We had a great stay! The house had a lot of games, ping pong, hot tub, and plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen was nice and well stocked. It was a great retreat with friends. Thank you!!

We enjoyed our stay at the Izaty's. We stayed in March before the season opens for the summer guests and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. Everything was clean. The beds were very comfortable, and we enjoyed the king size beds. We had a little difficult time finding places to eat since some restaurants were closed for the season. The kitchen did have cookware and appliances, etc., so we could have easily made a meal if we didn't go out to eat. Ellie and Brian did respond quickly before and during our stay. We definitely would stay here again.

This place was so cute! we enjoyed playing pool, watching the swans on the lake and relaxing by the fireplace. It had everything we needed fir our stay!

So much room and plenty of privacy for a large family. The large kitchen made it easy for gathering and cooking together. All necessary housewares provided for everything we had planned for meals. The local Caribou coffee cups were a nice touch! The bathrooms are roomy with plenty of towels provided. Love the bedroom/bed options and the beds are comfortable. On the water tranquility conveniently located just 15 minutes from everything you need in town. Communication with the host was top notch. We had a couple requests that were responded to immediately and kindly. We left knowing we will be back!

We were celebrating my wife's 60th and my dad's 90th birthdays. We had all our children and grandkids there and it was perfect. The beach area was totally awesome for the little kids as you can walk out a 100 feet into the lake and the water is only up to an adults thighs so the kids didn't have to just stand close to the beach. I had to contact Tara about a couple of things during the week and she responded almost right away. Overall it was an awesome week and a great place to stay.

Our stay was short but we loved it here. David greeted us when we arrived and was very friendly and made us feel at home. We got to play with his pup Mesa a few times! She was a sweetheart. The place was clean and had a beautiful view from the living room window out to the lake! David also allowed us to check in early which was a plus!!

We were all so happy as soon as we entered the house cause of how pretty it was. Everything was perfect and more than anything that we could have ever asked for. We made so many beautiful memories that we’ll cherish for lifetime. We DID NOT wanted to leave the house and even 2 days after we are reminiscing out stay through pictures counting days we can be back again. Thank you so much Michelle again for being such great hosts and letting us stay im your place. We tried our best to take as much care of your house as we could. I hope it was enough. My group and I had such an amazing time, and Katie was very quick to respond! Very clean house, and very spacious. The hot tub was also so nice in such cold weather! I would love to come back again, and would totally recommend this place for anyone that’s interested in staying!

We enjoyed a 4 day getaway with a small family unit ages 2 months to 70 years. When we arrived we were excited to see the house and all there was to do. The house is beautiful, clean and we'll maintained. There is a lot of room inside and out for the adults and kids to play. We all enjoyed the game room, trampoline, kayaks, and fishing. The kitchen is well equipped with cookware and dinnerware. It was nice to have a dishwasher to clean dishes, and a washer and dryer for the clothes. All in all this lakefront property had everything we were looking for. Davron was very accommodating and quickly responded to any questions or concerns. We did run into a problem with the pontoon. However, it was out of the his control and we were compensated for the inconvenience. We would recommend this property to anyone who was looking for a beautiful lakefront getaway.

House was just the right size for our family. Lake was great and we enjoyed the kayaks. The fire pit was well stocked. Only downside was the road noise, but the view of the lake more than made up for it. Trevis is a wonderful host and responded to me promptly throughout our stay! Thank you for sharing your house with us!

We had a wonderful time; the house is filled with games/toys/all essentials you need! Sherrie checked in with us asking how check in was right away and was very responsive when we needed to communicate. The neighbors and community were also fantastic. We had a great experience.

A group of girlfriends stayed here for a get together and to say we were blown away would be an understatement! The house was even more beautiful than the pictures and has an amazing view of the lake! It was so peaceful to sit and drink coffee, especially with the changing leaves. Chris is very responsive and helpful. They have clear instructions for departure and always willing to help if there is a question. I will absolutely be recommending anyone and everyone to stay here. I, myself, would LOVE to stay again!

We recently made the trek to Aitkin area for some family events and wanted a rental that fit all of our family but also had a view. Even though it was still frozen, the lake was a beautiful back drop. The home was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with anything we needed for a comfortable stay. We cooked our own meals and everything worked great. Would love to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake! Highly recommend.

The Chicken Coop was exactly what the girls and I were looking for to hold our annual mom’s weekend away. Plenty of space to spread out and relax, while being cozy and comfortable to just hang together to reconnect and cluck. The uniqueness of the home kept us engaged in hypothetical scavenger hunts, and the location was close to both shopping and good dining. We love the Brainerd Lakes area, and Steve & Jake offered us a pleasant, fun, cozy spot to visit and explore. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Accessibility is a priority for me so having a zero entry entrance for wheelchair access was great. There is a single step (about 2") from the main entrance to the family room on the main level. Kitchen unfortunately was on the upper level, however, we were able to make do with some adjustments on our end that didn't impact qaulity time for dinner. The yard was navigable in a wheelchair as well and was able to get to the pier. There is a lot of amenities for entertainment for everyone, like ping pong, cornhole and darts. There's also a decent size play house that was thoroughly enjoyed as well. The lake is pretty shallow where the dock is, and a lot of lily pads so shore fishing was difficult without the correct lures. You can find panfish and bass, too. DNR unfortunately doesnt have too much info on the type of fish in this lake, however, thats what I saw. Host is communciative, responsive, and flexible within reason of any requests and felt greatful for them for it.

This is a beautiful location on lovely northern Minnesota lake. Accommodations are clean, and well equipped. Hosts are very nice and welcoming. I would recommend to anyone looking for an up north experience on a Great Lake

Leann was great. She answered my questions promptly and gave good information on local lakes to fish including their own lake. Very accommodating as we had a family emergency during our stay and was willing to let us leave early and comp us accordingly. We ended up sticking it out with about half our normal group. The others were on the way but turned around to head home due to unforeseen circumstances. We ended up working out a deal to stay again next year for the same family vacation to help out with the added costs this year due to only having about half the people we were expecting. I would highly recommend. There is a ton of sleeping and if you spend a little extra for the garage space with games, full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and 10 beds it is well worth it. 5 + star rating. Can’t wait to come next year!

Great weekend retreat for the family or small group. Easy checkin, plenty ofnfun activities, and right on a lake. Great cabin experience

The stay was fantastic. There is no shortage of things to do both around town and at the place itself. Perfect for a large group as there is a bit of something for everyone! The hot tub and golf simulator were a huge hit, would highly recommend for larger groups and families.
