing to warm the place by adjusting the temp for our stay. Everything was perfect and definitely recommend staying.

Had a great stay at George and Judy's after I sold my home and needed a nearby place to recoup. George and Judy even came to Minneapolis to attend my art opening that week which was really nice of them. Place was spotless and had what I needed -including a delightful box of toffee chocolate that was very good.

Audrey has curated an absolutely adorable place to stay! Centrally located, it’s an easy drive downtown, to the airport, to IKEA and beyond. The basement apartment has its own entrance + key and it felt like we were staying with our cool aunt. :) Audrey was very responsive and had clear instructions plus a ton of local menus were in the space. This spot is perfect for a small family, and worked great for a girls trip (2 people.) I would not hesitate to book Audrey’s place again next time in the area. Also 100% recommend checking out nearby restaurants Heather’s and BaGu.
