we drove up for a wedding and happened to be there in the middle of the hurricane. Even though we had no power, we were still able to communicate with Brooke because she walked to the end of her road to get service to message us. If that's not a great host, I don't know what is. Thank you so much for being available even during the worst conditions to help answer questions we had. The Airbnb was beautiful and I even saw a couple deer which made me happy. Definitely recommend this place and we will be going back in better conditions.

The place is absolutely gorgeous and had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked with spices, utensils, and everything we needed to cook. The location is peaceful and there's ample room in the living space. Can't wait to stay again.

The house is such a gem!! It was perfect for our family of 9 for Thanksgiving. We could have never left the house our entire trip because the main level is so cozy and comfortable. There is plenty of games and puzzles to keep everyone entertained. My son loved the little nook area with the bean bag. There is plenty of space to spread out with the 3 different living room areas. If you want a good workout - go for a walk! The house is at a higher elevation in the neighborhood, so you will have to walk down and back up. We hiked to Laurel Falls - that was another workout! Be prepared to drive a little ways to the grocery store. We brought most of our groceries but needed a few things and the next town is 25-30 minutes away. (Of course, there is always Dollar General that is closer!) Not many places to eat out. The first night we went to the Trading Post and the food was good and the people were so friendly, we stopped back in on our way out to say goodbye!

Beautiful home on the lake with wonderful and responsive hosts. The home is beautiful and our hosts provided great recommendations.
